Career or love?

This confusion of what to choose between career and love is often seen in youth because that's the prime stage where your career takes a shape and you fall in love too. Some choose their career to work for their dreams leaving behind their love and some choose love and compromise in their career.

What do elders say about this? its just, "Dear, don't fall in love, you won't be able to achieve in career as it holds you back. So, concentrate on your career now, you can fall in love later and once you are successful people are after you ".

Having a dream to achieve more and working for it is commendable. Advising to concentrate on that is appreciated. If someone says falling in love makes a set back in your career then I must say it's just a myth. Falling in love does not happen with a timetable set. If people come for you after you being successful then that's not real. Also, there is no such thing as true love or fake love because love itself is true. Its just people who are either true or fake.

The problem does not lie in falling in love, the problem lies in choosing whom you fall in love with. In general there is no right or wrong person. There are just people with few we feel comfortable and with few we don't. So it's just right or wrong person for you, it's choosing who suits you. The person who understands your dreams and aspirations, who supports you to accomplish the same and guides you throughout is the right person for you.

The fear that haunts your parents is not about you falling in love its all about you choosing the wrong person due to lack of maturity and decision making capacity. Differentiating between right or wrong person might seem to be difficult for you. The glimpses of a wrong person for you is him / her being jealous of you, not appreciating you, disrespecting you and blocking your way towards life.

When your parents say that you are too young to fall in love, just believe in them. Immature decisions leaves behind broken heart and pain. After all they want you to do good in life. You can have control over your dreams, hard work, career so concentrate on that. Love is something which you don't have a control over. So don't go in search of that. It happens naturally and effortlessly when its meant to happen.

So my dear friends it's not career or love. It's career and love. Life is all about balancing, go forward in your career with the support of your love and support them too. Love does make everyone grow and glow.
