A Short But A Blast Break
*Howdy everyone! How are you today? I hope you re all safe and sound in your respective houses.*
This pandemic brought us different kinds of emotions. We felt fear for the safety of our family and frustrated because we feel that we are being imprisoned in our houses. It's been a year already since this pandemic began. It's been a year also that we only see the four walls of our houses. Sometimes we want to breath from our daily routine. To escape out from stress and have a break from the things we used to do. A vacation is a best decision that we should do. But having a vacation nowadays is very hard.
Last month, my partner and I decided to visit my parents. Also I want to celebrate my birthday with them. Actually my birthday was on June but due to the strict policy of their place, their town was in ECQ ( Enhanced Commy Quarantine ), we decided to postponed my birthday celebration. On July 1, the implementation of ECQ has been lifted, so we decided to pursue our plan. I am also confident that their place is safe.
Friday morning of July 3, we woke up early to prepare our things. It take 2 to 3 hours to travel from our place to my parents. So, we made sure that our baby is full before we depart. Since we only used motorcycle, my partner made sure that the vehicle is in right condition for us to be safe while traveling. We departed from our house at 2 P.M and we arrived at 5 in the afternoon. My family welcomed us. And the most memorable moment for me the day we arrived was because of my father. If you want to know why, you can read it on my previous article with the title , Finally! A Father And Daughter Reconciliation. https://read.cash/@Yzza0625/finally-a-father-and-daughter-reconciliation-d2d7e694
The next morning, we prepared my post-simple birthday celebration. We decided to go on a swimming. Good thing, saturday is my sister's day off. She helped me prepared with the foods. She even pledged the cake for me. I requested my mother to make biko ( a Filipino rice cake ), since I was craving for it. My father and partner was the in-charge of the children. When we were finished, we brought our food in the coastline. Though it was raining but we still continued our swimming. We invited few neighbors to share with us. That was my daughter's first time to go swimming on the sea. I saw in her face that she enjoyed a lot while being on her tire. I was happy that she was not afraid if her father brought her in the deep part. Instead, she was just laughed and play on the water. It was very enjoyable moment for me. Watching my love ones having good time and relaxing.
The next morning, it was Sunday, my partner's sister came. She wanted to visit our place. When she arrived, my parents prepared meal for us. We shared our meal and had a good conversation. Then, my partner's sister went to the shore to see a beautiful view of the ocean. She was mesmerized by the view and she even joke that she wants to stay in that place.
In the afternoon, my partners' sister decided to visit her classmate. Her classmate live in the next town. It only took 30 minutes for us to arrive in their place. Her classmate owned a milktea store. So she let us tried their products. We were very happy because she gave it to us for free. Who wouldn't love free food right? After their cathing up moment, we went home at my parents house immediately. It was pouring that time and we decided to go home also. It was already 3 in the afternoon when we bid goodbye to my parents. We decided to went home on that day since there were no checkpoints during Sundays.
CLOSING NOTE
Though our break/vacation was short but we were still happy and we enjoyed it so much. We had a little paused from stress and free our mind just a little bit. Sometimes, we need to take a break to reboot our brain. It helps us recharge ourselves. So if you have a chance to have a break, take it. But don't forget to be careful. Make sure that you are safe while having a break.

Setting My Bourne
August 2, 2021
*“In life, the first thing you must do is decide what you really want. Weigh the costs and the results. Are the results worthy of the costs? Then make up your mind completely and go after your goal with all your might.”*
*-Alfred A. Montapert -*
Good day everyone! Yesterday I wasn't able to publish an article because I wasn't feeling well. Actually, I'm still not feeling well today because of my dysmenorrhea. But it's not as painful as yesterday, so I can manage to write. I have read various articles of my fellow writers about their achievements last months. I admit that after reading their works, it helped me to be more motivated to continue my journey here in this platform. They achieved their goals like reaching their 1BCH and more. I also have read different goals they are setting for this month. I came up to an idea that I should also set my goals.
Setting our goal is important thing that we can do to our life. It helps us to have direction in everything we aim. It keeps our drive to reach something. According to Elaine Houston, goals are the first step towards planning for the future, and play a fundamental role in the development of skills in various facets of life, from work to relationships and everything in between. Setting goals is our motivation in aiming our targets in life.
My Short Term Goals
My first goal for this month is to achieve at least 0.5 BCH. Is this possible? I don't know. But who knows right? Currently, I only accumulate 0.1 BCH since I'm just three weeks old in this platform. Thanks to Mr. Rusty for noticing and to those people who supported. Since I am not also active in noise cash, I decided to be active again. Maybe I'll just make new account because I forgot my password of my old one.
My next goal is to buy an eyeglasses. My eyes now needs an assistant. I could no longer drench on my phone because my eyes will hurt. Last day, I was vomiting and my eyes and head was in pain. My partner told me refrain using my phone for a day. But I was born hard-headed, so I did not listened. I decided to use my earnings this month to buy an eyeglasses for me.
My last short term goal is to increase my subscribers into 50 and sponsor other writers. Currently, as of writing I now have 39 subscribers. So maybe it's not impossible for me to reach 50 if I will continue interact other writers. Sponsoring other writer also is my way of passing the motivation and encouragement that other writers showed me since I joined this platform. I want to help other writers, especially the new ones, for them to be motivated to continue pursuing their goals just like when I was new here.
My Long Term Goal
If I can achieve my first 1 BCH, I want to buy laptop. Laptop nowadays is very essential especially in working. If I will be accepted by the job that I am applying now, this gadget would be very helpful to me. Also, it will be easy for me to publish my works here. Using my phone is not so convenient for me because there are other features that I want to use but cannot be found in my phone. Or maybe there is but I just don't know how to do it.😁
CLOSING NOTE
Setting our goal is important. But it also needs action for us to be able to reach our target. We should also need to work on our goal. Setting our goal without action is meaningless. Our goals would remain a dream if don't do anything to achieve it. Let us continue to keep our fire burning. 💪🔥

Siblings: Not By Blood But By Heart
***There are friends, there is family and then there are friends that become family.***
***- Unknown -***
July 31, 2021
A pleasant day everyone!
Yesterday, we celebrated the International Friendship Day. Honestly, I have no idea about that. Not until my friend @Janz mentioned me in her article. ( Thank you for the mentioned madam. So, I decided to write about my friends as my way of showing my gratitude to them.
Friendship plays vital role in our life. They are the brothers and sisters that we don't have. I believe that our friends are blessings from above. With them, we can share things that we can't share to our family. We can also express ourselves of what we are if are with them. Sometimes we even open to our friends than to our family. Our friends are the ones who accepted us without judgement. We may have different kinds of friends, but whatever their label, one thing is for sure, we considered them as FRIENDS.
**Today, I will share to you my different circle of friends**.
College Friends
Obviously, they are my friends when I was in college. They are the ones who helped me overcome my endeavor in college. We all know that college life is not easy. We always need someone whom we can share our daily struggles. I feel so blessed that I met them. Maybe without their help and encouragement, I cannot finished my baccalaureate degree. I'm very thankful that God gave me a circle of friends that I can lean on during my hard battle in college life. We may have different paths now because some were already married while others have their jobs in other places, but they are still in my heart. I'll be forever grateful that they became part of my life.
Cousin Friends
This circle of friends are my stress reliever when I'm at home. We are all cousins but we treated each other like siblings. When one of us has problem, we automatically helped each other. Just like when my cousin Ann needed to make a music video for her project in one of her subjects. We, her cousins, came to the rescue. Some of our cousins acted as her back up dancers while others as videographer. That was a very fun experience to us. This circle of friends of mine is always fun to be with. Though sometimes, the boys are overprotective. If we visit other places, no one could come to us girls because we always have bodyguards. That's why my parents will not worry if I'm with them. Also, if one of us have a baby, we automatically become the godparents of the child.😁
High School friends
Maybe all of us has great memories during our high school days. High school life is one of the stages of our life that is unforgettable. We had many exciting memories during this days. Mostly, this is when we experienced our first heartbreak, our first crush and other unforgettable memories. My high school friends are very dear to me. Every year, we always have get-together. We love catching up each other's lives. We also created group chats so we can keep in touch. What I love about my high school friends is they always visit me every time they vacationed in our place. Most of my high school friends went to different places to find their future. I am the only one who stuck in our place. They always remember me. I was the Cinderella in our group. Every time we have gatherings, they always fetched me in our house and there's always be one that will get me home.
CLOSING NOTE
Friends are special gift to us. We should cherish them for they are the ones who made our life more colorful and enjoyable. Memories with our friends is like a treasure that stays forever in heart and in our mind. We should be grateful that we have friends around us.

Seeing Ghost and Mythical Creatures: A Gift or A Curse?
***Ghosts are not necessarily seen. They can be sensed by "atmosphere", heard in phantom cries for help, screams, muffled conversations, laughter, footsteps, the playing of nostalgic music; they can alarm us by passing close on their galloping horses, terrify us when we wander into the thunderous cannon-roar and blast of conflict. We may catch their scent or smell--from the grossly pungent to the sweetness of summer flowers. Some departed spirits make contact in dreams; or appear to family members or close friends when on the point of death, struggling to reassure those they love in a final farewell.***
***- PAUL GATER -***
A pleasant day/night everyone. Today, after we finished working our chores, me and my partner had a little chit chat. We shared different stories until we came to his experience on his ghost encounters. Good thing he shared this stories in a broad daylight. I asked his permission if I could write his experiences here and he approved. So without further ado, I will also share to you his experiences. I'll just write based on what he shared.
**Marching Armies**
He was 4 years old when he experienced this. It was already 10:00 o'clock in the evening but he was still outside their house playing his toy trucks. His father was not home because he was in his neighbor's gambling house. His mother was inside in their house doing the dishes. He was so busy playing his toys when he felt that he need to stretch his back. He stood up and stretch his back while facing across the highway road. Then suddenly, he saw a group of armies marching towards their house. Their clothes or uniform was completely torn out and their eyes was red. The marching armies looked at him. He was terrified of what he saw. At that young age, he already knew about monsters and ghost because of what he saw in the movies. He quickly run towards his mother. While his body was trembling out of fear, he told his mother about what he saw. His mother was panicked and quickly checked outside. She saw nothing but she still believe that his son was telling the truth because he really looked scared.
An Elf's Shadow
There was a gathering in their house. They were celebrating an important occasion. So their house was so noisy out of the singing from karaoke. When the night came, they were all exhausted. But no matter how tired he was, he can't be able to sleep. He was moving from different spots trying to get a comfortable position. When he found a comfortable area, he lay down and looked at the glass window. Then suddenly he saw a shadow. The shadows form was like an elf. It has a hat, pointy ears and has a pointy footwear. It was tumbling back and forth. After a few tricks, it suddenly disappeared. He didn't mind what saw and went on his sleep.
An Old White Lady
It was night when his father told him to put the roaster in the chicken cage. That time stealing chicken was rampant in their place, so hos father wanted to make sure that his chickens were safe. While he was doing what he's been told, he accidentally glanced in an orange tree. Then he saw a lady wearing white clothes. Out of curiosity, he stared at the lady. Then he noticed that the lady was already old and it was floating. He hurriedly finished his task and went to his father. He told his father what he saw but his father didn't believe him. So, he went inside in their house and tried to forget what he saw.
**The Shadow**
He was already high school at this time. He decided to have a sleep over in his grandparents house. When his grandparents was already asleep, he decided to watch a movie. He watched a horror movie. He got scared of what he watched but he was so determined to finished the movie. The scene was so thrilled and horrific, thanks to the sound effects. While he his eyes was so focused on the TV screen, he felt that someone was at his back. He ignored it first, then suddenly he saw a shadow on floor passing by. He looked at his back but he found nothing. Out of fear, he decided to sleep and not to continue watching. When he was about to turn the TV off, a power interruption occurred. He hurriedly went to his bed and hide in his blanket.
The Man in the Bedroom
He was at his grandparents. His grandparents house has second floor where he owned on of the rooms. He was busy checking his new phone. He saw that his grandfather went on the first floor since it was already lunch time. When his phone's battery got low, he charged it and decided to join the lunch. When he went out from his room, he passed his grandparents room. The was was slightly opened and he saw a man fixing the blankets. He was confused because he thought that his grandfather was already at the table. He just ignored what he saw and went in the kitchen. When he got there, he saw his grandfather already eating his lunch. He asked his self who was that man in the bedroom. So, to make sure, he went back on the second floor and checked his grandparents room. But when he got there, he saw no one. The man was gone.
CLOSING NOTE
There you have it guys. I'm happy that we had this kind of moment with my partner. Though his story was creepy but I just counted the moment.
Thank you for reading.🥰

Come! Let's Imagine Things
***There are certain half-dreaming moods of mind in which we naturally steal away from noise and glare, and seek some quiet haunt where we may indulge our reveries and build our air castles undisturbed.***
***– Washington Irving -***
Do you like to imagine things? How far is your imagination? What do you feel when you imagine?
Each one of us likes to imagine things. Things that we wanted to do. According to George Bernard Shaw, imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last, you create what you will. Imagination is beautiful because in there you are the only master in your own world. You are the director and the actor in which you can chose what role you can play. When we were kids, we liked to imagined or dreamed things like superheroes, prince and princess living in a castle and etc. We became creative when we imagine. Sometimes, imagination also is our escape way from reality . It helps us changed our perceptions.
***Imagination is not only for kids. Even us, grown-ups like to imagine. I will share to you the common things that I like to imagine.***
**My Daughter's Future**
This one is very important to me. As a mother, I want to secure the future of my daughter. I want my daughter to have a beautiful life. So when I'm alone or free, I like to imagine what my daughter's future would be like. In my world of imagination, I see my daughter living happily in her dreams. I can see her beautiful and innocent while holding her diploma. Or sometimes I imagined that she already have her own house and car. Every time I do this, I can't help myself from smiling. I always wish that she will have a bright future. I want to see her happy with her life and being proud to us as her parents.
**My Dream House**
Even when I was young, I'm always dreaming to have a beautiful house. As a kid who grew from an unfortunate family, whose house was made of light materials like bamboos and straws, I always promised to myself that someday, I can have a big and beautiful house where my family can live peacefully and harmoniously. Every time I see some beautiful houses, I always tell myself that I want my house to be looked like that. Now, I always imagined what my future house looks like. Oftentimes, I imagined that my dream house is already built. Then, I can invite my family to stay with us. We celebrate different occasions together. We joyfully shared moments just like the old times. I can see my father and mother, sitting in the veranda sipping their tea or coffee while watching their grandchildren playing games. (Sigh ) What a beautiful sight that would be.
**My Partner's Proposal**
My partner always told me that he will do his proposal together with our daughter. He wants our daughter to be his accomplice in doing his proposal. He got that idea when he saw the marriage proposal of Zoren Legaspi to his wife Carmina Villaroel. Of course, I can't help myself from imagining from what he said.😁 In my imagination, I see him outside my office. He has flowers in his hands that he tries to hide at his back but it's still noticable. My co-workers will bring me outside. Then, my daughter will come out wearing a panda costume with a banner that has a message "Will You Marry Me?". Then my partner will kneel then open the box with a ring inside. And of course, I will say a big YES.☺️ But that is only my imagination. I will leave that thing to him. It's not a big deal to me though. What's important to me is we will love each other and our daughter. I will not pressure him.
CLOSING NOTE
Imagination is free. It is applicable to everyone. Everybody can activate their imagination if they wanted to. What's good in imagining is it is limitless and has no boundaries because it always surpasses reality. It is fun when we live in our imagination.
***How about you? What are the things that you imagine?***

Finally! A Father and Daughter Reconciliation
July 28, 2021
*What if there's a person who got mad at you? How are you going to fix it? Would you make the first move? Or just let him/her approach you first?*
A very hot day everyone! It's been a week since the weather here in our place is so hot. Even if you set your electric fan into level three, it doesn't still quench the hotness. My sweat keeps on falling and I already changed clothes three times as of this time. Arrggg! Why am I so hot? este Why is the weather so hot pala?
This morning, my sister called me. She asked me if I can visit again in our place. They want to do a post birthday celebration of my father. My father's birthday was on 21st of July but they hadn't had the chance to celebrate because of uncertain circumstances. My nephew got sick and they used the money for his check up. So, my sister decided to throw a simple celebration for his 72nd birthday. I also pledged for his cake It is the least I can do right now since I don't a job yet. Maybe soon if I'm lucky to be hired from the job that I am applying now, I can give them more. But now, I have to be thrifty first because I already have a child. I also made a promise to myself that I will repay the sacrifices of my parents even if I already have my own family. Hopefully, I can fulfill that promise while they are still with us.
***You may be wondering why my title is Father and Daughter Reconciliation. Now, let's start our story time.***
My father was a very strict person. Maybe because he was a soldier before. He was very tight when it comes to disciplining her children. His punishments was like in a military. I experienced being locked by a chain because I didn't listen to him not to cross on the floating cottage. But despite his rigid method of discipline, he also has a soft side. He would not be reassured when someone in the family falls ill. He will always check from time to time to make sure that we are already fine.
Every time I got an award from school, though he did not attend those ceremonies, I still see in his eyes that he was proud of me. When I graduated high school, he borrowed some money to our neighbor so that we can celebrate my graduation. When I was also in college, I know he was excited to see me holding my diploma. But everything changed because of my mistake. I got pregnant 4 months before our graduation. They didn't noticed that yet since my baby bump is small. One week after my graduation, I decided to tell them the truth. I had no problem with my mother. She accepted me right away. But my father was so disappointed. I can still remember his face when I confessed to them. From that day on, he became distant to me and he didn't talk to me anymore. So, I decided to stay in my partner's place.
***FASTFORWARD***
My daughter was already a year when I decided to visit my parents. Last month, I asked my partner if I can celebrate my birthday with my family. Good thing that he agreed. So we went to my parents house and we brought our daughter. When we arrived, my mother and sister welcomed us happily but my father was not around. I was afraid. I was thinking that maybe he was still mad at me. When he came from town, he saw my daughter. He hugged her with a beautiful smile on his face. I was so happy of what I saw. Then, he asked how was me being a parent. A tear fell down on my face. I thought that he will be forever mad at me. I hugged him and asked for forgiveness. He said that it's already in the past and he already forgave me. That was the most beautiful gift I received on my birthday. I feel ecstatic knowing that our relationship as father and daughter restored once again.
CLOSING NOTE
A family will always be a family. No matter what happens or what kind of problems may occur, the love of family will always remain. The love of our parents never easily fade. Maybe that was God's plan that I will celebrate my birthday in my parents place so that I can reconcile with my father.

Fears That I Have
July 27, 2021
***The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of unknown.***
***-H.P. Lovecraft***
A pleasant day everyone! Last day, I have read different articles about fear. The writers shared several things that they afraid of. Now, it's my turn to share to you the things that I'm afraid of.
Fear is inevitable. Everyone of us has different fears in life or things that we not comfortable with. The Psychology of Fear stated that fear is an emotion that alerts a person that he or she is in danger. It occurred if it is triggered by different stimuli. Now, I will share to you the top 3 things that I'm afraid of.
**Afraid of Height**
Yes, I'm an acrophobic person. I don't like heights. It made me feel dizzy and made me out of balance. When I was in high school, I was a member of a cheerleading dance group. Since I was a small girl, I am the one who always being lift up. It was okay for me if I just sit in the shoulder but not standing up. Then, there was one act that they wanted me to do. They wanted me to stand up in the shoulder and throw me side by side. When I tried, instead of falling myself at the side, I fell in front. I was so lucky that there was one guy who caught me. It happened not just once but many times. So, they decided not to do the act anymore.
I'm also not fond of riding a ferris wheels. I had a bad experience riding a ferris wheel so I decided that would be my first and last.😅
**Afraid of Snakes**
Many people are afraid of snakes. Fear of snakes is called Ophidiophobia. This fear is very common and I am not exempted to this. When I was 9 years old, my guy classmate, who was very naughty, teased me by throwing dead snakes. Though it was already dead but I was still very scared. I went home crying because he did not stopped teasing me. I was being absent by the class in the afternoon because I caught a fever at that time out of fear. My parents were so mad and they scolded my classmate. ( Buti nga sa kanya. ) Another unforgettable experience that I had with snakes was when I was 8 months pregnant. There was a celebration in the town, town fiesta. It was evening when we decided to watched an activity held in the town gymnasium. I was bored so I asked my partner to go home. We were riding our motorcycle. When we were our way home, we saw a big and long snake in the road. It covered the two lane of the road. My partner thought that it was already dead so he went near the snake. When we were near it slowly crawled across the other lane. I was so scared that I told my partner to move our motorcycle away from the snakes. But he didn't listened to me. He still followed the snake. I thought of jumping from the motorcycle and run away. I was already crying out fear. When we got home, I was still trembling and tomorrow after, I had a fever. ( Buti na lang at hindi ako nagkaanak bigla dahil sa takot. )
**Afraid of Earthquake**
I'm also afraid of earthquake. Maybe because I had a traumatic experience about earthquake. A little trembling of the ground, my knees were shaking already. Sometimes I became paranoid. Last week, we experienced an earthquake in our place. Though it was not strong but I was already afraid. The night after, I haven't gotten some sleep. I'm afraid that there will be another shaking of the ground. My mind was executing plan of what I am going to do if there will be an earthquake or where I am going to hide. My mind was very advanced.😅 It really scares me more when I knew that there is a big fault line near our place. It is located just right above our place.
CLOSING NOTE
Overcoming our fears is not easy. It needs a lot of courage and willingness to face our fears. They say the best way to get over our fear is to confront it.
This ends my article today. Hope you enjoy reading my work.

Lutang Moments Of Mine ( Floating Moments )
Howdy everyone!
Yesterday@OfficialGamboaLikeUs posted to have a challenge about lutang moments or floated moments. I decided to join not just because I'm out of topic to make but I find this challenge very fun. I was planning not to write or publish an article this day because in the morning my eyes was not feeling well that caused me to vomit. Maybe my eyes need a helping hand from now on which is an eyeglasses. I asked my friend @Janz how much is the cost of her eyeglasses and it is quite expensive. If I want to have one, I need to save first. My partner told me not to hold a phone today but I was born hard-headed, so here I am now making my article. ( *Sayang mga idea ko, baka mawala pa.:D )*
***Okay, enough for the chit chat, let us start this lutang moments or floated moments.***
**Do the Dishes**
It was evening. After we had our dinner, I told my partner that I'll do the dishes tonight. It was actually my partner who always do the dishes, but I was in the mood of washing plates at that night. While washing our plates, spoons, forks, glasses and others, my mind was busy imagining about the unfinished movie that I watched. I was so thrilled by the movie, but due to a power interruption, which is very consistent in our place, my thrilled was interfered. When I finished washing the dishes, I didn't notice that I brought the plate and spoon in the bedroom. My partner asked me what I am doing. Why did I bring the plate inside our bedroom. I was like "huh??? Then I noticed that I was holding a plate and spoon. He laughed at me very hard. I was like "grrrrrrr!!!" DORELCO it's your fault. Until now, we still laughed when we remember that moment.
****Yes Sir****
This happened when I was high school. Our teacher was explaining about the topic. That was our Mathematics subject. I don't know why but I don't really like this subject. ( T*aas ang kamay sa mga walang amor sa Math.😅 )* I was really looking at him trying to understand what he was saying. But my mind was too lazy to listened to the discussion. Too lazy to listen or can't understand the topic? ( *Parang both.haha* ) Our teacher continued his discussion. Then, assessment time came.
Teacher : What is the adjacent of line EF, Ms. Dupay?
Me : "Yes sir, I answered abruptly.
My classmates laughed. I didn't know why they laughed so I asked my seatmate. My answer was really out of the question. I was so embarrassed when my teacher said, Where was your mind roaming? OMG, lutang pa more.
**Roaming Around Without Brassiere**
My friends invited me to go swimming. I joined since I was bored that day. When we got to the place, we enjoyed our moment. It seemed like it's our holiday for we were busy making our school projects fot the past few days. We swam, laughed, took some pictures and had a little drinks. When 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon came, we decided to wander around the town. We were enjoying watching the view when my gay friend asked me if I did not wear bra. When I checked, I was so shocked because I didn't have anything under my blouse. I was so embarrassed because I already came different places in the town, and it's already late when I noticed that I didn't have a bra. Oh boy! What did I do to myself. And my good friends just laughed at me. I hurriedly looked for a comfort room and changed. Jeezz, that was so embarrassing.
**Detergent and Fabric Conditioner**
This just happened recently. I decided to wash our clothes since I am done washing my baby's clothes the other day. I prepared the washing machine when I noticed that we didn't have detergent and fabric conditioner in the washing area. So I went to the kitchen to get some detergent and fab con. But when I was already at the kitchen, I forgot what I am going to get. What I did was washed the dishes, clean the lavatory and swept the floor. When I was done cleaning the kitchen, I went outside in the swing to rest. When my partner saw me he asked if I'm done with my laundry. That's when I remember that I was going to wash our clothes.😅 But I was already tired so I asked my partner to do the laundry instead.
CLOSING NOTE
That's it guys. I still have many lutang moments to share but my eyes is already tired. I still have things to do also. I want to challenge my friends also @Janz , @Zhyne06 , @Murakamii.7 @JRamona20 and @ThisisGrace21 to join this challenge.

Insecurities In Me
Do you have insecurities in life? in your body? How does it affect you? What did you do to overcome those insecurities?
Good day folks. This day is a wistful day for me. When I woke up this morning, I suddenly had this melancholic mood. I don't understand why I had this feeling today. But I tried to ignore it. I worked my daily routine like taking care of my daughter, and do some household chores. When afternoon came, my daughter took her nap. I decided to write an article but nothing really came up my mind. So, I decided to take a bath to freshen up my mind. After taking my bath and changing clothes, I look up my reflection at the mirror. I stared myself and ask silently. How you doin self? What makes you lonely? I stood in front of the mirror for a couple of minutes. I looked at my face and my body. Then I realized that I already forgotten to take care of my body. Insecurities hit me. Some parts of my body that I used to be taken care of was been neglected.
Body insecurities is not easy to deal with. According to Jodi Jaspan, a therapist, insecurities are related to standards set by the people we interact with, such as our family, friends, and peers, and societal expectations that may be legitimate or perceived. Insecurity is a product of comparing ourselves to others. We tend to comply other people's standard. Maybe this is what happens to me now. I always minding what other people might say to my body.
My body insecurities because of motherhood.
Before I became a mother, I used to shape my eyebrows. Since I have a thick, messy eyebrows, I plucked it every once a week. But now, I forgot to take care of myself. The tiny hair above my lips became more visible. My face and skin became dry. Oftentimes, I forgot to apply lotions to moisturized my skin because I always prioritize the needs of my daughter. Motherhood really hits me hard that I fail to remember that I also have to take care of myself. I often go outside because I'm not confident of myself anymore. If there's a chance that I have to buy something in the store, I will cover my body. Good thing that we are required to wear mask this days. It helped me cover the insecurities in my face. But everytime I go outside, I cover my body with a towel to hide my fats in my belly ( bilbil sa tiyan ). I also have many stretch marks on my waist and in my thighs.
The worst insecurity that I have right now is my oxster. My oxster haven't recovered from my pregnancy. It became so dark. Before I got pregnant, my underarm was not so dark. I can wear sleeveless dresses and feel comfortable and confident with myself. But now, after I gave birth, I can't wear sleeveless dresses outside the house anymore. Every time I see my underarm on the mirror I feel so frustrated. I already watched videos on YouTube tutorials on how to whitens the underarm area. I only managed to follow the remedies that can be found at home. But nothing happened. There are other products they advised but I can't afford to buy those. I need to prioritize my child's needs first especially now that I have no job and we are only depending on my partners' mother.
CLOSING NOTE
Maybe it's time for me to accept the changes in my body. Time to embrace my flaws because it is part of my journey of motherhood. I know it is not easy but I will try my best to accept this changes in my body. I think I need more time to recover in this motherhood stage. I remember what Kisses Delavin said, being beautiful is knowing that you are imperfect.

Fond Memories of My Childhood Days
Greetings everyone! Today is windy day here in our place. Fo sure my laundry will dry fast as the wind blows. Good thing I decided to wash our clothes today. Though I did it because my partner is not feeling well so I am the one who did all the household chores. Okay, so much for that.
Yesterday I was tagged by @Janz to join the challenge that was initiated by @bmjc98 as she will celebrate her 1st anniversary in this platform. The challenge is very interesting since it will lead us back to our memories during childhood days. So, I decided to join for me to reminisce those fun or not-so fun memories that I had when I was a kid. What's more interesting in this challenge is that you will have a chance to receive a reward from bmjc98 if your entry will be lucky to be chosen by the random generator. So, why not give it a try diba?
Okay, time to start this Getting To Know You More Challenge: When I Was A Kid challenge. https://read.cash/@bmjc98/getting-to-know-you-more-challenge-when-i-was-a-kid-6c5daa12
When I was a kid I almost killed my sister.
You read it right. I almost killed her. Every Sunday, we used to have a picnic. We always had get-together with our neighbors and friends. That day the weather was so nice and the sea was very inviting. Young kid as I am, I immediately swam together with my friends. My sister was only 5 years old at that time and didn't know how to swim yet so she only stayed on the shallow part. She was so envy to us, so she called me and wanted me to bring her in the deep part. I didn't agree because I can't carry her since I was also thin. I left her and went to my friends who was swimming in the deep part of the sea. Out of my knowledge, she followed me. Good thing one of our neighbors saw her. She was shouting while pointing my sister. When I turned back, I saw my sister trying herself to grasp some air. I hurriedly swam back to where she was but our neighbor already rescued her. Our mother was so mad at me. I also blamed myself because I left her alone. I don't know if I can forgive myself if something happened to my sister.
When I a kid, I got bruised on my face because of bicycle accident.
It was Friday afternoon when my cousin picked me up from school with her mountain bicycle. When we were almost got home, the brake suddenly fell and it stocked on the rios. The bicycle turned upside down and my face was being brushed in the road. I injured my left arm and had some bruises on my cheeks. My cheeks got swollen. But despite of that, I still went to school on Monday. Some children called me monkey because of my swollen cheek but I just ignored them. But sometimes when I got annoyed, I just stared at them and made my eyes bigger.
When I was a kid, I used to play Dampa ( rubber band )
Dampa game is a game where two or more people will aim to move a stack of rubber bands pass a service line or off an edge. Each player will wager an agreed number of rubber bands and will determine who gets to go first by rock paper scissors ( Wiktionary ). This is the game that I used to play with boys. I was so good at this game. I collected hundred of rubber bands by just playing dampa. My mother was always mad and threatened me that she will cook all my rubber bands and feed it to me if I won't quit playing. So, I sold my rubber bands to my friends. It's better than being cooked by my mother.
When I was a kid, I was boyish.
I was always one of the boys when I was a kid. Most of my friends were boys. I only had few girl friends. I used to wear jersey shorts, large t-shirts and six-pocket shorts. I used to play games that are for boys such as weighted shuttlecock ( sipa in tagalaog, takyan in bisaya ), toy guns and guns that are made from bamboos. Sometimes my parents get mad at me. They wanted me to join games that for meant for the girls, but as hard headed as I am, I didn't listen. What can I do ? I love playing those games.

Missed Opportunities
*“Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them.”*
*-William Arthur Ward-*
Have you done something in the past that you regretted? Are you satisfied with the choices that you made? Do you think you made the right decision? If you are given a chance to go back in the past, will you change your choices or still choose the same?
They say opportunity only knock once. Once you ignore it, it will never come again. I guess they are wrong. In my own experience, there are lots of opportunities that came to my life. Opportunities that I wasted. In this writing, I will share to you the opportunities that I missed.
My Employers' Offer
On my first article entitled "Konting Silip ng Kahapon", I shared there that I worked as a housemaid in Manila. I was 19 at that time. That was also my first time working as housemaid. My experience was good. My boss and her family was also good to me. They even treat me as member of their family. After five months, my brother wanted me to send in college at Cebu. I agreed because I always wanted to finish college. So, I told my boss about it. My boss knew how I wanted to go to college. Then one day, that was Sunday actually, my boss and her husband wanted to talk me. They said that they don't want me to quit my job. They liked me because I am trustworthy. So, they offered me a scholarship. I can study college while working. They said that they will hire another housemaid to lessen my work for me to study. I was so confused at that time. Their offer is so good. But young as I am, I rejected their offer. I chose my brother's offer. What I was thinking at that time was if I choose my brother's offer, I won't be a working student. I know how hard to become a working student. But I chose wrong. My life was even harder when I was at Cebu. Then I decided to quit and went home. I realized that I made the wrong decision.
My Uncle's Offer
I think I was grade 5 at that time. My uncle, which is actually my father's uncle but he doesn't want me to call him lolo ( grandfather ), came from Canada. He had a vacation at that time. He was also looking for a child to adopt since he has only one child. Then he saw me. He asked my mother if he can adopt me. My mother was hesitant. So, he decided to talk to me and convinced me to go with him. When I got home from school, he called me to come to their house together with my mother. There, he discussed everything he planned about me. He promised to provide everything I need. His plan was very enticing but there was one that I didn't like. He wanted me take criminology course. He wanted me to become a policewoman. He said that he dreamed to have a policewoman or policeman child. I declined his offer. I told him that I wanted to become stewardess not a policewoman.
WRITER'S NOTE
Opportunity knocks once. If it comes to your door, grab it with your both hands and make the most out of it. If you will ask me if I feel regrets those opportunities that I missed ? I don't know. Maybe there's a part of me questioned my decision. But, there is also a part of me says that, if I didn't come up to those decisions, I will not be who I am today. I may missed those opportunities but there are other doors that opened for me. I still finished my studies and received the greatest blessing, which is my daughter.
It may frustrate us missing out opportunities that came to our life, but don't lose hope. As they say, "If the door is closed, there's a window open." Just move forward. Do not dwell on regrets because it will only pull you back. As what Mr. Max Slater said, if you keep your thoughts in the past, you will lock yourself down and prevent you from exploring and opening yourself to the opportunities that may be waiting for you. We can't undo the decisions that we had made. The best thing we can do is let our heart and mind open and move as we go forward with our lives. There's still more opportunities waiting for us ahead.
Thank you for reading. 😊
Let me extend my gratefulness to those who upvoted my previous article. Thank you so much for your support everyone. And an ending thanks too to all my sponsors. Godbless and keep safe.

Ghost Experience
Are you afraid of a ghost? What if you have an ability to see them? Will you talk to them or just pretend that you don't see them?
A blessed day to all of you!
I know some of you experienced seeing ghost or sometimes feel that there's a ghost around. But do we know if there is really a ghost? Some people said that if you feel chill in your spine or sudden temperature drop or sudden misbehavior of animals, there might be a presence of other entity around. Do you believe that? As for me, I don't know. But as I have browsed different articles to read, I happened to read about ghosts so, I decided to share my experiences too. Last night, I finished watching horror Korean movie. I can relate some scenes there and it brought me back those memories. Maybe this is also one of the motivations for me to write this topic. So, here I go.
Headless Man
It was evening of November, 2011. We were having our dinner at that time when suddenly the electricity was down. We continued our supper using candles as our light. I finished eating first. Our lavatory is separated from our dining area and the door was only short. Not that too short but if you will look outside, you can see people passing by. And by the way, the house was really not ours. It was only given to us since the owner already passed away and their children already live abroad. Let's continue. So, when I was about to put my plate in the sink, I happened to glance outside. It was so dark outside since there is no electricity but I saw a man. I can't clearly see him because of the dark but I'm sure it was a man. From the built of his body, it's obviously a man standing and facing our door. I was so curious so I stared at him trying to figure who he is. But then I realized he has no head. I only saw his body but there was no head. I hurriedly back to the dining and told my brother what I saw. I was trembling out of fear. Then, he went to our lavatory and checked but he saw nothing. He told me to stop playing around but I really wasn't. I know it was not an apparition.
A Black Lady
It was already dusk when I prepared for our dinner. We don't have stove. We use woods to make fire for us to cook our foods. When I was making fire, I saw an old woman wearing black clothes and black veil in my peripheral view. But I ignore her. I continued doing my chores. Evening came. After we eat, we decided to watch a movie. I was the one who was operating the DVD player. When I was waiting for the player to load, I saw someone was passing in the dining area. I asked my mother who was still in the dining area while the light was already off. Then she answered none. Everyone was already in the sala ( living room ) and others are already in their rooms. Then I realized that maybe it was something that is not like ours. So, I just let it passed by and I continued what I was doing.
Creepy Sound and Voice
It was Saturday afternoon. Dusk actually. Again, I was preparing our food for dinner at that time. I was alone in the house since all of them were in the shore. When I was doing my tasks, I heard a weird sound. It's like someone was tuning a radio trying to find a network. I searched where the sound came from. It was from our neighbors' house at the back. This house was already emptied many years ago. The caretaker of that house was my uncle. So, I thought it was him who operated the radio. The sound continued then after that, I heard a man's voice. He was like talking but I can't understand what he said. I went back from what I was doing and tried to ignore what I heard. Then my cousin came. I asked him if he happened to know where uncle is. Then he said that our uncle was also at the shore. Minutes after, our uncle came. I asked him if there are still appliances left in our neighbors' house. He answered yes but only the television left. Sunday morning came. I shared to my cousin what I heard on Saturday. We were talking then suddenly the sound came again. It was not just me who heard the sound that time but also my cousin. It creeped us out so we ran outside the house.
Few months later, one of my cousins were getting married. The side of the groom came and they let them stay in the empty house. One of the grooms' relative have her third eyes open. After the wedding, she shared what she saw and experience at the house they stayed in. She said that she saw a tall man and an old woman. Then she also shared to us that there was someone who was taking beside her near her ear. I told her what the sound like and she agreed with me. That day, I confirmed that what I saw and heard was real and not a mere illusion or apparition.
FINAL THOUGHT
Some people do not believe in ghost until they can witness one. There are other people also tries to study if ghost really do exist. But I know we have different beliefs and practices. So, I will not oblige you to believe me. What I have written above was just based on my experience only.
Thank you for reading.😊

Kinds of Siblings I Have
Good day everyone! Since I already participated different challenge this past few days, I decided to finish this article since it's been in my draft for a couple of days. I started this last week but I didn't finish it because I was hooked participating the games. This article is all about my siblings. I came up to this topic because I remembered the "Sibling Challenge" on Facebook. So, I decided to write about them.
Eldest Sibling ( The Good-Looking )
He was a male. Yes, you read it right. I use was because he already passed away when he was 18 years old. I was 12 years old when he died. Many people said that he was my boy version. He was tall. At the age of 18, he was already 6'ft or something. He was the tallest student in our school, actually. He was very talented. He can sing, dance and he can draw too. He was handsome too. Among of us, he was the only one who has a beautiful nose. ( I envy him for that ) As I have remember, as a brother, he was very responsible and loving. He was the one who helped me whenever I have assignments or projects in school. He always checked me at school and made sure that I am okay. So, when he died, I was so broken because I was so closed to him. But even though he's gone, I know he always guide me. How would I know that? Simply because every time when I'm depressed, or about to give up life, he showed in my dreams. It's like he's telling me to continue with my life and never give up. So, even when his gone, he will always in my heart. Oh gosh, I so miss him. It's so sad that I don't have pictures of him.
Second Sibling ( The Basketball Star )
A male again obviously. I met him when I was 16. He is living in my grandmother on my mother's side. He is also nice but we are not so close to each other. Maybe because, we didn't grow up together. We seldomly contacted to each other so, I don't know what are his talents or likes in life. I named hime "The Basketball Star" because as what I have observed on his social media, he is always posting basketball games. I think he is also a basketball member in their place. I'm really not sure about him because we seldomly see each other. He visited our place once and I visited their place not less than ten times too. But despite of that, I can still count on him whenever I need help.
Third Sibling ( The Business-Minded )
Like my second brother, I met her when I was 16. She was also living in my grandmother on my mother's side. She is a cool sister. My grandmother told me that ever since my sister was young, she loves to do small businesses, like selling "kakanin" in her school. Now, she already have her own "sari-sari store". Though she did not finished her college, she still manage to have her own income. Now that she have her own family, she can be able to help her husband financially.
Fourth Sibling ( The Chick Boy )
The reason I gave this name to him because he is absolutely a chickboy. He has so many girlfriends and I'm losing count on it. But as a brother, he is nice, joker, and helpful. He is also a kind of brother that seem like he doesn't care about you but the truth is he does. There was one time that I thought he didn't care that I had a boyfriend. We were both high school at that time. He was fourth year and I was also second year.I had my first boyfriend and I thought that he didn't mind because he didn't tell me also. But without my knowledge, he confronted the guy secretly. And I already know what he did when I broke up the guy. He is also my boy best friend. He share all his naughtiness to me and even his secrets. Whenever they have basketball games in other barangay, he let me come along. Though he just made me hold his belongings, it's okay with me. At least I can spot hot players too. Lol
Youngest Sibling ( The Spoiled But Sweet )
I think most of the youngest siblings are the spoiled one. Raise your hand if you agree with me. Lol . When we were little, we used to fight with each. Even my brothers don't like her because she's mean. Even she's at fault, our parents always sided her. But even she's spoiled by our parents, she's also sweet. She always remember our birthdays and have presents even if it's just simple. When we both in high school, we became close. We became accomplice in every naughtiness we made. We also shares secrets too. Now that she already have a child, I can say that she really changed a lot. She's not mean anymore. Instead, she became a loving mother to his child. And I'm very proud of her.
WRITER'S NOTE
Siblings are one of the people we value most. We have a bond that cannot be break off because we share the same blood with them. So, it is very important to acknowledge this lifelong relationship to our siblings. No matter what happens or even the world may turn upside down, your siblings remain your sibling. Nothing can change that. As what you have read, we have different characteristics but we accepted and love each other. Before I end this article, let me share this quote to you.
*"To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were, we know each other’s hearts, we share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.” – Clara Ortega*
P.S
Let me say thank to all of you. To those who upvoted my previous article. Thank you so much. And to all my sponsors, especially to the newest one Miss @Marinov , thank you mem for trusting me. I hope I can give justice for your trust. Godbless you all.

Fun Game: This or That Challenge
Good day fellas! Another day, another challenge to take. Two days ago, my friend @Zhyne06 tagged me about this This or That challenge. This challenge is also identical to "would you rather game". The only difference is in this challenge you only choose one word or phrase that you prefer whereas in would you rather challenge the choices are expressed in complete sentence. So I looked in the internet some questions. You can search it HERE. There are different types of questions and I decided to answer some hard question to challenge myself. ( *Pinahirapan ang sarili. )*
Okay, let's start.
**Smartest person in the world or richest person in the world?**
I'll choose the richest person in the world. Why? I see a lot of people striving for survival every day. And if I will be the richest person, I will utilize my money in helping my family and other people. As a citizen who belongs to a third-world country, I want to extend my hand to those who live in unfortunate life. Nowadays, our country badly needs someone who can hear the cry of other people out of hunger because of poverty. Poverty is a major problem in our place and I want to do something about it if I have this opportunity.
**See the future or change the past?**
When I was in college, I wanted to change my past. I wished that I had time machine to change some parts of my life in the past. But now, my mind changed. I realized that if I didn't undergo those hardships, I won't be able to become the person that I am right now. I won't be able to learned all the lessons that I went through. So now, I will choose to see the future so that if I can see something in my future that is not good, I can do something beforehand and change it before it happened.
**Poor and happy or rich and miserable?**
I think nobody wants to become miserable. So, I will choose poor but happy. It's just a matter of being contented with your life. What's the point of being rich if you are miserable. We were born in this world to be happy. As they say, true happiness can't be bought by money. If you are contented with your life or what you have, being rich won't matter anymore.
**Sight or sound?**
Okay, this is kinda hard. Both seeing and hearing are important to us. I love reading but I also love listening to music. But if I would to choose between the two, I'll go with sight. Why? You can read my answer in my previous article entitled " Would You Rather Answer These Questions ".
**Words or actions?**
Words without action is meaningless but actions without words is also confusing. So, I'm confused of the two.🤔But I have to choose. I guess I have to choose actions. ( Para coincide sila sa sight na pinili ko. ) I'm a visual person and I'm not really good with words.
**Painful truth or comforting lie**?
This is a very thought-provoking question. I would rather be hurt by telling me the truth than comforting with a lie. Being honest is important to me. It's okay to be hurt by telling the truth, at least you will know that person can be trusted. If we try to connect this to a relationship, being honest will make us reliable and trustworthy.
Enough for the hard questions.( *Nahihirapan na ako sa kalisud* 😅 ) Let's go to the easier ones.
**Free travel for one year or free lodging for five years?**
It would be lovely to have a free travel for one year. With that span of time, I can be able to visit the places that I wanted to go. For me, traveling can help me learn more about myself. It's also nice to meet different people. And if you travel, you will be relax and leaving the stresses of home.
**Winning the lottery or finding your soulmate**?
I think I already found my soulmate ( *Charoot* 😅 ) so I will choose winning the lottery. ( *Sana magkatotoo 🤞h*ehe ) Winning the lottery would be a big blessing. I can surely provide the needs and future of my daughter. Also, I can be able to build my dream house and of course help my family. But the problem here is I don't play lotto. So winning the lottery would be impossible for me.
**Shopping online or shopping in-store?**
I love shopping in-store than shopping online. In shopping in-store, you will surely know the quality of the item that you are going to buy. You can also check if there will be no damages. I once had a bad experience on shopping online. I ordered helmet and when it came, the windshield was damaged. I contacted the seller and told the damage and she said that she will replace it but until now there's nothing. But in this current situation that we are experiencing because of the pandemic, shopping online is the safest when it comes to shopping.
CLOSING LINES
A round of applause to me.👏 My entry is done. I really had fun answering this challenge. It made me know or learn deeper of what kind of a person I am. It also helped me understand what I want in my life and the preferences that I have. I know some of you may not agree of my answers but I'm just being honest in answering the challenge. I hope you had fun reading my entry and thank you for dropping by.
Again, an unending thanks to all who upvoted my previous article and to those who spent their time commenting and sharing their ideas too. Thank you so much. I cannot name you all but you know who you are.

Would You Rather Answer These Questions
This past few days, I have read different articles regarding this "would you rather challenge". Many writers here joined this said challenge, so I decided to make one. I find this challenge a great way to start a conversation or make an interaction with some other writers in a fun and interesting way. This is also a great way in knowing some writers because you will be able to get some interesting answers and probably learn a lot more from them. So, I search some random questions from the internet. You can get some questions HERE. https://conversationstartersworld.com/would-you-rather-questions/
So let's start answering this challenge.
Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak?
This is hard. We all know that both reading and speaking are important skills for us humans. But I think, I would rather lose my ability to speak than losing my ability to read. Why? Because for me, there are other way in communicating aside from speaking. We already have sign language. Mute people use this as their way of communication. We can also communicate through writing. But losing your ability to read is different. If a person knows how to read, he/she can be filled with knowledge and wisdom. He/She will not be labeled as illiterate person also. In reading, you can learn new things. You can explore places even you are just in your chair or bed. I guess, I chose reading than speaking because me myself is not good at speaking.
Would you rather have a golden voice or a silver tongue?
I like this one. I would rather have a golden voice than having a silver tongue because to be honest, I am a desperate singer.😅 I really love singing but unfortunately my voice doesn't cooperate with me.( *Kawawang bata* ). In our country, Philippines ( *Mabuhay*! ), we are known as "Land of Talented People" especially in singing. Many singers got out of poverty because of their golden voice like Lyca Garido, Marcelito Pomoy, Sarah Geronimo, KZ Tandingan and many more. If I also have golden voice, maybe I'll be one of them.
Would you rather have unlimited international first-class tickets or never have to pay for food at restaurants?
This question depends on the status of the person. If the person is rich, he would definitely choose to have unlimited international first-class tickets. But for a person like me, who needs to work hard first to have food in the table, I would definitely choose to never have to pay for food at restaurants. Also if I don't have to pay for the food, I can be able to save money and I will use it for other purposes. I would choose to be practical.
Would you rather be the first person to explore a planet or be the inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease?
I would choose the latter. Our family have history of cancer. Some of my relatives died from breast cancer, ovarian cancer and cancer of the blood. It would be great help if I can invent a drug that can cure this kind of disease, not just for my family but also those people who suffer from cancer.
Would you rather live without the internet or live without AC and heating?
This one is easy for me. Nowadays, internet is very important. From work to studying, this becomes the source of information and knowledge. I think everyone is already dependent on internet. Aside from that, I grew up from an unfortunate family. So, without air-conditioning is just a piece of cake for me. I can use fan or paper to keep me cool if the weather is hot.
Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere or be able to read minds?
It would be amazing if we have superpowers. But between the two, I would choose to be able to teleport anywhere. If I have this power, I can be able to go wherever I want to go. I no longer need to ride a boat or a plane. I will no longer be worried if there will be something unexpected accident happen like what if the ship sinks or the plane crashes. Also , I can visit places with hassle-free from travel documents.
Would you rather have a completely automated home or a self-driving car?
Can I have both? Having a completely automated home is totally a breeze. It would be so cool and awesome. But in order to have this kind of home, you have to be freakingly rich first. About this self-driving car, I think I need this one since I don't know how to drive. So yeah, I'll choose a self-driving car.
Would you rather be completely invisible for one day or be able to fly for one day?
Since I'm an acrophobic, afraid of heights, I will choose to be invisible for one day. If I have a chance to be invisible, I will do crazy things that I haven't done in my life. Since it's only for a day, I can't be able to go other places. So, I will only do crazy stuff. Like running in the street naked, dance whatever steps that will come in my head, pinch someone's nose or ears, and etc. It would be nice to have one day to escape from everyone's attention and be yourself.
Would you rather be beautiful/handsome but stupid or intelligent but ugly?
Thank you for that wonderful question. ( *Parang pageant lang haha* ) For me, I would rather be ugly but intelligent because intelligence is something that is incorruptible. No matter how high your age is, intelligence will still be there and will not fade. It will also not be taken by other people. And I do believe that beauty cannot be define by the outside appearance of a person. True beauty comes from within. Your heart will define your beauty. And I thank you.😅
FINAL THOUGHT
Answering this challenge made me think of what kind of person I am. It shows what I value most in my life. But aside from that, I'm having fun while answering this challenge. I also share the questions to my partner and I was amazed by his choices and explainations. Though there were some questions that we had different choices but it doesn't matter. We respect each other's choices.
So, there you have it guys. Thank you for reading my version of this challenge. But before I end my article, let me express my deeply thanks to all of you who supported me by upvoting and commenting my previous articles. I can't thank you enough. Godbless everyone and be safe always.

Fighting Against Postpartum Depression
Having a baby can bring different emotions especially to a first time mother. We can feel excitement and joy but we also feel fear and anxiety. But it can also result to something that we might not expect -deppression. It is mostly experienced to a new mom. According to Debra Fulghum Bruce, PhD, postpartum depression (PPD) is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in some women after giving birth.
Postpartum depression is not considered as character flaw or a weakness. This is just a product of giving birth. There are several signs of symptoms that a mother is experiencing from this postpartum depression. I will site some of those.
**Intense irritability and anger**
After I gave birth to my daughter, my emotions and attitude changed. I easily get irritated even in simple things and had short temper. I used to have long patience but now I easily get annoyed that becomes the reason of our fightings with my partner. Sometimes I can't control my anger that will lead me to throw things.
**Fear that you're not a good mother**
This is the feeling that I still have right now. I'm afraid I might not be a good mother to my daughter. Afraid that I can't be able to give all her needs. I have this fear that I might not perform my duties and responsibilities as a mother. When my daughter get sick, which is inevitable sometimes, I always asks myself what did I miss. And lastly, the fear that I can't give a bright future to my daughter.
**Thoughts of harming yourself or your baby**
Thank God I never thought of harming my baby. But harming myself, I thought of it multiple times. Every time that we had arguments with my partner, maybe out of anger, I harm myself. Sometimes, I banged my head against the wall, or slapped my own face, or pulled my own hair. The worst thing that I did in harming myself was I cut my legs with the nail clipper knife. Though the wound was not too deep but my partner was so afraid watching the blood that flows down on my legs.
**Inability to sleep (insomnia) or sleeping too much**
I already had insomnia even before I had a baby. But it gets worsened after I give birth. There were times that I can't have a sleep until morning even a little. I always rant to my partner about it. My eyebags were getting bigger and I had headaches.
**Depressed mood or severe mood swings**
Mood swings is identified as rapid changes in mood. I also experienced this one. I'm happy at one moment but after a few hours, my mood changed. My partner always complain this attitude of mine. But even me, I don't know why my mood changed easily. My mood is like a girl who always changed clothes.😁
**Excessive crying**
Since I became excessively sensitive, I easily cried even for a simple reason. There were also times that I can't hardly breathe because of crying. Watching sad videos made me cry too. One time, when Moira released her music video of Paubaya, I pathetically cried hard after watching. ( *Parang nakarelate kahit hindi naman ).*
CLOSING THOUGHT
Having this kind of depression is ponderous. It has complications if it is not treated. According to some medical experts, if postpartum left untreated, it can interfere with mother-child bonding and cause family problems. It also lasted for months or longer or sometimes become chronic depressive disorder if it remains untreated.
To those who suffers from postpartum depression, don't be ashamed. There are treatments for this. It is also good if you have someone to talk to ( a friend perhaps or your family ) to lighten what you feel. And as for me, I'm happy that I surpassed this depression ( thanks to my partner, friends and family ). The thing that I'm concerned about now is my excessive hair fall.
My warmest thanks to those who upvoted my previous article. It is very much appreciated. To my sponsors, thank you for trusting me. May God showers you more blessings.

A Fun Game to Play
As I had browsed some articles, I noticed that there are many writers here who joined and accepted the challenge called "Never Have I Ever". When I read their article, I find it amusing. So I decided to join this game even though I am not being tagged. I think this is a good way to know other writers. So without further adieu, let's start...
The source of the questions are here in this link : https://www.teenvogue.com/story/never-have-i-ever-questions
Never have I ever played spin the bottle.
I have. I played many times this spin the bottle game. But there was this one of those moments that I can't forget because I was being in a hot seat. We had a get together with my high school classmates and we played spin the bottle. When the bottle pointed at me, they asked me to choose between truth or dare. I decided to choose truth because I know if I choose dare, they will give me a difficult dare. And as coward as I am, I chose truth. I thought that they will just ask me like, who is your crush or who is favorite actors or something like that. But they asked me a very awkward question. Their question was "Do you still have feelings for *tooot* ( which was my ex obviously )? Maybe I will not find it awkward if that person was not there. But my ex was there with his new girlfriend and we only broke up for a month. And all of my classmates who joined the game knew that he was my first love. For Heaven's sake, why did they ask me that question. Of course, I did not answer the truth. I don't want to look pathetic in front of my ex and his new girlfriend. It's just a game anyway.😅
Never have I ever had a surprise party thrown for me.
Never have. I love surprising other people but I haven't tried being surprised. During college days, in our boarding house, I am one of the most active in surprising my boardmates birthday. I didn't mind if I can spend a little for the surprise party. I always love to see the faces of my boardmates being surprised. I don't know but I love the feeling if I have made a person happy. And speaking of my birthday, I'm already used not celebrating my natal day. So, it's fine for me. But to be honest, I always wonder what it feels like to be surprised.
Never have I ever snuck into a movie theater.
Never have. I haven't experience going to a movie theater yet. I've been to Cebu and Manila but I haven't had the chance to go to a movie theater. I can really say that my life was boring when I was working. My routine was only "home - work" and vice versa. I think I miss half of my life because of this.😅
Never have I ever kissed a friend's ex.
Naahhh. Never have. I respect my friends. Besides their ex or boyfriend's are not my type ( choosy si ate eh ). Kidding aside, I always believe that respect is one of the ingredients for the friendship to work. Respect each other to avoid conflicts.
Never have I ever smoked a cigarette.
I have. When I was younger, I used to drink alcohol. Maybe because I was being influenced by my friends. Most of my friends were boys and drinking alcohol was one of their habits. Of course boys love to smoke, though not all. And out of curiosity, I tried it. But I think there was only three or four times that I did that. I know the consequences if I let myself get addicted on smoking.
Never have I ever sang karaoke.
It's a big I HAVE. Singing in a karaoke is one of our bonding with my sister. Every Sunday, after attending mass, singing in a karaoke is what we love to do. Though we are not good singers but we don't care. 😅 It's not our problem if our neighbors don't like our voices. What matters for us is we're having fun.
Never have I ever stayed overnight in the hospital.
I have. I stayed overnight in the hospital because I was attending my cousin who suffered from a vehicular accident. That was also my first time riding in an ambulance. That was a very traumatic experience for us because two of my cousins got that accident. They were from Cebu and they only vacationed in our place. But we didn't expect that their happy vacation turned into tragic one. I don't want that experience to happen again. It's very traumatic.
**FINAL THOUGHT**
I really like this game because it made me remember some of my experiences in life. It's really good to look back to those memories, though there were some sad moments. But it made us what we are today and it became part of our lives. Those experiences also served as lessons as we continue to walk through life.
There you have it. I hope you enjoy reading my written work. I only get few questions because I'm running out of words.😁Till next time. God bless us all and be safe always.
Again, I want to extend my gratitude to those who upvoted my previous article. Thank you so much for the support guys. You keep me motivated to write more.

How Blessed She Is
Having a child is the greatest gift we could ever have. They can be our source of happiness and strength. In them, we can feel the love that's beyond imaginable. We will do everything for them to keep safe and happy. In this article, I will share to you how blessed my daughter is. Let's start from...
Having a loving father
Her father was known as a snob person, strict, and had some bad attitudes. Before, I was told that I should break up with him because he is not a good person. But I refused. I mean, why should I? Maybe they see him as bad person but for me, he is the nicest guy I have ever known. He is sweet, caring, thoughtful and lovable. When our baby was born, I can confirm that he is really a good person. He loves our baby so much. He is willing to learn and do everything for the sake of our baby. He is very overprotective to her. Though sometimes he became OA ( over acting ). He doesn't want other people kiss our baby for he is afraid that she might catch germs from them. And most of all, he is very hands-on to our baby. How lucky my daughter to have a father like him.
Having A Very Supportive Grandmother
My daughter is the first grandchild of their family. When she came to our lives, my partner said that his mother really changed. She is no longer always having a bad mood. I guess I understand her because she is the only one who supported her children. She was separated from her husband. But when she saw her grandchild, she became so happy. We can really see the happiness in her eyes. It seems like our daughter is her stress reliever. Every time she comes home from work, she always looks for our baby. They always have their everyday selfies together. She always bought something for her and always have "pasalubong". She really loves our daughter so much. I know our daughter will be spoiled by her.
Having a great great-grandmother
My daughter is the second great-grandchild of Mama Ising ( my partner's grandmother ). She is already 88 years old but she still very alive and cheerful. She also loves my daughter. She is very fond of my daughter especially now that my daughter already know how to do "mano", flying kiss and finger heart. We visit her often since her house is just near to us. Every time we visit her, she always hug her and sometimes give her money secretly. During special occasions, she always have gift to our daughter.
Having a Caring Aunties and Uncles
My daughter is so lucky to have such caring aunties and uncles. They always their to look and take care of her especially when I have something important to do. They never forget to give her gifts during special occasions like Christmas and birthday. I think, I only bought few dresses of my daughter because her aunts love to buy her dresses and toys.
FINAL THOUGHT
As a mother, I am so happy knowing that my daughter is surrounded by people who really love her. I am confident that she will grow as a good individual because aside from us, her parents, there are other people who will guide her as she grows. It very important for me to make sure that my daughter will grow as a good kid and a good citizen in the community. I think all parents want their children to grow like that.
Hey there 😊 This is my second article. It took me a couple of hours to finish this. I hope you will bear with me. Thank you reading and dropping by. I want to say thank you also to @Momentswithmatti , @ARTicLEE , @Janz and @Bloghound for the upvotes of my first article. Thank you also for the sponsorship. May God bless you for your kindness.
