One more time the Bitcoin Cash communityshowed how united and strong it is getting, on January 20th at 1:00 GMT the ReapersNFT were summoned and to the euphoria was so big which led them to even not take four hours in minting and the 10,000 units were all sold.
The whole community was euphoric and the various time zones that the world has didn't mean anything to wait for them, many peoples stayed awake to at least summon one to have as a souvenir, investment or whatever the destination they might want to give them out!
But what exactly are NFT Reapers?
ReapersNFT is a project brought to life by the illustrious Josh Ellithorpe and has as its creator and designer Chu, who lives in an Indian community in the United States of America.
Chu will use part generated by the sale of ReapersNFT to minimize the effects of suffering on his people, mostly due to those problems caused by the protest of Dakota Access Pipeline that caused a lot of environmental issues, also like everyone else suffering for so much uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is ravaging the world and lack of government assistance. It is, therefore, a project that, in addition to its fine treatment of quality and originality, will also serve for donation, which will, in a way, give relief to many people who need it in the reserve.
What are Reapers in general?
Reapers often appear in series like Supernatural and are beings that aid death and help maintain the natural order. They are often neutral beings, they do not agree with heaven, much less with hell or Purgatory, in short they only serve death as creatures of the supernatural.
As I mentioned above it was conceived by the hand of Josh Ellithorpe, better known as zquestz, and Chu who was its progenitor designer who carried out the work of materializing the ReapersNFT.
It is a collection of 10,000 unique Reapers units, each with their own characteristics which makes them very appreciated, which, in addition, has an quality image also graphics that are completely unique in the SmartBCH space. With the sold out, the project raised 500 BCH (at the price of the day it is more than $171,000) which may contribute to the same one day having a usecase, however there is still no news in this regard which may come to change at any time!
As expected, all NFTs have their own characteristics that set them apart from others and can also give them a sense of rarity.
What are the traits for?
Traits are very important for a project. Let's imagine, for example, a Ferrari, it has characteristics that make buyers and connoisseurs put them on a level of unique rarity. Its traits such as color, engine, the luxury involved in its construction as well as other attributes make the Ferrari have the value it has in the market today.
The only difference between an NFT and a Ferrari regarding characteristics is that one gains more value the more it gets classic (older and well conserved) on the market while the NFT gains intense value when the demand for rarity increases, that is, the fewer characteristics they have the greater will be its value in short time.
Returning to ReapersNFT, on the 20th of January (the day the collection was minted) the first big sale was also registered in the Oasis market where one ReapersNFT was sold for 25 BCH. Today one more biggest sale got registered and this time was 30 BCH for a special Reaper. It's a big sale for the owner and a big achievement for the new owner as he was left with an NFT that only exists 21 out of 10,000!
