Big day!

Yes, today is the big day! It's my daughter's graduation day! I woke up early to prepare our morning snacks which includes the number one on her list which is the macaroni and cheese! It was my first time cooking it from scratch because before we had the instant one ans all you need to do is mix the ingredients after the elbow macaroni is cooked! Thanks to YT for the help, I think I did well because from breakfast to dinner, it was part of her meals😊.

Before 9am, I already set her clothes and even decorated the living room so we could take pictures while waiting for the virtual graduation to start. I am super excited because Yuri's welcome speech will finally be seen by our relatives and even Yuri. But tiktok, tiktok, it was already 930 and the teacher sent a message telling that there was a technical problem and the live streaming will push through at 1pm. We cannot do anything but wait a little longer but of course, the foods are not! So I invited our relatives and friends to have snacks in our house and celebrate with us.

Come 1pm, we already had our siesta and upon checking the school facebook account and the teacher's message, there's no update yet. And my daughter started to get bored so I let her play and do whatever she wants to ease that boredom. At 4pm, my daughter asked if we could go to the park as promised, then I immediately said yes. I was thinking that maybe the virtual graduation will be shown at night when they already fix the problem. The kids were already having fun and Yuri most especially enjoying climbing and riding the swing when the program started and I could no longer stop her from playing. She said, she don't want to go home because she has no playmates there😁. So we just watched the program using my cellphone. I just stopped her from playing when it's already her welcome speech. The other kids and the other parents also watched with us and gave her a round of applause after. It was not the way I imagined it to be as I wanted to share that moment with our family especially my mother who has been waiting for it since morning. I got a bit emotional after watching her speech, I am just so proud of her. Then after a while I received messages from other parents congratulating Yuri because of her speech. They didn't know that Yuri will have a part of the program aside from the photo slides of graduates that will be shown. After that welcome speech, the kids asked if they could go swimming since my cousin, who happens to be the caretaker of the resort, invited us. And as an additional treat, I said yes! She was so happy because for the very first time, she will experience swimming at the pool! And because of that I needed to stop watching the program and watch over the kids swimming.

It was already evening when we went home and when I checked my phone, there were already so many posts showing their kids in the virtual program. Upon checking, the live stream was no longer available for viewing. Yeah, I was not able to document that part but it's okay, what matters most is the celebrant had a great day!
