My heart is overflowing with joy that I got teary-eyed when I saw @Leny-ynel 's post of her baby already smiling. What a joy seeing this cute little angel in this state and it's a relief not just to the family but also to me and maybe to everyone who has been sending prayers and support for the baby. I hope that baby will recover immediately and that he will no longer feel any pain.
Aside from that, we have a very touching moment at the Kusina Ni Camila today. Three (3) fishermen have been rescued and were well taken cared safely delivered to their home already.
It was lunch time and the waves are extra huge and windy when a staff in Kusina Ni Camila noticed a boat somewhere in the middle of the sea. The waves are really scary that time and it's really dangerous to sail. So he called my brother and they borrowed a telescope to better see who these fishermen were. Then the boat color is not similar to the color coding assigned here in our barangay so they wondered and kept checking what was happening. They saw 3 fishermen who were trying to row their boat ashore and so my brother and his friend tried to get their attention by waving but no one from the boat was looking. They were all busy with their boat, fixing something. So they used a white cloth to wave at them. Luckily, one of them took notice of their signal. My brother sought help from the fishermen nearby and rescued these 3.
The 3 immediately invited to eat at Kusina ni Camila and they told us that they left home last night. They were already far from the shore when the motor of their boat did not function well. They try hard to row and paddle just to save themselves but was not successful. One of them was even trembling because of fear. 'I thought that we can no longer survive (akala ko katapusan na namin!), a fisherman said. They caught one (1) big fish which they have eaten raw just to survive. They all looked so relieved and thankful that they survived the incident.
We learned that they came from Currimao,Ilocos Norte and what a coincidence because that was my father's birth place. My brother-in-law immediately called his friends from that place and luckily they know these guys and they immediately notified their families that they were safe. My sister also called our cousin who happens to be the mayor's wife of that town and she instantly coordinated to the concerned departments. Around 4pm when the rescue team fetched them.
Love and kindness is everywhere. These happenings gives me so much hope with humanity. There is a good side in everyone really and so we shall not lose hope and trust to everyone and with God. We are blessed in so many ways and so we shall also encouraged to do the same.

Awwww. Glad to hear that the fishermen were safe. I remembered the movie that my parents and I watched on Netflix. It was based on a true story. The lead character and 2 of his friends were on shore for more than 100 days and only 2 of them survived. They also ate a bird but tasted awful. Then they were able to catch some fish the following days.
