Yes, Kusina ni Camila (Camila's Kitchen) will be opening soon! A project which started from a simple coastal clean-up drive! Wow, it's just amazing when people have meeting of minds and aimed to make something great. So let's start how all this thing came into reality.

Last December, I decided to have my own coastal clean-up because there are a lot of plastic bags, bottles and other rubbish items along the shore and they are becoming an eye sore already. When I got home and my sister saw that my two (2) large plastic bags are so full she decided to join me the next day and also informed her best friend about it. So the next day, we all joined forces to continue cleaning. At that time there are a lot of towns nearby that are developing their areas into an instagrammable one. That gave my sister and her friend an idea to develop an area along the shore to be a tourist attraction and also challenge the lgbt community to take part in designing it. They all agreed and instantly they started the plan.

My sister and her friend served as the financiers because they have no idea how to design. They just let the design team to do whatever they want and allow them to create something to be proud of and that have a wow factor. And so the project begins and it started to attract more and more volunteers to help and donate materials like bamboo and their service.

First one finished was this nipa hut. It looks really good and cool when up there. It's a good picnic place however it could only accommodate less than 10 people and so the head of the design team suggested that if the financiers are willing, why not extend their project and add more. They agreed instantly when they heard of the idea. After days of continuously working on the project, they saw the potential and so the decided to convert it to not just an instagram worthy destination but also a hang-out place where they can dine, eat and drink. So the Kusina ni Camila idea came to life.

They built a little kitchen where they can offer meals from breakfast to dinner and more.

Even when the project is still on-going, it's already starting to attract people and it's all over friends facebook feed. And so my brother decided to make a page so it can reach more and more people.

And in less than 24 hours, we already received inquiries and lots of shares.
