Is there a baby earth?

My 5-year old daughter Yuri and our eldest sister always have this bonding moment wherein they talk about anything random. Today is not an exception, here is their convo:

Yuri : Tita (Aunt), do you have a meeting again with Josh? (Josh is my sister's client from the US and they have this regular daily meetings).

Tita: No, I am not busy today. Why?

Yuri: It's lunch time Tita!

Tita: Okay, in a while.

Yuri: Tita, did you know that covid 19 is around because Mother Earth is already full of people?

Tita: Hmmn, maybe.

Yuri: That's why we need to plant more trees.

Tita: oh okay, you are right Yuri. We need to take care of Mother Earth by planting more trees.

Just when her Tita thought their conversation is over, Yuri again asked.

Yuri: Tita, if there is Mother Earth, is there also Baby Earth?

Tita: (paused for a while and answered) We are the baby earth Yuri, that's why we call her Mother.

End of convo.

My sister told us about it just tonight when she was having dinner. She said she was surprised and never did she imagined that Yuri will ever thought of that. She said that everyday, she gained something from Yuri.

Kids this days are smart and sometimes they have this innocent question that makes you realize they actually have a point. That's why we cannot just give them answers that are baseless and nonsense because they have a great memory. They can remember all your answers.

And on Monday, their classes will start and I, for the meantime, will be her teacher. It's challenging but I need to focus and really understand her lesson so she can learn something from me. I hope she will participate and cooperate well. Oh, good luck to me!
