Kusina ni Camila (update)

As mentioned in sis @bbyblacksheep 's article 'Managing a Restaurant (part 1)' I have been busy helping in Kusina NI Camila. As early as 7am or right after our breakfast, me, my daughter and my mother will go there to fix the chairs, pick-up rubbish, water the plants and other things that needs to be done before guests start to arrive. But sometimes, some guests come earlier than us, good thing some personnel were already there and assists them. Then we will come back by 10am, after our class, so I could help in the main entrance (I volunteered as the muse, but they just did not react!). At 12nn, we will go home because it's time to feed our kids who enjoys every moment at the beach. Sleep for at least 2-3 hours then we will again go back to Kusina until sundown. I have no pay yet, I just want to help for my sister who is co-managing the whole place. A property owned by Sir Noli Argel, who generously lent his property to be developed and to help promote our humble place.

So after 2 weeks of full operation; the reactions, the feedbacks, the number of guests and more, are so overwhelming. Some vloggers, photographers, and even media have already featured our beloved baby. It has been the talk of the town! A baby which was conceived from a simple coastal clean-up by family and friends and now, look how far it go!

• The first feature was made by The Afterglow by Josh Aguinir, one of the most famous photographer and video creator here in Ilocos Sur.

• Then comes another great photographer and video creator Ryan Visuals.

• Wait, there's more!!! Just this afternoon Kusina NI Camila's first ever feature on national tv is out! Check out Balitang Amianan, skip 30 minutes, and you can see my sister there☺️.

These and and more captured our labor of love, Kusina ni Camila, so beautifully. We just can't help but felt so proud that all these are happening. Thank you Lord is and will never be enough! This project is made out of love and with good intentions to promote our humble place, Pug-os Cabugao Beach.

And just this morning, my sister and her partners have been asked to report to the mayor's office. They were so nervous because they thought someone have reported them for any violation again. We have been hearing some complaints and disapproval from our barangay LGU's who never stops dragging Kusina NI Camila down.

But as the saying goes, no one can put a good man down! The mayor said, he was delighted to hear good feedbacks about Kusina and our town was also been exalted because of this. He said, he will visit the place soon but he did not request for a VIP treatment, good job mayor!. And that, he wants our landscaper/designer to also do the same with their own resort in nearby barangay and wants the whole team to co-manage the resort who is also owned by them! Wooaah, that was OMG!!

We were clapping, smiling and felt overjoyed after hearing the good news! So next time you want to travel, please include Kusina NI Camila in your destination and I will meet and greet you there!!!
