Food for our rabbit that can be found on our backyard. May 24, 2022 1:50 PM. Hello guys! Today is the 3rd day since the rabbits got home. It's a very new to us o taking good care of rabbits and we don't have any idea how to feed them. All we know is that they wants to eat carrots like we used to see on television. Last Sunday I gave some carrots to them because we have some carrots in the kitchen. We also change the position of thier cage from the side of our house from our backyard so that thier manure will land on the soil and I am planning to use it as fertilizer to the plants on our backyard. Yesterday , before I feed them I watch a YouTube videos about the edible leaves that can be eat by rabbits and I was surprised because there's a lot of leaves that can be eat by them and it can be found on our backyard.

First is the ***Paragis Grass***. There are few Paragis Grass on the backyard when I am forgetting to clean it. I was smiling yesterday because those grass will serve it's purpose now as the food for our rabbits. According to the video that I have watch I can give Paragis Grass everyday because it's one of the rabbits favorite. If in case the Paragis Grass in our backyard were already consumed then there's are still a lot on our neighborhood.

***Banana and Guava leaves***. As I watching the video I told myself seriously? Banana leaves? But ofcourse I believe them because they are also doing rabbit farming. We have some banana leaves and guava leaves in the backyard and I tried to give them a few leaves yesterday. I even gave some guava fruit and they love it haha but I don't know if it's allowed. @Eunoia is it okay to give them guava fruit? Hahaha.

***Oregano leaves.*** I was smiling while I gave this to them because they eating it fast like they are enjoying the oregano. Oregano leaves is good for the immune system of the rabbits so that they are protected from colds. You can gave it twice a week.

***Moringa leaves***. We have three trees of moringa leaves in the backyard and as of this moment the leaves are on thier sprouts season because my father cut the branches because it's rainy season. Moringa is good for female doe who are breastfeeding.

***Papaya leaves***. We have one papaya tree here but it's tall haha. I don't know if I will get some for our rabbits but they said it good as an antioxidant for rabbits so maybe I can give them once a week.

We also have some ***Camote tops.***

They look so cute especially when they are eating something and I really enjoyed watching them yesterday. Today since I cooked some chopsuey I set aside a few cabbage for them.
