Tonight, my daughter Yuri and her cousin Jac were playing when all of a sudden this younger one grabbed her Barbie. She tried to get it back but Jac threw it that the other leg of Barbie got broken. Yuri was so brokenhearted that she immediately run to me and said that's her favorite Barbie. She even asked me to glue it so that it will be fixed. I just hugged her and told her that Daddy will just buy her a new one.
She called her daddy and told him what had happened. Daddy don't want to see Yuri crying and so he promised to find her a new one, same with what had broken. She stopped crying and approached her cousin with a hug. They again played together as if nothing happened.
When her cousin went home, she asked me to temporarily fix the broken leg of Barbie. Using a glue could not help solve the problem and so I tried looking for a masking or packaging tape to at least make Barbie look better not injured😊 and this was the result.
She was so happy and played again with her toys. After I finished all the chores and ready for bed, I saw a message from Daddy telling Yuri that he will go back tomorrow at the toy store and check if that same Barbie is available. I let Yuri read it so she will no longer feel bad about her Barbie. She smiled and immediately called Daddy.
We thought that she would just tell confirm what she has read but to our surprise, she said:
Yuri: Daddy, I want a baby brother! I am the first grandchild so I should also be the first to have a baby brother or sister not Jac! Please Daddy, baby brother please!
Mommy: But you already have Jac! (Laughing)
Yuri: No, I want someone who will come out from your tummy!
Me and Daddy were shocked and burst into laughter as we both thought that Yuri will talk about the Barbie and would again request for some other toys like she usually do. But she was serious and even told us that she has been thinking and planning about it and that she already thought of the name of her brother which is Mark. We still joked around trying to divert the subject but she was firm with her request.
This little girl never seize to surprise us. Sometimes she overthink that even us could not understand and imagine how and where she gets what she was telling. As s if we are not talking to a 6-year old little girl. Anyhow, maybe in God's perfect time her request will be granted but for now it's not possible and not yet on our plan.

Hahahaha. Ang kulit ni Yuri. Pero meron talaga ganun na guato meron silang younger brother/sister. Yung inaanak ko din sa pinsan nagrerequest sa nanay niya kaso ayaw nung nanay. Di pa daw kaya ng budget.
