Every child of God needs to realize that our race on this earth is purposed to attain the Kingdom. Any journey that has no destination is useless. So mustn’t journey like a novice who doesn’t know what the future or journey entails, there most always be provision for extra oil.
This journey in and to the kingdom is With requirements- One of the major requirements is being a virgin. This is not been a virgin physical but it refers to the fact of being cleansed from defilement. God made provision for our salvation and rescue us from defilement. Several things can defile the life and journey of a man. Things like stealing, gossip, adultery, fornication, backbiting, hatred, blackmailing, false witness and so on
Becoming a virgin is not enough, as a Christ virgin, you needed the lamp – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It takes the light of the word of God to embark on the journey of the kingdom because the world is full of darkness. After being saved, one of the major tools to keep us walking in the path of salvation is the word of God. When a man is set on a journey and refused to make progress, apart from being stagnant for a period, he will be to retrogress with time.
Being the light of God bring you to progress today as you read these article. In the letter of Apostle Paul to the Ephesians Church, the scripture emphasized the need for the true word of God to girt your loins. All these ten virgins are goal-oriented, they have a common goal, looking forward to the arrival of the bridegroom. These prompted them to set out on a journey of purpose. The life of the kingdom is a life of expectations. Expectations give birth to manifestations.
Are you also expecting the bridegroom? Note that not one out of these ten virgins was without expectation. In this kingdom, the expectation is key to your journey. My God and my King, thank you for the hope and expectations that I have in you, as it is written in the scriptures, let all my expectations find manifestations in this very season.
My conclusion is as an individual you need to be extraordinarily careful with the way you journey in life. Mostly with our character because this will be revealed by crisis and emergency. Again when doors of opportunities are opened unto us we need to be extra careful and don’t be carried away with mere opportunity. Consider yourself to a car that will be active on the road all year long aside from its four tyres there must be an extra tyre in case there is a flat tyre, you can quickly replace and move on with your journey.

The mighty hand of the living God, rest upon me for greater speed and accomplishment in this very season and all through my journey in destiny. I receive every provision needed for the journey ahead. Amen
Yes, at all times in our Journey of Life, the extra oil will always light up the darkest part on our way to glory and honour. This Extra Oil is the presence did the Almighty God through His Word.
