Farmer's World is dropped by devs but still many are playing it. You can still buy and sell #NFTs on the market, so I guess that's kinda extended life for a blockchain game. Game tools are cheaper and cheaper every day, you can buy them for 10c. But you can make a small profit selling specific NFTs like Gold Membership cards. New projects arise every day. Some are good, some are bad, some are disaster. As always DYOR specially if it is play2earn game and you want to invest in new project to get a chance and make some money. This is true for every project but sometimes when entry is low, meaning I need to buy NFTs for few bucks and I have crypto on the side I'll probably jump into it and see what happens. If it is free2play I don't even think about it, I have to try it, but I'll check first if it's worth the time. That's how I started with Funny Cats, another copycat project on Wax. Entry was very low, under $2 for 5 Felix cats NFTs, if I remember right. In the meantime I managed to upgrade 2 cards and get 1 rare Yoda NFT and 1 uncommon Bagira NFT. And than AtomicHub blacklisted the game. I jumped to their Discord to discover devs are selling entire project! Red Alert. Starting price is $1000. The reason stated is devs are mostly from Ukraine and they can't maintain it any more. Someone reported them to AH as this is suspicious action and they got blacklisted. However, there is another side of the story. This is the tweet explaining what happened from devs perspective. Answer from devs: "No. We got the message that our collection is blacklisted and no one wants to talk to us for the second day" But Trent Davis, co-founder of NFTGamerTV and MetaForce Comics explained that Cats NFTs are not actually original work, instead they used images from FriendlyStock even though they terms of use states that "you can not resell, relicense or give away our graphics (also applies to NFTs)". https://twitter.com/TrentDavis78/status/1563481830405582849 So if Funny Cats team somehow actually have the rights to images the game still have a chance. They didn't respond to the accusations by Trent yet, as far as I know it. Anyway, the game still works and the 2 tokens Catcoin and Catnip are available on Alcor for trading. For me personally it's not a huge loss. I learned my lesson not to invest without researching with RollerCoin and Pegaxy :) It will not happen again. So yes, play2earn crypto gaming is booming but that only means there are more and more shitty projects, fakers and people who want quick money. If project authors are anonymous there can't be responsibility for eventual loss. Doing detailed project research is the only way to protect yourself. Thank you for reading. Initially I've planned to post once every week and that's still my goal, but sometimes vacation happens - that's why episode 2 of Tales from the Cryptoverse is 3 weeks apart :) So let's see what are the changes in blockchain games I'm playing right now. **Raising Star** I've reached Level 70 (431/3500 points) and speeding to my next goal level 75 and unlocking Band Auditions mission in Local Gig Circuit. I bought only 1 new card but it's R214 Ice Cream Van rare card which brings 400 new Fans. It was on sale for 24k Starbits, so I'm happy about it. 3650 Fans | 252 Luck | 7750 Skills (0% Ego) | 64 IM Starbits token price is stable at 3 cents per 1000 tokens. **Train of the Century** As I said in previous episode price of Tocium is down. When I started and got my locomotives and commodities I've been making about $1 per day. Right now I can make only cents. Besides Tocium price another reason for this is commodity reward change. This is (I guess) natural in game change and it should continue to change over time. I have 2 Trains loaded with Wood chips which is in very low demand right now. My 3rd Train carries automobiles. This brings a little more tokens currently. This is why I decided to change strategy and instead of upgrading compositions with additional Rail cars I'll use earned tokens to buy Auto Rack rail cars and more automobiles. I will not sell wood chips, I'll hold them in case commodity demand change again in the future. **Funny Cats** To my surprise Funny Cats has been listed for sale! Yes, the entire game is on sale on their Discord channel. They have auction with starting price of $1000. The reason for this they say is because most of developers are from Ukraine and it's become harder for them to work on the game. This move have raised some concerns and AtomicHub have blacklisted entire project. We are yet to see what is the story here. Devs have posted about the situation on their twitter account. Just when I bought my first Yoda cat NFT :) **Cryptobrewmaster** I've started playing Cryptobrewmaster few days ago. It's very complex game and I have a lot to learn about it. I've received starter pack and 200 CBM tokens. For now I'm playing daily missions and I'm learning more how to play it. They have changed game look and feel a bit. **Other games** In Tokenlands I'm doing daily missions and collecting NFTs for crafting. I didn't post anything about it yet, I wanted to see how it works for some time and what can I do with it. https://listnerds.com Here are my stats for all the e-mails I've sent and I didn't skip one week for all this time. First one obviously couldn't be verified because I sent only 113 e-mails because I was new and still learning how everything works. My second e-mail that didn't get verified was post "Mining Cryptomonkeys NFTs in Alien Worlds". I post about crypto games and I expected this one to go through also but the problem was this post wasn't hosted on Hive but rather link I used was on another platform I repost Read.cash which is BCH related platform. At the time I concluded this is a no-no if you want to get verified. My last e-mail also didn't become verified. I'm not sure why and I hope I'm wrong but as time passes there are fewer and fewer Listnerds users as table above shows, from 1272 at the beginning to 1005 last week. Also price of token is falling very fast but I hope this is a temporary thing until more people jump in. I have high expectation here because the idea behind Listnerds is really original. I have staked over 3000 tokens so far. That's my first impressions, we'll see how this will unfold in the next Bull market :) p.s. This post was previously published on Hive.
