In social media platforms especially those that rewards us something out of our posts, I have proven so many times that being genuine with our comments will help you get noticed and earn more.
The first time I proved it was when I was new in Whatsaround app. I am a nobody in photography, as in zero knowledge. I don't even know what is the Rule of Thirds is that time. I just heard it from a fellow user there and became my mentor when it comes to photography. Since I could not match in any way with their photography skills at that time, what I did was to interact with other users genuinely, by appreciating their posts and writing real and related comments to their photos. Not just a simple wow, beautiful, nice shot, etc. Users can feel if your comments are real or not (based on my experience☺️) and when they do they will return the favor without even asking or begging.
That's what I consistently did while I'm trying to improve my skill. Then one day, a known user of the app (TheRandomOne in Twitter) sent me a message thanking me for my comments and then he invited me to join their group together with other users including the app's founder. Since then I received more support and I earned faster while enjoying because it's really fun talking with them. Then without even noticing my shots have improved a lot, sadly I have no copy of my first shot there so I could compare it with what I am sharing now☺️.
Here are some of my fave photos from the app:
Going back to my main topic, I then found another platform wherein you post articles with attached pictures in it then you'll get paid. I was hesitant to try it at first because I am not good at writing. I only know how to draft audit reports which has templates☺️. But then I still pursued and started writing; short stories, poems or anything random. While I am digging my basic knowledge in writing, I get to enjoy reading other user's articles about life, passion, love, aspirations, etc. I give comments to only articles that hooked me and then I slowly gained friends whom became my closest virtual friends ever. I slowly gained my confidence to continue and love writing.
Just this morning I read an article of @MoreGainStrategies with his very catchy 'How dare you!'. And I just left a comment without expecting anything in return. But then he recognized me and to my surprise he even searched me in noise.cash just to give me a gift!
Being part of these types of platforms is not all about money. You also have to enjoy and be happy to be able to produce quality content and to give sincere and genuine interactions. Without it, I'm sure you cannot stay with the app for long and you would easily get bored, feel frustrated until you'll just decide to quit and find another one.
Be real, be unique and be interactive in a good way. You will not only earn money but more importantly real friends.
