This story is of 60's era.shabnam was the only child of her parents.her mother was a working woman.she had very few memories of her father though she was only child she was not at all arrogant instead she was a very bright student. in those days it was not very common for women to go out and work.shabnam was born in 1965. Her father was an affluent person of his town. The source of his income was rental property. Though they were financially sound her father was used to of adultery.

As shabnam was growing up into beautiful dusky beauty her father's money was being drained into his habit of adultery.

Shabnam cleared Sl exam. She was called for training in Dehradon but her mother denied as she wanted her only Daughter to get married and live a peaceful life.

like most of the children of those days Shabnam agreed to her mother's wish without arguing with her.

shabnam was engaged to a guy from the same community. He used to write shabnam letters on regular basis telling her how much he was mesmerized by her dusky beauty.Shabnam was not liking her flattering so she told her mother that she doesn't want to marry this guy. shabnam's mother discussed it with her sisters and brothers and they said that shabnam is saying this because u have spoiled her and she is a graduate in those days being graduate was a big achievement especially for a girl).

Shabnam was pressurized by her mother and she got married to the man she didn't like.

ON WEDDING NIGHT HER HUSBAND SAID THAT HE DIDN'T NEED DOWRY..IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF HER MOTHER WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM CASH TO EXPAND HIS BUSINESS .....
