The Pain - Epilogue (Fiction)

Joe started to rebuild his career back. He registered his own business that accepts construction and designs. He also enrolled in interior designing as well as grabbed the opportunity to become a financial advisor. He was so driven to earn more for his dream to build a hospital dedicated for cancer patients.

He and his long-time and very supportive girlfriend Annie are planning to get married after 3 years. When Susan was lying sick in the hospital, Annie initiated to have her own drive to help Joe financially. She designed some shirts about cancer awareness and sell them online or to some friends. All the proceeds are for Susan's.

Meanwhile, Mari returned to the hospital where she was previously working. She focused on her career and her aunt who is so working in the US asked her to apply there and she will sponsor her for faster processing.

One day, while she was resting in her area waiting for her next patient Miguel her boyfriend arrived. Miguel is also a nurse in that hospital where she works. He became Mari's source of strength when Susan was sick. He would regularly bring food for the whole family to the hospital and have shown so much compassion to Susan like her own mother. Susan loved him and she gave them her blessings already. He asked Mari if she could take a day off to visit her grandma and because Miguel is such a hottie, she could not say no.

Mari immediately checked her schedule and then informed her superior about her leave. Good thing her schedule is not full on that day. Miguel told her that he will wait for her in the parking lot. As soon as she arrived there she saw a piece of tarpaulin on top of Miguel's car with a question she never expected to come that early; 'Mari, will you marry me?'. Miguel is smiling as he comes closer to where Mari is standing; she froze for a while😁. As soon as he infront of Mari, he again asked, 'Mari will you marry me?' Mari's tears started to fall and said, 'Yes!' and hugged him so tight. Yes they got engaged!

Nina on the other hand is busy with her career. She took over the position that was left by her mom. She is enjoying being single and busy exploring the different cities of the country while working. She has a consistent suitor but she said that's not her priority at the moment.

Every Sunday, these three make it a point to have a bonding together either by eating out or pay visit to their parents. They became the best buddies and shares everything to each other.
