Cebu is well known for a lot of things. I was born and raised here. I can give you a list of the wonderful things you can do and irreplaceable experiences you can have in Cebu.

In this article, I will talk about some of the beautiful beaches in Cebu that has been attracting a lot of tourists. I will just provide a short description about the place and few pictures that I have gathered based on my travels.

  1. Voda Krasna, Alcoy

Alcoy has one of the finest beaches and beautiful landscapes in Cebu. This famous resort has been open for years and it lies just along the roads of Daanglungsod, Alcoy, Cebu.

  2. Basdaku, Moalboal

The term Basdaku was derived from two Cebuano words bas meaning sand and daku meaning big. It literally describes the long coastline of the beach.

  3. Lambug, Badian

This beach is located in Badian just few rides after the town of Moalboal. If you are planning to see and explore Basdaku, I would recommend to explore Lambug Beach after.

  4. Hermit's Cove, Aloguinsan

This beach is not just known locally but internationally, as well. Before you reach the beach, you get to see the magnificent top view of the wide ocean, the green trees and fine sand. What a beautiful sight!

  5. Orongan Beach, San Remigio

This beach is located in the northern part of Cebu in a baranggay called Anapag. It has been known for its white sand beach and affordable accomodation fees.

You can experience the crystal clear waters and fine white sand in these beaches. You can even capture the panoramic views for the gram.

These are just few of the famous beaches. I haven't even mentioned the waterfalls, springs, lakes, islands, caves, entertainment parks and others yet. If you want to know more about the other things that Cebu can offer, just let me know!

Best time to visit the beach? Uhh I couldn't answer that. Anytime is a good time, trust me. Either peak season or not depends on your vibe as well haha but best time to visit Cebu is on the 3rd week of January because of the Sinulog Festival that we have here. After the busy days, you can then go visit the beaches in the southern part. You can also explore the islands here in Cebu!
