I'm home

I am finally home. Yesterday morning after I had my breakfast, I left my brother's place because my dad wanted me and my mom to get our booster shot right away. He already had his booster shot last Monday. He told me about it over the weekend but since I was in the province and I wanted a different vaccine, I told him that it is ok if they will have to get their boosters.

Come Monday, all of a sudden, my mom said that she do not want to get her booster and would just also wait for the vaccine that she wanted. So my dad just went alone.

The following day, my dad was calling and texting me that my mom and I should get our booster shots until there are some stocks left of a better vaccine. I told my brother about it and thankfully instead of going home this Friday, it became earlier than expected.

And yesterday, I was finally home. What I love about coming home is not only that I get to see my parents but also my lovely furbabies. I shared a noisy post that Doggo and Doggie gave me a lot of kisses. What's even more surprising is that Doggie who does not want to push our kitchen screen door was so excited to go out that he really tried his best to push it using his snout. He was really cute however it was still Doggo who was able to push the screen door and both of them were able to go out and welcomed me with with open arms, tails wagging, wet nose and lots of licking. Because I was away for a week, they were with me wherever I go. That is why I sat on the floor and gave them all of my attention. I played and cuddled both of them.

As much as I wanted to be active here and on noise.cash yesterday, I couldn't because I still felt exhausted. I slept after I took a bath when I came home. We were suppose to get our booster shots yesterday morning that is why I left my brother's place early but my dad had decided to go on as planned and that is today.

And early this morning, my dad accompanied me and my mom to the vaccination site and we both had our booster shots. Side effects? My arm is so heavy.  Not that heavy when we had our second dosebut much heavier. It is so hard to lift my arm. It was expected and that is also what the doctor had said. My dad said that it will still hurt until tomorrow. I feel like there's a heavy weight on my left arm that I can only lift my arm up to 45⁰. But still thankful that we have already received our booster.

What are your thoughts about getting a booster shot? Some people are saying that we are now going to rely on vaccines until we will be immune to the virus. Personally, for now I can say that yes it is ok for us to get vaccines and booster shots because it is still free but how long will it be for free? What happens if we are to get vaccines every 6 months and we will shoulder for it? Will there be atill long lines who would pay for the vaccines or only the people who are privileged can get it?

Did you know that it was just last year when I first had a flu shot? Maybe when I was a baby I had a flu shot but now that I am an adult, it was only last year that I got a flu shot and a pneumonia shot. Luckily those shots were free as it was arranged by my dad's organization. We really do not get flu and pneumonia shots because of its cost. It may be a small amount to other people but not for my dad most especially it is multiplied by 3.

When we got home after our booster shots, we took a shower, ate lunch and that is when I made time to reply to your comments, read articles and also welcomed some new users like @Sel, @Melissa_1998 and a person with the same name as I do, @Jonna17. Let us all welcome these 3 users that I saw this afternoon. I love it whenever I welcome new users because it just means that our community is growing. In short, more and more people are now getting to know BCH. I hope they will be able to enjoy their journey here, make a lot of (virtual) friends and have the same love that we do with BCH.

Now that I am home, my dad had made me do a lot of tasks, basic tasks like copying a Viber message, forwarding a certain photo, taking a screenshot, buy some dog food and warm up one of his cars. Did you know that when I was not at home, he sent the link of the booster registration to my brother through Viber since I have not installed it yet. I want to install it if I am already using an iPhone and that means in the future. LOL. I told you my dad is not the techie but I have already taught him those it is just that he kept on forgetting it because he finds it a little complicated.

I am just so happy that I am back home. But even if I am home, my brother and sister-in-law still called me to ask for opinions and also to do some tasks. Oh, if only I can divide my body into 2 or more so I can extend my help to everyone.
