Bitcoin Cash acceptance and adoption in the African continent will continue to raise and the growth of enthusiasts increase in the coming years, the community will be strong in many parts of the continent, but how I see this?
Easy, the Bitcoin (BTC) euphoria on the continent is slowing down, numbers shown to the world aren't what really happen on the terrain, the cost expensive blockchain registered on the Bitcoin is a big challenge to all Africa. People are willing to accept Bitcoin but aren't anymore looking for something expensive, something that can take more money that can afford to pay just to execute a transaction. Bitcoin have turned into a Gamble asset, with worldwide corporations putting money into it, it became speculative and all of that will be worse when the Wall Street step in, the more it will cost per coin it will be also more expensive to transact on the blockchain.
People can still following the masses, but soon very soon will embrace more and more Bitcoin Cash, that in fact is a better version and the particular mission is to make the asset accessible to all. Anyone can afford to hold Bitcoin Cash and spend it the way wanted, can pay bills using it without worries to spend more that can afford to pay.
If someone come to me and says in Africa it's normal to someone to spend more than $5 to pay to execute a transaction, neither physical or online is lying, no one pays those ridiculous fees and to prove that there are many factors to justify that. The average salary per person on the continent start from $53 (regions like Liberia, that money can be reduced to $17, mostly for people working on farms) and no way that coin can thrive in Africa.
Just imagine, $10 can pay for a whole family of Five meal for a 2/3 days on most metropolitan zones on the continent, so spending more just in fees can be very challenging when there is a coin where no transaction fees are trouble, is fast in payments, reliable and with a strong community working to show with benefits could come from holding the asset.
Holding Bitcoin Cash is freedom of spending, it gives value to peoples assets and best of all can be afforded by many living on the continent.
The growth and acceptance will be stronger and people will embrace it very positive, but all depends on efforts from anyone who believe in the project, one of them is me!
Let's together make it happen...
Thank you for sharing your perspectives on BCH! I hear Cardano (ADA) is making headway in Africa as well, can you share your opinions on that?
