Starting my onlinejobs.PH account.
Hello everyone. My article for today is all about my preparation for my freelancing career. As you can see on my previous article I want to start and prepare for it that's why I decided that whatever my learnings is I will share it here. It's like two birds hitting in one stone right? Lets just say that instead of taking down some note I will just write it here. And maybe it will also be helpful to others who also wants to start thier freelancing career.
Online jobs.ph is one of the platforms like Upwork and Fiver wherein you can build your portfolio and find freelancing jobs with the help of the skills that you indicate in your profile.
Signing up.
Ofcourse in every platform you need to sign up first. Fill out your basic information and then verify your email by confirming the link that the online jobs.ph sent to you.
There's also a message like this every time you will log in. It is warning from users because nowadays there's a lot of scammers online and the platform itself has no control on it especially when your transaction is outside the platform.
Creating a profile.
So basically the profile is all about you and all of your work experience and skills. I am not finished to fill all the information needed especially my experience because I only used my phone signing up. I also don't have any good photo for the profile picture and I will find one if I have time or I remember it.
As you can see , I just indicate my former designation which is data lift Auditor. My desired salary and my associate degree. I will change it again if I have time.
Proof.
As you can see I have 20 proof. I got 20 proof after I finished the three exam , the IQ test , English test and the other exam. I got 94 in IQ test , C2 meaning advanced or mastery in English test.
Usually the proof that a freelancer needs is 50 proof above and you can increase your proof by completing the profile with honesty. You need to upload an ID and a selfie holding your ID and connect your Facebook account to increase your proof but as of this moment I didn't do it yet.
Part of the profile is skill rating like you can see on the above screenshot. This is the meaning of the stars.
1 star is I can do it with an example
2 stars is I did it a few times
3 stars is I'm good at it.
As you can see I click 3 stars to data entry, excel and quality assurance because those skills were part of my job before and I can say that I am good at it.
2 stars for email management though I am also managing emails before but I admit I'm not good at it. I also experience to be an appointment settler before , HR assistant that's why I put 2 star and the rest of it were 1 star.
This is just a part of the set of skills and there's more like on writng , software and more.
Tomorrow maybe I will write an article about finding a job there or how to apply because I already viewed some job posting but didn't apply because I don't ha e cv yet.
Yen wish you all the best for your new journey.
