In this article, I am going to highlight my four babies, namely: Kiah (the Queen Mother), Taki (the eldest and the only survivor in the first litter), Kiara (the youngest of her batch), and Maki (the only surviving baby boy in the entire pack).
These four are my children. The rightful heir of my savings. Lol. They are not just my children, but they are also my source of joy, motivation, stress-reliever, my everything.
For some, they are just a waste of money. But for me, they are my source of money. Since I got Kiah, I became more inspired to work and do my best for her needs and everything. And now that I already have more, I have no reason to be lazy because I have four mouths and mine to feed.
Plus, they need to be vaccinated too. They aren't spoiled but as much as possible, I want them to have decent food and not just random leftovers. That's why I can't stop working.
Despite all the money I spent for them, from food, vitamins, shampoo, toys, treats, dog food, rice, meat, etc, no amount could ever beat the joy I found when I'm with them. I love them all and someday, we will have our own place to stay. That's my goal this 2021 - to have our own home.
Anyway, allow me to show their recent pictures, which my sister took this morning after their weekly bath session. Thanks to my sister, I have something to write and share today. Are you ready?
Meet Kiah, my firstborn. She's half Shih Tzu, half Maltese (according to her first owner). She's the sweetest but also the most envious one in the pack. She gets jealous easily. She is also bossy. (Yes, dogs are bossy, too)
She follows me everywhere I go. That's why if she wants to go out, and I'm stuck inside my room, she won't let me stay in peace coz she want me to stay outside, too, with her.
I think the reason why she's like that is because she doesn't want to lose me in her sight. We used to trick her whenever I had to go back to the city after just a few days vacay. So since then, she won't leave me alone, except when I have to go to the bathroom. She doesn't like that place, but she would check on me outside and wait till I'm done doing my business.
Her original name was Zoe, but when my sister-in-law took her, they renamed her Taki, a famous character in a Korean TV series. Taki is 25% Shih Tzu, 25% Maltese, and 50% Aspin (Pinoy local breed).
She may not look like her mom, but she is the sweetest, the most disciplined, and the most behaved in the pack as well. She doesn't have the look of her mom, but she has the personality that I love. Whenever we go out for a walk, and she got tempted to run, I would just stop and tell her to slow down, and she would listen. That's how good girl Taki is.
Kiara is also half Aspin. She's fluffy but only skinny. She's also the sassy one in the pack. She eats like a princess and walks like a princess, too.
She wasn't supposed to be the chosen one in her batch. Initially, I chose her brother, Simba, but he got sick and passed away, so I took her in.
When Kiara was a puppy, along with her siblings Nala and Simba, they would sleep outside my sister's room because they really wanted to sleep there because of the aircon. There was a tiny bit of hole in her door, so the three would sleep next to the hole to enjoy the cold air. Lol.
So this is my youngest, the only baby boy in the pack. He is only 10 months old, but he is already big. Still half Aspin, but he got the looks from his mama. Actually, he and Nala are the fluffiest in Kiah's litters.
Maki, or King for short, is the bossiest of them all. Unfortunately, her mama doesn't like him, and she barely plays with Maki. Good thing there is Kiara who always plays with him. The two are bestest.
And here is their family pic (minus me).
And here's a photo of their food. That's rice with a green veggie, and a pedigree.
I hope you enjoy your time reading stuff about my four-legged children. ❤️
**All photos are mine.
Awwww! Reading it makes me want to hug all of them!they are all soooo cute! Malakas ang dugo ng Pinoy kay Taki! Hahaha. I can just imagine how Kiara is. What's her breed? You just mentioned half Aspin but she kind of looks like a small and skinny golden. 😍
