Have you ever stopped doing something midway because you think the process never ends? Like it's too slow? Have you ever thought if you'd succeed on your goals by saving just cents for the day? Have you ever stopped because it felt like you're in a never-ending progress?
First and foremost, the progress you had is the result of your hardwork. You would never reach your goal if you didn't progress. Your progress is where you'll learn what you lack, what you've done too much and what other things you should do more.
Just think of it as a video game. You used one technique then you passes level 1. You used another technique, you passed level 2. You used another technique, but you failed. So you thought of combining the two techniques that made you pass the previous levels, and then there you did. When you're in Level 1, you don't think about "What should I do to beat the boss?" You think about what you should do to pass the level you're in.
Coming back to my second paragraph,
"the progress you had is the result of your hardwork. "
The progress is you passing each level, it's the result of your hard work and dedication. So in real life, why would you think about getting how to graduate when you're on your first semester? Why would you think about losing or gaining 20 pounds when you don't even know what and how you should do the exercises to begin with? Why would you think about the bigger things instead of thinking of small things that would lead you to what is really bigger?
So if you're ever thinking of stopping what you're doing right now because of slow results, your progress is what matters. It doesn't matter if you're not part of the honor students or dean's lister, if you're grades are getting better, you'll get it. It doesn't matter if you lose or gain a pound in a week, keep doing it, you'll get there.
You progressing, is already a success.

Progress is a step for success. Nice one you have here. We must know that there is no such size for progress or success, everyone has its own pace. Just do it on you own and you'll definitely get there. Keep writing!
