The right thing to do at the age of 20

The age of 20 is frequently cited as being the most critical and significant age. You go through a transitional period at this age that defines the course of your life and the level of success you will have. You will feel like an adult at this age since you can support yourself financially, you are working and pursuing a career, and you already have guiding ideas for your way of life.
The maturity cutoff is 20 years old. Psychologically, a person is deemed capable of planning, making decisions, and understanding the effects of those decisions after they turn 20. Therefore, you must be aware of how to conduct yourself and the choices you must make as a 20-year-old. That's because your 20s will forever change who you are.
What choices should you make now that you are 20 years old?
1. Schedule time for your loved ones and family.
You'll start to find it challenging to define priorities in your 20s because you're doing so many activities. You are mired in a routine as a result of your attention being on your career and financial success. Avoid spending precious time with your family and closest friends; you'll regret it when you're older.
Make time for your loved ones despite your busy schedule. Your family and closest friends will be there to support you and help you rise during the difficult times and when you fall short of achieving your goals.
2. Develop relationships and networks
Don't waste your twenties by being ineffective and lazy. Do not be embarrassed or lethargic when meeting new people. The ability to network is now a requirement if you want to succeed in realizing your goals.
3. Increase your understanding of your hobby
We frequently repeat daily activities when we are busy. Because we become too accustomed to the same pattern, the same routine can cause us to lose the "desire" to attempt new things. Try to glean fresh ideas from your favorite items.
For instance, if you enjoy reading, consider joining a book club in your city where you may participate in book discussion activities and make new acquaintances.
4. Practice patience and stop worrying
It makes sense that you would want to advance significantly and quickly in your 20s. In an effort to pursue your dreams more quickly, you do a lot of things at once. You'll consequently grow irritable and have a propensity for feeling stressed out.
Adopting the "one step at a time" philosophy will help you develop patience during the process. In this way, you can prevent stress, which is bad for your health.
5. Learn as much as possible
Because people have a tendency to stop learning as they become older, their brains stop developing, which is the cause of senile dementia. Spending your youth pursuing money and social status should not come at the expense of educating yourself. It's also very helpful for you to pursue your dreams of being resourceful, which you may do by continuing to learn and improve your abilities.
6. Surround yourself with positive people.
Although you have the freedom to pick who you hang out with, one of the best choices you can make in your 20s is to choose healthy relationships. Keep yourself in the company of motivating individuals to keep moving forward. Get close to those who never forget to share everything, especially wisdom.
Your environment and the friends you choose to surround yourself with more or less shape your character or personality. Therefore, it's crucial to choose friends carefully.
So if you are now 19 years old, get ready to start taking responsibility for your life ahead. A good future certainly begins with the formation of good character when the person is developing.

I agree with you, when I was in high school, my teacher also said to start shaping and exploring the character that is in us when we are 20 years old.
