Any content creator that praise for their work and is proud to have followers that appreciate his job are mostly to become successful in their writing adventures in any place or platform! read.cash have great content writers that I love to read and engage with their work, without any incentive attached to it, they produce astonishing and quality work that deserve to be watched and that gives value to the platform itself and as compensation this authors get rewarded with Upvotes for people who believe and feel pleasure reading their wonderful write up!
Recently on the platform I have been seeing an increase on incentives made by new authors in order to get subscribers to their profile and that remebered the story of Justin Sun, the TRON founder, who was accused to buy followers on the social network Twitter some time ago (10 months ago), and that didn't ended up nicely for him. More than 5,000 new accounts was created per day just to be able to follow his account, with that listing him as one of top followed men on Twitter, but that was a bad move as the new accounts "just benefited from his money" but never interacted with him, they just earned that money and vanished!
"Those accounts just earned money from that stupid move from Sun, made him be on news, make him look as " fool" and didn't actually increased anything to the social network".
Why I used that example from Justin Sun?!
Well, our platform is growing and with that we got new users, who want to reach their goals very fast, want to get subscribers to their account and with that give some incentive to accomplish their intents! I particularly don't have anything against that but I hope all together as a community could analyze that:
In order to get followers you promise something in return, if the members follow your account profile they earn something, for example they got paid $0,01 for that and you ask 100 people to do that
Assuming that you get 100 subscribers you end up sending $1, at the end that dollar you waste will not compensate that, because people in order to get that reward will build up new read.cash accounts, earn those pennies then leaving those new accounts also in the first opportunity unsubscribe from your profile. Those "ghost accounts" will be just a number on your profile that have nothing to add to your work.
Ask yourself, did it worth?!
Other hypothetic way is assuming that posting over and over again will add something to your points earn! We all know that the system algorithm just reward users using "random reward system" and no matter how many articles you publish if they are not following the parameters of the random reward .
With that behaviour (publishing over and over again) many will be spammed with notifications, will be forced to terminate the subscription with that profile.
A great author publish affordable content and in return grow his audience with hard work sharing things that actually matter, I will be glad to hear from you in the comments, and please keep doing your marvelous job and increase the platform exposure and make it one of the best blogging platforms on the crypto space.
We can do that!
...and you will also help the author collect more tips.
This is an awesome article, very well said. We don't need to pay people to follow us, if we are a good influencer or we can share some of our good insights then we deserve to be followed not because we promised them to give something in return if they followed us 🙂 I wish everyone will read your article. As for me those who give incentive , I already followed them because of their good articles. I didn't even participate.
