Accident/s

The water came so fast earlier that I forgot to take the lens ball off the sand. But I think it still looks nice.

Accidents happen for a reason it's either to remind us to take it easy, slow down, take a detour or something else. But this one tells me that accident do happen to show a better perspective of the beauty in front of us.

This is the picture and the caption of my most recent post in noise.cash. I could hardly think of a topic since last night and I was looking through other's post in noise.cash to at least find inspiration. Sadly it didn't work out and just fall asleep without writing an article not until I saw this picture I captured earlier.

Have you gone or suffered any accident in your life? How was it?

I have witnessed some as we live near the highway and there are a lot of vehicular accidents transpired just in front of our house. There was even one time when the shoes of the victim went straight at our doorstep and it was such a scary and traumatic moment. My sister was then pregnant and she could hardly fall asleep for 3 days thinking of that accident.

But accidents sometimes happen for a reason. My uncle accidentally slipped in their bathroom and his leg was badly hurt. He had undergone series of tests then from that result they found out that he has a bone cancer and it was already in stage 2. He went through chemo, radiation and more until the doctor finally said he was free from that cancer. His life was extended for another 3 years. (May he rest in peace).

When Yuri was still 2 years old, early morning we were walking along the highway and then stopped at the waiting shed in front of the barangay hall. We sat there for awhile when she suddenly point out the basketball court. At first I hesitated because there was no one around and I was a bit afraid but then she started crying so I gave in. Just a few seconds after we left the waiting shed, a fast, loud and screeching sound was heard. When we look back, there were two motorcycles strongly bumped into each other exactly at the waiting shed. The passengers were badly hurt and the other one was dead. I still has goosebumps whenever I remember that scene because if Yuri would have not been persistent in going to the basketball court, we might have been victims of that accident. I am so thankful that God spared us from that accident. Maybe we still have our purpose to fulfill in this life.
