Rainy morning fellow noisers! Continuing my Christmas tree posts. This is another outdoor Christmas tree and this one is located in front of my office. I work at a different business district and i must admit I miss the Christmas displays where I previously worked. I have stayed in the pool area just lounging and looking at this when it it lighted up at night. This is a Christmas tree post but a slightly different one. These photos were taken from the lobby of my other condo unit. This year's theme was 'native' and 'recycled' so the Christmas displays not only had a 'Pinoy' toucj, the materials used were also recycled materials. Here is a Christmas tree made of discarded carton and a nativity scene. Another Christmas tree post. This is the one located in the lobby of another tower in our condominium complex. this one has a predominantly blue hue. I like this one as well. Although, when I took the photo it was early in the morning so the lights weren't turned on in the lobby so the photo ended up a bit dark. Hi fellow food trippers. My meal earlier was Wendy's. I was coming off a 16 hour fast so decided to indulge a bit. Not the healthiest option but it sure hit all the right spots. Hi fellow noisers. My small contribution in spreading the Christmas cheer, been taking photographs of Christmas trees set up in the malls, in our condo, in our building, and basically everywhere I go that there is a Christmas Tree, I take a snap shot of it. I must admit that past couple of years, even before the pandemic, was never excited for Christmas. Still not excited now but with all the gloom and doom, decided to switch it up and try to be festive. Here's the Christmas tree in the lobby of our tower where my condo unit is located. I've spent some time sitting in the sofa near the Christmas tree to just look at it when the lights are turned on. It does relax me a bit. #Christmas #ChristmasTree #ChristmasTreephotography

Hi fellow food trippers. Sharing with you one of my favorite chocolate brands. This is Tofiluk. It has been a long while since I was able to eat this. I used to buy this in Mercury Drug Store and then all of a sudden, I couldn't find any. Not sure if they stopped producing it or they stopped importing it. Couldn't find Tofiluk in any grocery or supermarket. Not even in shops that sell imported items. Anyway, glad that my local supplier of chocolate chip cookies and chocolate mallows is selling this. I got a box last week and I'm surprised I didn't eat it all in one sitting. Anyway, looking to buy another box soon when I get more orders of chocolate chip cookies and chocolate mallows. What's up fellow noisers? Been awhile since I made a post. Just been busy with the work that I have. Anyway, found a new favorite snack. This is hopia with custard cream and yema filling. So hopia is a flaky bread usually filled with pork, mung bean, or purple ya. These two variations are different since it has custard cream and yema. Best served when heated so that the custard cream and the yema filling is melted. Anyone else tried this? #foodtrip #hopia #snacks

Hi fellow noisers. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Been busy with work so I hardly get on here these past few weeks. I'm still working on my posting schedule. Anyway, just wanted to share one of he meals I had yesterday. It is shawarma rice. I usually have the traditional shawarma wrapped in pita bread. Really delicious and filling. Affordable too! This was my dessert earlier. Three pieces of strawberry cream cheese jolly pie and their new sundae flavor, chocolate hazelnut. The pies were good but wished there were more filling. The sundae was too sweet for my liking. Still not bad though over-all. Got to taste something new but it would be a while before I get some again. Good day fellow food trippers. Coming off an 18-hour fast, decided to have this popular Filipino comfort food - palabok to break my fast! Palabok is a noodle dish made from boiled rice sticks in rich shrimp sauce topped with shrimps, pork, crunchy pork skin rind, and chopped hard boiled egg. Hi fellow food trippers! Almost 3 weeks since I last made a post. Busy with the new work and been logging some serious minutes doing overtime. Anyway, one thing that keeps me going through work is good comfort food. I got two here in the photo attached to the post - chocolate mallows and haw flakes. Used to sell chocolate mallows as well as chocolate chip cookies plus an assortment of biscuits. Stopped when I got busy with my work then. Looking forward to selling these again for some extra cash. Am I the only one who eats the biscuit first and then proceeds to eat the mallows? Of course, there's also haw flakes. These sweet delights are made from haw berries and sugar. I can eat a whole pack in one sitting. Who pretends these are communion hosts when eating it? I know I do. Took longer than usual with the preparations so decided to just switch to a regular one. Was bummed about that one. Anyway, can't blame them. They are also struggling with their work. I'm glad that more and more people are able to work now. However, we are still lagging behind. Wrote about Chuchi a month ago. Sad to say that he has passed on the rainbow bridge and is now in dog heaven. He was already in my sister's room and about to sleep when he vomited. He did not have anything for dinner except chicken. We called the vet and tried to apply first aid until he can be brought to the clinic. Too bad that he did not made it. He is already 9 years old so in dog years using a calculator that I saw online he is around 52 years old. He is already considered a senior dog. I just hope that he will get unlimited tummy rubs in dog heaven. Please say a prayer for our dear Chuchi. It is much appreciated. Good day fellow noisers. Managed to train again the other day. Glad that gyms finally reopened. Hopefully, it stays that way for a long time. One of the things I include in my boxing training is heavy bag work. I get to practice my combinations, changing my stances, and footwork. This is also the same heavy bag where I get to practice my kicks when I do muay thai. I'm currently looking for nearby boxing gyms in my new place of work. I want to still be able to train continuously. My schedule is until 7:00pm so not many gyms are still open by that time so my plan is to train before coming in for work. #boxing #boxinggym

Good day fellow noisers. First time in a long while to be able to train again. Gyms only reopened this week so took the first chance I got to train. Managed to do so last Friday and it really felt good. Did some drills and also did some technical sparring with one of the other coaches. After that, I actually got to spar with another student. Wow! Timing is a bit off plus cardio isn't there but I managed to go through the 3 round spar and got the upper hand in all rounds. At least that was the general consensus of those who watched. Too bad there weren't any photos or videos. Anyway, I'm just happy to be able to box again. #boxing #spar #technicalsparring

Good after noon fellow noisers. Christmas is definitely in the air when we see these two favorites - bibinka and puto bumbong. After working out, one of the stalls selling these goodies was open so decided to grab one order for each to break my fast.
