Previous and Present About Me
Due to the absence of presence of mind and having no exact article and topic to discuss, I might as well talk a bit about myself while everyone is busy with crypto. 😁. I am bored with a stuffy nose and a mild headache so I stayed at home.
I will be talking here about my true self which pertains to my previous and present attitude.
First and foremost, I am not a perfect person. I am ill-tempered and do hit when I am angry. I am impatient, and I am not sweet.
These characters of mine define my negatives.
But in terms of motherhood, I have to be perfect, be patient and sweet. Whatever your opinions after reading this are very much welcome.
This started from the younger years of marriage until the present. When I gave birth to my eldest, I started to become sensitive in anything. In everything, I always find fault. From laundry, I don't like a single speck of stain and the dishes, I want it to spit and span. I hate cleaning again and again. I easily gets irritated. I also started comparing mine with others, from character and status and things and would end up disappointed because there are lots of things that are supposedly in my plans and achievements but were not accomplished.
I was becoming insecure with my status. Seeing my batchmates reached another step of achieving their goals while I am stucked with a baby and do the usual household chores of a housewife every day made me sombre.
One thing that added a negative attitude to me was my new neighbours. The moment I lived with my husband, whenever they were conversing about something, there is more negativity than positivity I can listen to. They gossip here and there and due to being innocent about the real world, it influenced me and became one of them.
One time that I was sitting alone cuddling my second baby. I pondered about how things will work out reasonably. There are a lot of random thoughts that disturbed my mind. Uncontentment and regrets began to grow from deep within. Lots of things I want to change but impossible to achieve. It made me stressed out that time until it gave way to tears I don't know why. I think it was what they call postpartum depression.
Then, with my strong will in not giving up and be beaten by stress, I prayed hard and poured my feelings out and meditated. When I came back to my self again. I noticed that I was not the same person I used to be. There are a lot of changes that my surroundings are affecting me.
Starting from being a talkative and jolly person, I became serious and hesitant and I lost my confidence. The way I'm doing good in school doesn't apply in these kinds of the neighbourhood. There are different types of them. I was always cautious not to do things in which my neighbour will find fault and flaws in me. I don't want to be the one to leave first when we are having group conversations because I thought I am their laughing stock or their topic with ill words.I arrived to that kind of thinking since I was with them during their buzz session.
At that moment after having deep thoughts, I realized it doesn't matter what others will assume of me as long as I know that I am working out with the right thing. I bear it in my mind that I will stick to being positive. I will not let others influence me especially negative ones. I will be filtering toxic individuals that come close to me. My environment has a lot of impact on my behaviour, mostly negative so I changed the kinds of people I usually talked to. I started little by little distancing myself from people whom I know don't uplift my morale and doesn't motivate me.
This time, I am more on my own. I realized that I alone can make myself succeed or fail. There are a lot of people around but neither of them controls the way you live. It is you who manipulate everything about yourself. People are only there to watch you succeed or applause when you are down in silence, such hypocritical people. True people celebrate with you and enlighten you to do more and encourage you to keep up and become better than before. They guide you to attain your goals completely and won't just congratulate you when you win once.
I realize that in this world, there are few golden apples from the piles of rotten ones. They are rare and you can be able to find them only with an Eagle's eyes.
Though I consider myself a person with few acquaintances, this kind of people I deemed are golden apples. They ran through the scrutiny of my eyes before I recognize them as my friends.
This motherhood has given me another step also to change and become the person I never expected to be. As I began to distance myself from toxic people, I began to grow into a better one. Though distancing doesn't mean I isolate myself, I listened to some of their discussions and evaluate them before letting them sink into my mind. I used their criticism to develop myself into someone with better awareness of what was wrong and right.
As I mentioned above, I am not perfect, so does everyone. I have a temper that explodes anytime, but because of my family, especially my children I have learned to hold it and trained myself to be reasonable in times of anger.
I am not a sweet person that can roll out from my tongue and slip out sweet words from my lips. But after having my children, slowly, saying "I love You" seems a piece of cake. Honestly, I am allergic to the 3 sweet words I mentioned. Saying it seems like having constipation😅. Yeah. But thanks to my Angels I was able to transform into another person, a much better person. I now can tell it to them every day. Though I don't guarantee that I am at my best but at least far better than the previous me.
So, instead of getting worried about what others would say, I just concentrate on how to live my own life together with my family, how to be a better person. Though sometimes we need other people in times of difficult situations, let's not rely on them every time because there is no other one who can help you but yourself alone.
Thank You for the time Reading...💕💕💕

Earning While Searching
Are you one of those using google since the internet was first introduced? Don't you know that as you are using it you are making the company wealthier by each day? Well, it's not impossible since it is the only gatekeeper of internet since the beginning. This time I am introducing another site with search engines where you can search and earn at the same time. It's just the same way you search in any search engines. The only difference is you are getting paid as you do your usual search activities.
It's a lot better than Google because aside from getting more favorable results, you can search privately. After all, it doesn't store and track your personal information unless you want to share it. It will soon replace Google because it is transparent and will be community-driven one.
What am I talking about?
I am talking about Presearch.
Presearch was founded by Colin Pape in 2017. This project was such an ambitious one like feeding yourself to a dragon's den. It will take a lot of courage to compete with one of the biggest gatekeepers of the internet but this new project ,as I learned the history of how the operation rapidly became a success, despite encountering a massive clash with Google, I was amazed by it. I think you will likewise be amazed with it too. I am a new user of it through the link from Publishox and i find it worth the time and even introduced it to my children and friends for their search activities. This is one way of slowly introducing crypto to them also specially the new ones.
What was Presearch anyway?
**Pr**esearch is an alternative, community-powered and Decentralized search engine powered by blockchain that rewards users when doing searches and other web activities using their browser. You are even rewarded for your contributions to the platform and your promotions made for the it as well.
It is community-powered because the community members are the ones who will make the platform spun through the promotions and other activities being made by the users in the community.
Decentralized because it was designed for decentralized technology and can't be manipulated by anyone alone. It is the community members who will be the ones who operate the new search engine that runs on node servers in the research community. This will start and open us to freedom from centralized sole and biggest search gatekeeper.
Difference From the Largest Top Search Engines
This platform is far more different from google. Why? Because Google alone gathers all the benefit from the user's activities. They harvest what you have sown. Despite it's being one giant that controls the largest of all searches gaining billions of dollars, users don't benefit from it.
One thing more, it also records your GPS location.
Unlike Presearch, aside from giving the users the chance to gain information using the web, they also give reward for their activities. Plus, you don't need to provide private information to the platform before you can use it, you can choose **wh**ether to share it or not.
Who can Use Presearch?
Well, everyone can be a user, provided that one must follow the regulations stated in the platform under their regulations and policies.
How will a user get rewarded?
A user will be rewarded with Presearch Tokens in every search he makes. A searcher can earn .25 to .5 PRE Tokens in every search using the platform. After reaching the 8 PRE tokens threshold or 32 searches a day, the reward system will reset after 24 hours 12 am-midnight (UTC). Any activities done before the reset upon reaching the limit will not be rewarded. You need to wait that 24 hours again for the reset period to be rewarded again.
How Rewarding Works
By the searches you made, you are being rewarded and, if you refer a new user through your link, an additional 25 PRE will be added to your account balance. Withdrawal is only available if you reached 1000 PRE, this is to minimize traffic and higher gas fees in the Etherium network.
In achieving rewards, searching without purpose just to have PRE tokens doesn't work on Presearch. Why? In every search you made, you are being graded. They call it the Reward Verification System. Your overall earned PRE tokens from the search reward will be totalled. Based on your searches you are being levelled and depending on your level, the equivalent level and percentage decide your eligible token withdraw.
So what should you do to have a higher level?
Do the usual way of searching in the platform's browser. Don't try to type any words out of purpose and just click on suggestions because it may affect your level.Your searches are being saved.See that your earned PRE is high but so is your level. Be honest.
Withdrawal
As I mentioned above, there should be 1000 PRE tokens you should earn before executing a withdrawal. But the eligible token for withdrawal is based on your level. So if you are being levelled #2 you can have 20% eligible tokens only to withdraw.
Below is the list of PRE level and it's a percentage and equivalent PRE token eligible for withdrawal.
PRE Level = Tokens eligible for withdrawal
Level 8–10: 100%
Level 7: 70%
Level 6: 60%
Level 5: 50%
Level 4: 40%
Level 3: 30%
Level 2: 20%
Level 1: 10%
Level 0: None (Members will retain their existing tokens and can still search, but will earn new PRE tokens until their PRE Level rises to Level 1 or above) -Based on Presearch medium.
You can use your earned tokens to Purchase and run an ads in the PRESEARCH platform or sell it to exchanges.
Withdrawals was updated On January 5 2021.
And it was to inform old users to check the new PRE smart contract to its new one. New list of services was updated so Presearchers must be careful in withdrawing their earned tokens.
Check this for complete info about new update for withdrawals.
New Smart contract:0xEC213F83defB583af3A000B1c0ada660b1902A0F
We have been under the dominance of Google for a long time. We are using the internet the way they designed it even it's against our will since there's no other way to gain resources from the net world.
This is the time for a change. I believe this newly developed seedling that is now sprouting will flourish and become a giant bean stalk in the coming years.
JOIN me in Presearch and earn PRE tokens with me,
Click this link and be rewarded 25 PRE as a new user.

In Sickness and in Joy
It's not about wedding. One must read the article first before you arrive with the conclusion about the title😅
Yesterday was a free day from the tasks on the farm. It happens that we have someone in the community who died a day after another. Yesterday was his burial and as a custom we stayed at home in respect for the bereaved family. Yes, the whole community satyed at home. We can go to town though but not on the farm.
Our funeral are categorized into two. One is the sad funeral while the other is the joyful one. You might wonder why?
It's like this, when somebody dies at a young age or middle aged, we treat it as a sad death because the death hasn't arrived late and the dead one didn't enjoyed his youthhood and life to its fullest. We mourn terribly with this kind of death.
When it is an elderly, we treat it as a happy farewell because they have already enjoyed their life during their younger days.
As a custom in our village, we don't go to the field after the burial. It was a long time belief that when someone dies in our village and after burial, you stubbornly went to your field, your crops will get infested with pest, will wither, or be destroyed with a calamity. This belief has been passed from generations to generations. And because people in our village are pagans, they connect any mischiefs and infestations in your farm to your past deeds during "tengaw" cultural lockdown or stay at home day. You see, we already have lockdowns in here before. 😊
However, these modern-day beliefs have been altered. When Christianity entered the community, there are some good changes while some lead to negative effects. In some instances, like this burial situations, though most of us remain in our homes, some continue their task on the farm as long as the farm is not visible to the townspeople or else you may hear criticism that says, "as if you do not die someday" "inconsiderate" . It is an insult to the bereaved family that one is busy with his task while they are doing the wake. Even the neighbors, for instance, there are carpenters who are working near the wake, they posponed the day of work until the funeral was over.
Nowadays, we put it in our mind that the dead one has no worries anymore. They don't bother what to eat the next day or what to do the following day, so why not we, who are still alive and faces the concerns and struggles of survival continue the usual task but in a respectful way? The reason is acceptable but as I mentioned above, we do it considerably.
In times of sickness, we visit the sick member of our community. It doesn't matter whether he is a relative or not.
In every situation where we all meet misfortune, we, people within the community are supporting each other, we share the burden in preparing foods for the visitors from other villages. From coffee and snacks to meals during the vigil until the burial, women- youth and mothers alternately distribute the food to those who attended the wake. Men prepared and collect firewood for cooking beforehand and butchered pigs for viand. So if one doesn't do the usual way of supporting the community by showing your presence of helping, don't expect that they would do the same to you 100%.
Whenever there is a community celebration, we celebrate together. In times of death, we mourn together But, I tell you, if your presence in any gathering is confirmed that you are not always active, people will judge you for it. However, they appreciate you more if you show your presence in times of difficulties than in times of joy. But don't worry, we are still good people at heart. We still care about our people. It's just the intensity of help depends on your actions and character towards your fellow in here as well. If you are good at getting along with others, "Pakikisama" in Filipino as it is called, they will treat you the same. It doesn't need a lot of effort to have friends here in our place, we are friendly individuals, you only need to pick the true one's. I only have few true friends which I can count on my fingers. Usual hypocrite people are everywhere so I only stick to originals🤣.
I believe that giving help can't be and should not be measured, but base on our culture that still runs in the community, those who love to help will receive help as well. Those who don't will accept less. It's just that simple. If somebody dies and you find fewer people in his/her vigil, that shows that the person has an unfavourable character. On the contrary, if you find many people who attended the wake, you will know that the dead person is a good one. A man needs not to be a known person in here. The first time I came into this place, my hometown, even the poorest one receives attention as long as you do good and not a worm in the community.
Same situation with Bayanihan in house construction in here. Many times I attended Bayanihan in construction of a new house, transferring of a house and pouring of cement in its flooring or roof. You can distinguish that the person who owns the house is a good person by looking at the number of people who come and attend the Bayanihan. It would only take few hours to finish the work. It is like investing in a good deed to harvest a good deed.
This images below I took during the bayanihan of my brother-in-law. I had no photos of funerals since it it not appropriate to take pictures while people are on grief.
We thought at first that few people will come because the location was above the community and people doesn't know the plan. But we were surprised as the sun began to rise, one by one,men came with their shovels while women with their goods came to attend the activity.
In deeper thinking, I believe this is the only kind of helping others that you have to expect to reap something in return. This situation differs from normal giving and helping, we believe in here that one will never know what would happen next. There's no man an island. We need others to help no matter what, especially in situations where there's no one by your side to help you. Though this is an action that breaks the saying "Give and Expect Nothing in Return". But if you are such a good giver and a good helper, there's no issue about it.😁

A Day Out
I was out of time to write these days. Just now I am making this quick note of our activity yesterday before I will face another task for the day and the following days. Farming ended in the other part of our mountain so now starts the farming in our "vabley" main part of the village.
It's an unexpected outing happened yesterday. I was about to accomplish a task in the farm when my 7 year old son suddenly came and told me to prepare for extra clothes for swimming. Since we don't use swimming suits in here, we prefer to use simple clothes in swimming. My sister in-law decided to call for a picnic out of the blue and told my son to inform me when he passed by their house.
I was hesitating at first because my plan for the day was already set. But my last child insisted because she heard the word swimming. Then my husband convinced me to join the picnic since it was long days of labor we expended during the farming season. At the end, everybody convinced me and I find myself preparing my kids clothes. I didn't take time to change mine since I was only to accompany my youngest to get rid of unforeseen accidents.
Actually it's been a long time I joined picnics and outings because whenever there is, I don't want to join because It's either I wasn't available or I recently gave birth to my youngest. So, after seeing my children being excited, I threw my hesitation at the moment.
It was just a short trip and I realized that since the Enhanced Community Quarantine or lock down was implemented, my youngest hadn't tried to ride in any vehicles again. I always took her to town before the pandemic and she enjoyed the views outside the jeepney. Now I was glad I didn't decline the invitation. There's nothing special in the trip but the giggles and laughter of the children is pleasant to hear.
I was surprised to find numerous men in the picnic site. They were towns mate that came home from the mining site where my sister-in-law's husband worked. They came to join the picnic.Well, it is a wonderful moment for them to fish in the river once they come home. From a lengthy months they stay away from home , they missed the taste of the native flesh from our waters. It's just sad that there were few fishes in the river we were presently having the picnic compared to the river in our own village. The water was being fished by towns people everyday since it was public and lies between our territory and the main town so it explains why the fishes became scarce.
Kids are enjoying catching crabs since they don't know how to swim yet. I am watching them in the riverbank.
In between the swimming activities, we enjoyed the food being prepared by my sister-in-law.In respect for the holy week, all viands are fishes like milkfish, tilapia, eel, and mudfish. I haven' t took the photo since I was in the other side of the river when the lunch was ready and served. Even the "pancit bihon" is simply prepared with only baguio beans but was heartily consumed by the whole family. Our native fishes was still being caught by some of our our men so it's a minus from the menu at that moment.
Later, my son messaged me that he wanted to come and asked where our location is. I messaged him back and instructed him to bring the tire(interior) because I forgot to bring it.
Now the little kids was guided by my eldest daughter in the water using the tire.
On the mid afternoon, our uncle who owns the little house alongside the river we stayed told us to gather water cress in his man-made pool in the riverbank located few meters away from the house. My sister in-law was excited and we went together.
It's nice to harvest the fresh vegetable by yourself. The water is clean, so is this leafy one. We divided it at home afterwards.
Today it is our viand.
The end of the outing. 😊
That's all for today... Thanks for reading.

Deep inside I know
This just a fictional story. Any characters doesn't have any connection with real identities and situations are just coincidence.
Gertu was a poor widow left with two young children with ages 8, Eve and Ruffa,5 from his late husband. The eldest was not from her womb but from another woman who had relation with his husband before their marriage. However, she treats the children with the same treatment. She struggled to support her children as much as she could.
The woman accepts laundries from their wealthy neighbour and has to endure the body pains from the entire day of washing loads. She doesn't mind having any new clothes or any accessories just to have something to feed the poor children and their educational needs.
As the children grew older, Gertu began to change in her treatment of Evej. She gave more of her attention to Ruffa and was buying her new stuff especially when the child requested it. When Eve tries to ask something for her too, Gertu scolded her, telling her that it's her sisters turn to have new stuff since their late father bought something for her when he was alive and when she was young.
It happens many times, Gertu began to think why would she suffer in raising a child she doesn't own and that was abandoned by her mother in her charge. But apart from it, something in her heart is rebelling.
Nonetheless, Eve doesn't mind the changes at all. She continued with her tasks at home and in school, though she noticed her stepmother's treatment turns odd.
In school, her bully classmates noticed her old school uniform that was given by their neighbour and her very old shoes that it's sole might give way anytime and they teased her. Fortunately, Eve has good friends that are loyal to her and comforts her when she is being bullied and when she feels lonely and defended her and drove bullies away from their friend.
Eve has excellent marks in school. She remained on top of the ranks and never flunked . But when ever she gives her report card to her mom, she was only told to leave the card on the corner and receives no appreciation. She even needs to remind her mom to sign the card how many times and would earn scolding in the end before signing it.
Year's passed and Eve has to enter college but her stepmother told her she can't send her to school. If she wanted to pursue her studies she needs to find remedy of her own.
On the other hand, Gertu keeps on pushing Ruffa to be responsible in her studies. She always fails in class and always drops out when she wanted to.She remained in highschool as an irregular student too old for her year level.Ruffa always asks money from their mom for something about school projects, tuitions and etc. and would throw hurtful words to her mom when her request was not granted. The money she recieved wasn't used in school projects or tuition fees but on bad peers and even vices in which her mom lately discovered.
Years passed quickly and Eve finnished her studies by the help of generous sponsors. Aside from that, she is a working student and doesn't rely on the sponsorships and scholarships alone that was granted to her. Her mother never attended on her graduations.
After her graduation, she was offered jobs from different firms. In a short time, she saved enough for herself and decided to move to a room of her own.
One time, she received an emergency call from a hospital. It was their neighbor who called for her help because her stepmother was brought to the hospital after finding her collapsed on the floor of their house. With no hesitation she picked her things up and proceeded to the infirmary.
Her stepmother was asleep when she arrived. A frail woman too young for having wrinkles all over. Pain was painted on her face. She talked to her neighbor about her mom's situation and to the attending physician. She learned that the woman she treated as her mother was suffering from acute pneumonia and would fall into more complicated lung problem anytime soon if not medicated early as possible. She agreed to pay for the expenses for her mothers medication. When her stepmom opened her eyes, she was surprised to find Eve **in**front of her of all people.
She asked Eve what is she doing in her room. Eve explained the situation and felt pity on her step mom. The old woman shed tears and can't meet Eve's eyes. She was ashamed of the bad treatment she gave to Eve.
After the unprepared meeting, Gertu later asked Eve what made her help her despite the unpleasant past.
Eve smiled, there was never an unpleasant past, everything that happened was a mere circumstances wherein they were both facing difficult challenges. She understands why her stepmom became rude. Eve added that all she can remember are the good memories that they both share with the woman in front of her.
Eve elaborated that she might be in the street begging for food if not of her stepmoms kindness. "You were there when I needed a mother even though I'm not your own blood. There was never a time when we were out food in our table. Won't I be thankful for it? There was never a time when my backpack was empty with my lunchbox.Though my shoes is old and seems to give way its sole but it didn't, because you tried your best to sew it with your own hands. My clothes were never new but I know that you have to wash loads of laundry before they were handed to me. I knew it because I washed laundry with you.The wealthy neighbor you are telling me that gave you the clothes for me never gave us anything for free. "
You never attended my graduation because it's the time you doubled the tasks you were accepting just to have a pleasant dinner when I come home. You never told me but I can sense it. I remember you always did it during my elementary years."
"But i gave more of my attention to Ruffa."Gertu guiltily replied between sobs.
" I understand my younger sister acts differently because she had never felt having a father unlike me though i only experience it in a short time. She can't have your time because you were busy finding different tasks in order to have something to feed us.Now tell me mother, what is unpleasant in that?, Won't I be thankful for it.
Never in her life Gertu expected she raised an angel. Eve hugged her to stop her from crying.
Days after the medication, Eve took her stepmother to her own house. She then warned Ruffa to be serious in her studies or else she will be left alone. Years passed and the trio lived happily.
The end.
Sometimes in times of pain and suffering there always what they call a silver lining.
If you try to dig deeper, those struggles will bring out goodness. If you are still struggling at the moment, that means you haven't digged it out yet. Keep trying. ❣️

My journey in Juugle.net
Upon reading on WAIFU's and NFT's on noise.cash and read.cash I didn't give much of my attention because I though it was complicated and I would be having trouble in following it without a tutor. Sometimes its easy to follow when i am taught step by step in chat than from reading alone. 😅 I'm such a slow learner you know. ✌️Readcash users such as @**Ruffa** **a**nd @**Jane** have it on their articles, so with @Constant1995. https://read.cash/@Ruffa/not-your-typical-waifu-nft-in-your-favorite-2d-girl-98005341 https://read.cash/@Jane/grow-your-bitcoin-cash-collect-waifus-on-the-juungle-2ff8e748
Not after this few days after my free time from the farm works I took a time to analyze their post and tried to open an account in **Juugle.net**. https://www.juungle.net/#/
My first experience is not that good at first as i started my journey.
I learned that Waifu is a term for a *fictional character, usually in anime or related media, that someone has great, and sometimes romantic, affection for.*
When I opened my account and the marketplace, i was amazed by the prices indicated in each Waifu. Woah! so expensive when compared to ruffa and jane's purchases. Such pricey girlfriends😅. I only saw cheaper ones like this one.
So as a trial, i tried to purchase one NFT.
I clicked the image and been confused at first what to do next because SLP is showing below the image. What I did was I read back again the articles of Ruffa and Jane. So i learned that the slp address shown was your address in the Juugle site. After clicking the button "confirm the purchase", a bitcoincash address shows in replace of the slp address. I copied it and went to my bitcoin.com wallet and pasted it after clicking the sent button.
I typed the bch amount according to the price of the NFT shown in my Juugle account then sent it and waited for it's confirmation on the Juugle site for the success of my purchase. Unfortunately, as I waited for the confirmation, the time ended and my bch hasn't arrived though it was successful in my bitcom.com wallet.
After reading the failed purchase confirmation, i waited for the refund for minutes but it didn't arrive.I was dismayed, but I tried again, for the second time but like the first one, it was a failure. I gave up after that. Thinking I was unlucky in detoken because it doesn't accept my identity and now same in juuggle, i can't make a purchase. 😅
This morning, I opened my read. cash and the last article I was left open last night was still on the screen. It was Ruffa's article about Waifu and I was tempted to try again for the last time. I thought maybe i will be lucky this time. I retried the process and searched the lowest price as I read in Jane's article when she choose the lowest in which I can't find during my first try because the recent prices was shown not the lowest price. I navigated the site and it is just over the right top😅.
When i was done with sending my bch in NFT, guess what, it was a success!
I was happy and a bit excited but i was controlling it because it might be a fake success😅. I searched different Waifu's this time and again I made a purchase. It was a success again!
Sometimes you need to commit mistakes in order to learn well, so with deep analyzation.
Now, i explored my account and searched for my assets and surprise! I saw my failed purchases on the top and second one! It was not a failed purchase after all! 😆. So that's why there was no refund in my wallet because it was in my juugle wallet already.
I still don't know whats the difference between the NFT images, the WAIFUsand the one I first purchased but all I know is they have value. You can choose different kinds of NFTs from Zombies and beautiful WAIFUS and other collections. For now I have 7 assets in which one NFT is in the market for sale for trial. I have 4 waifus to hodl and 3 zombies. So i will just wait for the right time to sell it.
So thats all for my Juugle journey. 😊
Thanks for reading guys.!

War Against Mud
I am a farmer. I am proud to be one. It was my ancestors blood and will run through my veins until my hair turns grey.
As of writing, my legs are a bit numb now. The planting season is in its high peak so I need to get offline for couple of weeks. The first and the second until the third day it hurts to move even a little. It makes me uncomfortable but as I go climb and walk the path higher that leads to our ricefields, my body was used to it now. It looks like it's my freeday yesterday but i wasn't able to finnish my article so I was determined to finnish it today😅. The last planting was done the other day on my mother in-law's. So i was still on our bed even in a high daylight.
The first day. **Clearing**
When I arrived to the site where I need to start the task, it looks so tiring already🤣. Everywhere where full of dried and fresh vegetations that needs clearing. I was alone that time so I only finnished a portion of the task.A day after it was more easy because I was accompanied by my son while my husband was with me the third day in another site. This is the the first part of the process of farming. We call it slash/cut and burn. It should be rice stalks only to be cut down but as the years go by, different kinds of weeds grew everywhere in the field especially when it was always dried up even after the planting season where the water is scarce. Weeds grow from seeds that was previously blown by the wind. If it won't get cut, it competes the growth of the rice that was planted . We don't use herbicides or any pesticides in here during earlier years but now few farmers learned to use it from the people who tried to live in the lowlands and introduced it in here instead of clearing manually despite the warnings of the Agriculture Office of the harm it may cause to the soil. A mower was a big help also in cutting the weeds in the dried mud so i only have to concentrate on the mud dikes and the stone support on its side which is double my height😅.
Though the activity was tiresome, i feel good after seing our accomplishment. The field that looks like a forest, it's a real ricefield now. 🤣 I wasn't able to take the photo of my accomplishment as I was hurrying to go home, only when it was already plowed.
We don't own hectares of land in here but only "vaneng" meaning one ricefield surrounded by mud dike is considered a wealth of a farmer. If he owns more or larger ricefields, he is considered "kadangyan" or a wealthy one, wealthy of rice, considering the rice he may able to harvest during harvest season.
The following days became more tiring. We need to pluck rice seedlings from it's seedbed. Bundles after bundles we need to collect for planting and would carry it over our head in a sack. Worst when you need to bring the seedling hundred meters away from it's seedbed. When I tried to carry a full sack, i had a back ache 😅 since it's been a long time when I carried heavy loads on my head.
Planting begin. We call it war against mud. Maybe you can understand why It's called like that right?😁 You see, planting in our community differs from lowlands. We replant the seedlings one by one or individually so from plucking from its seedbed we need to select the rubost ones unlike the lowlanders that they uprooted everything and **clamp** in their hands and plant it in the mud.
We need to do it individualy because the variety of rice in here differ also from the other ussual varieties. We must aim for healthy grains and a bigger stalk so that it would be easier to harvest during harvest season using our manual harvesting tool. Planting it individualy will result to a good size we want to achieve plus the fertilizer we add to the ricefield. Check my **link** on how we harvest our rice in here. https://read.cash/@Xzeon/to-the-fields-we-go-b0a08b6c
In plowing the field, the farming was modernized. Males used "kuliglig", a machinery use in plowing ones field. It became a lot more easier than the previous years. It can finnish a lot of ricefields in a day. There are still some individuals who use the old method using the buffallo.
I met one during my transport of seedling from its seedbed on my way back to the field where I left my "little" companions, the children, my daughter and her cousins the other day.The difference between the two ways of plowing was the absence of bayanihan in the old method, while flocks of males was present in the machine method who worked together in carrying the parts of the machine from one ricefield to another and also by operating it alternately among the group.
#In addition to the information I stated above, we inherit farming from our ancestors and was passed from generations to generations. It was one of our main source of food for survival.
A woman who marry will have a "gift", a piece of ricefield from the males' party. Another is from her own parents. An heirloom as it may serve as a piece of their property that will be passed from generation to generation. In addition to that is a house and lot from your parents where you start to settle your own family if you were a last born or firstborn. It may change depending on some situations though. Lucky for those who meet a nice family but for some, you recieve nothing especially when they don't want you as a part of a family member. Fortunately, only weathy family do that mostly. I only heared few stories from my mother-in-law about that. I hope you enjoyed my farm life journey.
Thanks for reading.
From time to time I was checking on you but you weren't visiting me since the last time. Come home now rusty. 😔
Kitchen Time
I was supposed to bake something for my little girl, but being busy in the little farm for preparation of rice seedlings,I wasn't able to go to town and buy the needed ingredients for the cake.
Then a call from the heads requesting us to do noodle processing because they will come and monitor our activity was added to my task.I made an article about it **here**. https://read.cash/@Xzeon/vegetable-noodle-making-ed86c9ab
Unfortunately when we were about to start the proccessing, the fuse in the fuse box was faulty. We found out that only one works but it can't start our machineries. To follow safety precautions, we posponed the activity since there's no available reserve fuse, I had to take home the squash that was already cooked and mashed, i wasn't able to use the blender too. I thought of using the squash into something when i got home.
When I arrived home, i cooked the mashed squash for the filling of my planned recipe. Since I don't have butter, I use corn oil then I poured the condensed milk and waited it to become thick then i poured the mashed squash mixed with 1 eggyolk.I should have added cream and a little corstarch because the squash is a bit watery, but sadly i don't have it. Luckily, it went perfectly dry but it took too long in the fire to achieve it's dryness.
Now checking on my stocks again, there's an evaporated milk i mentioned and a baking powder, and sugar but no flour😅. I have no choice but to request my son to run an errand to buy a single kilo of all purpose flour in the mini store. I have to bear with the additional price though.😅
After washing the utensils and as I was preheating the oven which releases an unnusual smell of a burning iron or what since it's new and I just got it as a free kit from a training course, I started to prepare the baking materials and the ingredients from scrap and I started the "thing" in my mind.
I sifted the flour and added the dry ingredients, sugar with a pinch of fine salt then mix them well.
I was taught in the training center to use butter in tarts and pies but I used corn oil instead. I heard from my friends they tried using oil instead of butter and it went well so i tried it also. There's no harm in trying since butter is also an oil when melted.😁
Now using this pastry plender i pressed it to the flour mixture to incorporate the ingredients and the oil to hold the flour. It is done this way to achieve a crunchy crust of the tart. The oil holds the protein in the flour. One can have his own choice of tart, either it will be a crunchy one or the soft one. Just adjust the milk added.
Next, one tablespoon after another i added the milk. Since it's cold in here, i had to add more than the ussual because the flour stays dry even i added the normal amount of milk. When I first made this recipe i added the normal amount because the weather is hot and the dough I made was at my desired moisture already at a short time. But now I need to add more. I made it sure, it looks like a coarse crumbs to have a flaky and a crunchy outcome.I had to hold it by rubbing between my thumbs and the other fingers to make sure I achieved the desired moisture. Because of the pastry blender i don't need to hold the flour and blend it with the other ingredients all the time using my hands. I took time to play with the crumbs. In the hot weather, if you don't have pastry blender, it is advisable not to overhandle the dough using of your hands because the outcome will not be crunchy since we released the oil from the flour already but to others, they liked the not so cruchy tart too.
Now i have to put a dough in the tart molder by pressing it in the midde and in the sides ensuring no extra crumbs hanging in the edges to prevent from being burnt, i trimmed it using my fingers pressed through the edges.
Then I filled the hollow portion with the prepared squash filling. I had to flatten the top well because any tip formed will become brown first and it will be burnt before the entire tart will be cooked.
Now I can smell the aroma of the tart and this little kiddo was just so excited to have a taste of our baked product.
Tsaraan! My experiment went well! I don't be needing a butter next time because we don't have a refrigerator 😁.
The crust was crunchy but not so hard to bite. This is a perfect bite i want to achieve always. My kids loved it and wanted me to make another one but there's no filling anymore. 🤣 I promised to bake them a cake instead one of this days. Next time ime I will try the egg tart. It's a bit tricky to achieve the perfect outcome though specially the custard that needs a keen eye.
Thanks for having time reading. ❤️

Gift Unexpected
At last, I have it!
A Timing Advance Valentine's gift for me!
The year 2019 0f October I I attended a training in pastry making. I'm so much interested in baking but I can't explore and experiment since we don't have an oven. I had my first try when I had a casual job in our school. The grade two teachers was fond of baking and she taught me and one of my companion the steps of a basic chiffon cake during her free time while we provide the ingredients in school and we brought home the product and sometimes we ate it during break time.
Since then my, passion for baking grew even more. I had my next chance when I tried buying my pans and measuring materials and baked at home. Then I had to borrow the top oven of one of my husbands cousin or @Z_graedens oven. But the hassle is, you can't bake anytime you want. If you wanted to bake a small pan for your family only, it doesn't work in here. When you are found with an oven in your hands, expect somebody on your front door.😁
In here we can just find cakes during weddings and special occasions. But as the days go by, mosty learned how to bake.We can have cakes anytime we want as long as we have oven and tools in baking.
Thanks to the program of TESDA. An agency in our country that offers free technical and vocational course to people who are interested to learn a specific skill in a short span of time, because aside from baking there are other skills they offer. There are two kinds of trainings they offer, its the paid training and the free one which is actually being paid and sponsored by either Local Government Unit, provincial or any politicians. Free trainings are limited,so are the slots of the participants, that's why it's always grabbed "first come first served".
Last week, Thursday, February 11th we recieved our Starters baking kits from the agency. I saw a kit from previous participants and I didn't expect that ours is much better. The oven is much bigger than the previous. Plus the extra baking materials that includes large mixing bowl with a good quality, measuring materials, a dough blender, and tart molders. I was looking for pie pans since it's pastry but there isn't any. But it's ok.I had my own when we had our training.
Now I had my problem during the claim. My husband's cousin who was one of my co-trainee just gave birth and she came to me and gave an authorization paper with her Identification ID. She can't come because of her situation so she tried her luck if it is allowed that I will be the one to claim her kit instead. I thought I can just clip the kits between my armpits left and right.😂 Fortunately, when I gave the authorization letter, the one at the information desk told me I was allowed to claim my cousin-in-law's kit. But I was surprised when I saw the large boxes piled in the side corner of the multipurpose building . It even occupied the backstage!
We had a short program only since time was limited and following the protocols, the program was ended shortly. After the programs and claiming of kits I faced my problem. How can I transport the kits outside to our public parking area.? They were too big to be kept between my armpits😅. I can't ask the facilitators of the program, I thought its too improper and one thing more, they were busy for the next batch of people to claim their kits too. So I had to carry the boxes one by one outside. My companions carried their load and we have to be quick. I had to take it outside and don't need someone to help me.
Right on timing when I brought the second box outside. I wasn't aware that there were two young policemen nearby. They saw me carried the first box to transport it to the parking area and I was surprised when one of them approached me and from behind telling me to leave the load down. He then lifted the box instead and asked me where would he deliver it. His companion followed lifting the other one. How grateful I am for these people. I never expected it. When we reached the parking area, my companions teased me because I didn't have to exert effort in carrying those big boxes unlike they did.😅
Now I am glad, that even the pandemic occurred, and our kit was stranded and took it a year to be claimed, It's still a blessing it came and didn't vanish or the fund wasn't realigned to other matters. I was looking forward to the next new level of this training to have NC1 and NC11, (National Certificate),meaning more knowlwdge.
I'm planning to enrol on SMAW, Shield Metal Arc Welding this vacation when I had a chance. I was planning it since the moment Tesda Was introduced to me but the time conflicts with my availability. It needs 30 days straight working days in the training facility. The training centre takes more or less 1 hour of travel from our place to the training centre every day. I can't compromise my time in exchange for the training from my children. I hope against this pandemic, time will allow me, by God's grace.

My First Love and My First Heartbreak
Since it's Valentines day, i just want to share something of my experience. It's boring but i just feel like sharing it. I think i was contaminated with @Jane virus. 🤣🤣🤣
When I first stepped into high school. I was one week late because no one guided me during the enrollment. My mother was in Manila at that time.My dad was away in his work and would come once or twice a month to check on me.Good thing our neighbours' daughter and at the same time my friend was enrolled in the same school I was about to enter. She guided me as she was an old student from the academy.
I stayed behind the lines of young people entering the room during my first day. I felt uneasy but I'm fighting it and silently waited for everyone to have their seats. You can imagine someone whispering to his/her side talking about you. When I entered our classroom, everybody was staring at me. I just realized now that they mistook me as "suplada" at that time.😅 I found a vacant seat in the corner of the room and I told myself, "Welcome to a new bunch of people May." 🤣
After an opening prayer, our adviser caught my classmate's attention and told me to introduce myself in front. That was fast! I wasnvt prepared for that.
With a little awkwardness yet with confidence I went in front and introduced myself. Everyone was silent. Seems everyone was curious who's the new face in front. That was the time I saw the faces of my classmates. Then my eyes were caught by a pair of eyes at the back. He is looking at me and listening intently as I spoke, he looked serious. It made me nervous and I almost choked.😅
That day I gained friends quickly. It started when our teacher gave us a group work and I gave my idea and it worked. Coincidentally, the guy that made me nervous was one of my groupmates! I noticed that he's not that serious. He is jolly and has a chinito pair of eyes and has a sparkling smile. It made my day 😁. I never thought the day would be exciting for a freshmen and have friends in a short period of time.
Not long I had a group of friends and we became open in giving comments about our crushes . I shared mine and it's the time I learned that my crush was a singer in the church where my friends belong to.My school was a private Academy of Seventh Day Adventist so the houses near the school were mostly Adventist. Good thing I don't have a rival in my circle of friends. 😁My pals always teased me starting then. We use A.K.A.'s for our crusheds names so we can freely mention them even they are nearby.
One time in our intramurals, there is this kind of activity that every freshman never knew. I was practising badminton in our school ground with my **friends** when someone suddenly blindfolded me while another one held my hands behind my back. I was surprised but one of my "abductor" assured me it's only a drill. I wondered what kind of drill it is. I was estimating my steps when I realized we are entering a room base on the distance of the sound of our Emcee in charged announcing a baseball match.
I was guided to sit down then my abductors left after one of them I heard telling his companion "30 minutes".Silence followed. I'm struggling to get free from the binds in my hands. It's not that painful because it's a cloth or a handkerchief but it's pretty tight. I wanted to remove my blindfold because I'm not comfortable with it but I can't. I listened keenly to the sounds around me but I can only hear the speaker with the Emcee's voice outside. Unexpectedly, someone with a voice very much familiar spoke asking if anybody's around. OMG! it's him, my crush!🤣🤣🤣 I answered him back. We found out that we were trapped in a blindate! Someone abducted him and he was in that room first.😅
I felt uneasiness inside because I was not used to talking with this guy. It's unexpected and I think he felt the same because we are talking nonsense topics to consume the time. Thirty minutes is lengthy but for me, it's too short🤣. I would love to sit in the room with him even for a lifetime. Silly thought of a girl like me. I'm glad he found topics and asks me questions that shun away my nervousness. We we're in the middle of our conversation when the abductors came back and said time out. Deep inside I was protesting.
Whew! as we were released outside, I was like a fool😁. I felt like my smile reached my ears as I approached my friends. They immediately asked me what happened and expecting their reactions when I told them the whole story, they shrieked like pigs going to be slaughtered!. Oh, girls.😅
More teasings followed and they became more obvious since then. I learned that the abducting was a prank of our seniors to freshmen. They gathered informations who about the crushes of whoever they encounter andmade a list. I had my friends abducted also and as ussual, we were all like crazy.
Days later, I received love letters from "someone".It's either inserted between my binders or in the pocket of my bag. I studied the penmanship and showed it to my friends. They we're more curious than I am. Since that time we were ever watchful on papers being passed to our advicer and even volunteered to check the papers.Unfortunately we weren't allowed😅. Then I found one specific paper with familiar handwriting and very familiar name!😍 But I don't want to over expect so I still waited for more evidence. But as they say, actions speaks louder than words.I can notice the actions , sideglances and unusual attention given to me by the "guy".
To make the story short, the guy proposed to me during our Christmas party. I didn't expect him to be my partner in a paper dance. It's just my friends are too much manipulating and acting cupids. They we're the facilitators of our parlour games and they intentionally chose the pairs. Naughty girls. But it worked.🤣
After the party, everybody we're busy with farewells because we were to see each other after how many days of vacation and will meet the following year. Then a classmate of mine approached and told me someone is looking for me. I left my friends telling them I would be back for a moment.
When I arrived at the spot where my classmate led me, I was surprised to find my guy! My heart suddenly beat faster and I felt nervous like the first time we were alone I don't know why. Ayeee. We were alone in that corner and I don't know what to say. My hands began to sweat.😅
I waited for him to speak first because a lump was stucked in my throat🤣. At last, he spoke. Whew! He asked me if I wanted to go home already. In my mind says, huh? I said I was supposed to leave and just having a last talk with my girlfriends. I was surprised when he asked permission to lead me home.OMG! I would be a hypocrite if I said no!🤣 Actually I discovered that our house was just half a kilometer away.I told him yes if it's ok with him.We passed by my group of friends and left them with a hug and a wink.😉
As we walked the street leading to where I live, the nervousness began again. We were talking some topics about our studies, about my friends, and we were even laughing while he recalled funny moments during our schooldays. A few meters from our house, we stopped and that was the most happy moment of a young lass. A man of her dreams proposing his feeling. Since that day, there's an official relation between us. We stayed longer than expected. We stayed in the waiting shed nearby and just talked sitting side by side close to each other while holding hands.
The following days became cheerful and extraordinary. The relationship was smooth and went on for two years. He was nice and understanding.Though many of our seniors has an admiration on him, I was lucky he was loyal to me.
Unfortunately, a tragedy happened on one of our relative that made us leave the city and brought me here in my hometown. I had no chance to talk to my boyfriend.During our trip in the ship, I always made excuses to go to the comfort room and released my agony.I was so guilty I had no chance in telling him I am was leaving. We transferred to a new place before the enrollment of my third year of high school. I don't have any idea what would happen next. I even entered the school year for 1st grading. It was monday when suddenly I was not allowed to go to school by my parents because we were about to leave the following day. 😞 Can you imagine my feelings that day?. I cried that night and finding ways to meet him but there's no excuses I can make. We both have no cellular phones that time and the distance was impossible to reach him fast without getting detected by my parents. They were strict and I have an extreme fear of their anger.I began to feel bitterness with my parents. Why hadn't they told me their plan earlier?.Why it has to happen this way?😭If i only knew, atleast i talked to him or even bade him goodbye. Not like this. Atleast we find ways to contact each other and can have cellphone numbers of our friends.
The more distance the ship sailed the more my heart was torn into pieces.I even planned to jump of the ship which I realized it's not a good thing to do. Since then,i lived a lonely life away from my love. I had a heavy heart.
So that was my first love and first hearbreak I experienced which I don't like to recall but In every bad memory we need to move on.Thanks for reading this not so good experience of mine. Happy Valentines Guys.
A Little Appreciation Will do
In commemoration of a tragedy 7 years prior on February 7, 2014, marked a history that happened yet an incredible story of how my fellow men act as one in that moment of despondency and misfortune.
I am proud that my hometown is one of the most hospitable barangay in Bontoc, the capital town of Mountain Province.
Even though we receive discriminations from others. Most noticeably awful, they are our kindred Filipino, we keep on shouting out to the world that we exist as legitimate individuals and are turning out to be more renowned the more pessimistic individuals perceive.
Discrimination is everywhere.Though we get used to it and we tried our best to keep on correcting the wrong information circulating around social media about us, there are still others that don't know our kind.
One best quality of us Igorots that I am proud of is being a decent Samaritan. We were gathering the benefits of appreciation regarding being friendly and fast with regards to crises. We don't pick the recipients of our guide. The best model I can give was during a mishap that occurred in our general vicinity. I recalled the most stunning accident happened 7 years ago. This episode offered different thoughts from netizens. I was hurt by the negative remarks towards us as I read it in social media. Concerning now, the posts have been removed. Possibly they were struck by the reaction the Igorots shots back at them. 😅
Here's my story.
On the morning of February 7, 2014. I was occupied with my home errands when I heard a siren someplace yet I can't sort out which part of our neighbourhood it came from. My heart skipped a bit and beats faster as though it realizes that there's something wrong. It began during my younger brothers demise on a vehicular mishap and at whatever point I heard alarms, it startled me and my heart automatically skipped.
Our town is encircled with national roads going to various bearings and territories and our place is located lower than the level of the roads, so now and again I raised my head to recognize where the sound came from. I proceeded with my tasks however later the alarm turned out to be sequential. I can't focus on the thing I was doing so I left my chores and headed outside and ask our neighbours what's the alarm all about, however, they are all pretty much as clueless as I am. We don't know what's going on. A couple of moments later, news spread in our whole town that a mishap happened close to our place. A transport named GV Florida who heads out from Manila to Bontoc fell into a slope after losing its brake according to the informer. The transport has approximately 40 passengers and 14 tragically, didn't endure and was dead on the spot. r incorporates kids, craftsman, a famous comedian in our country ,foreigners and other different personalities that dwell outside our area. May they rest in peace.
At that time of wretchedness, one may begin crying uncontrollably in the wake of seeing the terrible circumstance the casualties went through. Dead bodies all over, body portions of dead casualties dispersed in the dry paddy field. You can hear wailings of the survivors, others in distress brought about by the wounds, shock while others were brought about by losing their love ones. The top of the bus was nowhere and the destroyed transport doesn't resemble a vehicle any longer.
All walks of life in our town rushed to the area and expecting to save whatever number lives as could reasonably be expected at that point. One of my cousins revealed to me his experience while conveying the cadaver and the survivors that it's difficult to carry out the bodies since they were affected by the horrible sight. He said they were accustomed to conveying weighty burdens before in their work. However, that second appears to be an unfathomable length of time. The bodies appear to be heavier than the typical weight. Who might not be influenced by the disastrous scene? This is certifiably not a typical circumstance in our general vicinity. We have mishaps however not this grievous.
Mothers from our town embraced the poor orphaned children. It doesn't make any difference if they have drenched with blood yet the warm sympathy that runs in a moms heart streams automatically feeling their despondency towards the little ones. We felt pity for the plight the children have to suffer in one blink of an eye. They lost their parents unexpectedly and thinking who would be going to watch over them created a tight grip in our mother's hearts.
In our nearby General Hospital which the survivors were brought, residents from different sectors and different institutions came and gave anything they can provide for the victims. From nourishments, towels, covers, garments and different things they think is significant including comforts and prayers.
With these modest actions, what do you think? Do you think, if we happened to come upon an accident in your neighbourhood, would your people think and act the same? Would it be more thrilling to be there and take pictures and share on social media and gain viewers and followers? Would it be exciting to ransack the stuff of the casualties, anyway, they are dead and the survivors won't notice because they were occupied with their agonies? The police aren't there yet. There are gadgets, money and valuable stuff that could be looted from the baggage dissipated everywhere. Oh, how exciting it would be!
I am not generalizing but I hope we think the same.
It happened to us when a jeepney with our brothers and sisters as passenger met a vehicular accident outside our area. The accompanying jeepney with our other brothers following came to the rescue. But what's most heartbreaking was, the occupants in that specific region were more occupied with prowling in our brother's belongings than aiding the doomed one's. 😥
We were blamed for the Florida bus accident as if we pulled that bus down especially when famous comedian "Tado" was included to the perished one. We were insulted. We even receive comments saying, it's a good thing we didn't eat the bodies!😏. Some said **w**e took some valuable belongings from the passengers. Our efforts we're disregarded. Yet, we simply think emphatically and stick on to positive remarks as reassurance. We have in our psyche that helping is our goal, no matter what race you came from.
I would like to share one important point I want to to tell you. Here in our place, being an Igorot, we stand as one. We help as one, blood or not. We extend our hands to others even they are not one of our tribesmen. And one more thing, being an Igorot, it was marked in our culture that plundering from someones belonging especially from vehicular mishaps and burning house or any establishments is unlawful to our culture. We call it "paniyew" meaning not good. Misfortune will come along to anyone who will do the actions like "karma". Believe it or not, it does happen. Whatever impressions you have in mind, the conclusion is, we have deep respect to individuals who met tragedies.
*"We do live in the mountains however we act and live as human beings not zombies We are not just active in Facebook if she is too uninformed to even consider knowing Facebook is the only social media we are present."*
Though we receive discriminations from other people. Worst, they are our fellow Filipino, we continue to shout out to the world that we are civilized people. We are even more civilized than those who seem to view themselves as great as Alexander the Great. We are even more beautiful from the inside than those who claimed to be beautiful like goddesses. And we have a genuine heart that is willing to extend our hands in any circumstances **we** are needed. All we need is recognition, not insults. ❤️

Unsolve Mystery
**Part 1** https://read.cash/@Xzeon/unsolved-mystery-d3a8504e
Everybody was talking about the "scene" during their breakfast. One keeps asking what kind of creature has done that awful thing. When suddenly Mr Miguel, Brandon's dad explode and pound the table with his fist. Everyone in the dining table we're surprised by the way he acted. His eyes are piercing each member in their seat with awe. Then in a few seconds, as nothing happened he faced his meal and never gave attention to his audience which left them staring to each other with silent language.
From that moment, Brandon is observing his dad. He confirmed there's something wrong with him. In moments like this, they should be having a good time. He should be teasing him by now, because he was the favourite victim of his dad and the laughing stock of the family when in terms of having no girlfriend, then he would appreciate the food and the "cook". But this time he just gobbled the food especially the meat when they knew that their father is always conscious of their health and always reminds them to do the same, less meat. Their father was a vegetarian.
In this situation, he would be giving comfort to the owner of the bunnies which is Brandon's younger sister next to him. When in fact, it's his gift to the child during his birthday months ago. But nothing, just as if it's not a big deal.
After the not so enjoyable meal, Mr Miguel went upstairs. The family members quickly gathered and discussed the transformations of their head. One suggested to consult a psychiatrist, others proposed for a witch doctor or medium but Mrs Miguel choose the first, she doesn't believe in witchcraft and mediums as she thinks that anyone that believes in it was the one easily defeated in their faith in God. They planned how will they execute their agenda. It should be the soonest.
Even Brandon's mom got goosebumps when they were alone in their room with their dad because it seems she is with someone else. They don't speak to each other anymore. When they always have a heartful conversation before going to bed before, this time she let his husband sleep first. No more kissing in her forehead, the gesture of his loving mate. She told the family members that their dad keeps on shifting positions at night and curls or hangs his head when he sleeps when he was once a silent sleeper and behaves well in bed before.
The shift of character and traits of Brandon's dad became worst day by day. One night, Brandon was about to get a drink from their fridge when he found someone besides the fridge and was busy with something in his hands. The lights were off and only the light from the fridge illuminates the kitchen. Brandon was about to click the switch of the kitchen light when he noticed that there's something different in the figure by the way he looks at that someone from behind. He heard the unusual growling sound again. Like a hound busy with his bone and fear that some other hounds would appear and would snatch it away. Brandon felt his nape getting cold, he was full of shock!. He quickly hides behind the divider of the kitchen and waited for the next move of the "person". Few minutes passed, he felt the presence of that individual slowly climb upstairs. When Brandon tried to take a peep he found out it was crawling!
His heart is thumping with excitement and disbelief! Brandon thought of someone in his mind.

Sitio Estero was a tranquil spot, exacting usage over alcohols are very much overseen. No gambling and no criminal and illegal operations can be observed. Residents in this spot are making themselves occupied with their lawn cultivating and tending to their livestock. They are even one of the vegetable providers in their town. Everything worked out in a good way and everyone wasn't anticipating that a horrible experience should occur in their place.
Brandon's father was the best father he might envision. Beside compassionate, he is so understanding too and there's something in him that in a solitary expression, you will consistently comply and tune in.
Each social occasion at the eating table, his dad would encourage them to lead a supplication. He was likewise understanding and dependable as far as their necessities.
Aside from being a reasonable dad, he was a respectable neighbour too. He broadens his hand and assists the individuals asking for his help and never decline the person who asks a favour.
His dad shows an unexpected difference in character which is confounding. It began when his father returned from his work in a specific site in a remote area after hardly a month. His father is an engineer and works under a prominent construction company in the city. Since his appearance, he was getting different. He doesn't talk much. If he's in a discussion, he would abruptly get quiet and appears to be not conversing with someone even he's in front of his buddies. He doesn't motivate supplicating each dinner any longer and all the more frequently he gets bothered even a simple issue.
The whole family got stressed over the situation. Brandon's mom and the whole family members sought help from outside relatives and were exhorted by them to notice more and ask mental advice.
Everything was made arrangements for the next day. In any case, something unforeseen happened the next day.
While Brandon was concentrating in his room, he heard the entryway from his parent's room opened. He has been mindful to peculiar sounds that he can focus on even a solitary drop of a coin coming from outside. Now he was in exceptional fixation with his books when he heard an uncommon sound from an external perspective of his room. It resembles the sound of a dog who saw his rival. Grrrrr...went the sound. Be that as it may, he understood they don't have a dog. Brandon listened once more. Presently the sound was no more. He proceeded with his task for the evening and rested later.
Brandon was upset by the upheaval outside. He emerged from his bed and went to check what is the issue.
They were completely alarmed to discover blood in their backyard. Their rabbits in its confine were missing. Also, what's additionally astounding is the twisted produced in the cage as though an enormous animal deliberately and powerfully bowed it wide to approach the little creature inside.
Everyone was paralyzed as they recovered portions of the pet's skin with its fur close to the confine. Nobody understands what sort of animal was dependable with this shocking thing.

Tab Trader
I'm gonna introduce to you an app wherein you can monitor the rise and fall of your BCH. I don't know if anyone of you is using this app.
It's called "TabTrader".
Download it in playstore and install. In here you don't need to open an account. Just open it unless there's a new update and changes in the app and needs signing up. This is similar with Binance Alert but Binance takes long to appear in my screen so I used it so I don't need to click back the page in my binance app and look at the signals then to my trading page again because I am using a smartphone only.
When you open the app just follow what would appear in the instruction then it would look like this.
The next thing you do is to click the ticker below with the plus sign and it will redirect you to a list of featured pair of cryptos and exchanges. 👇
Now you are going to type what pairs of crypto you want to monitor. I typed BCH/USDT.
Then I choose from the exchanges below whom I trusted most. I choose BINANCE.
Now, go back to the previous tab and you can find your chosen pair of crypto in your favorite exchange in the screen. You can choose other types of crypto and exchanges too. Just do the same process.
Now, go back to the previous tab and you can find your chosen pair of crypto in your favorite exchange. ☝️
Next thing you do is to click the ticker you have chosen so that a graph will show and the candles will become visible. It will show the graph from binance since that was what I selected.
There are two ways to get alerted. All you have to do is to long press any part of the graph and a broken line will show. Place it on your target digit on your graph you want to give you alert with. Another is you can also click the bell with a plus sign in the upper part of the screen and type your target. Click the "save".
The app will alarm and alert you whenever crypto touches the line or volume you created and chosen. It would be a hassle checking your exchangers from time to time and would miss the target price if you forget checking, but with TABTRADER you will be alarmed the moment your target digits are reach. It will notify you if it goes below or rise.
Click your previously chosen ticker so that the graph will show like this. 👇
It would look like this after setting an alert👇
The one with gray line 489.31.You can change the digit in the alert tab if you want before saving your alert.
Type your desired target if you want:
That's all for now. I can't use the alert because i have a slow internet, the moment it shows in my notification and i opened my wallet, in my phone it takes time to open. 🤣so I think of sharing it to you, maybe, just maybe it would help. 😉

Regret
*I missed riding on your back when I was once a little girl,*
*You were my best storyteller,*
*You held me firmly when I was learning my first steps,*
*Daddy, I missed your callous hands.*
*You were my saviour when I was drowning,*
*Every time I think of you I felt lacking.*
*You taught me to hold on to every suffering.*
*Words are not enough to convey my feelings.*
*Daddy from you, I learned my first ABC's,*
*and from you, I counted my first 123's.*
*A mentor, a friend and a father you played all in one,*
*a good character you displayed to everyone.*
*I promised to repay you when I become lucky,*
*But father forgive me,*
*of all the sacrifices that you did to me*
*I failed you, I had lost my way.*
*But Dad why oh why did you leave me so early?*
*I was still on my way but you left me already.*
*You didn't give me a chance to hug you tight,*
*No last words before you depart.*
*I wished you were here to play with my children,*
*the way you taught me, introduce it to them.*
*I dreamed you stayed longer*
*for me, to have a sensible counsellor.*
*You've been a good father to me,*
*I will cherish you in my memory.*
*In my dreams, I wanted to catch a glimpse of you dear father,*
*I wish you stayed more longer.*
*You left me with an emptiness in my heart.*
*I will always live with it even when we are apart.*
*I take it as tremendous contrition when I wasn't by your side,*
*In your last breath, I wasn't able to hold your hand.*
*I'm sorry my dear father,*
*I will carry my regrets in my grave forever.*
*eventually, hoping I will be with you one more time so,*
*I can make it up to you the things in which I failed you.*
*Words aren't enough to express how I feel inside,*
*but at least in these phrases, I released my emotions in my heart and mind.*
*Through this, I can convey my message*
*to a father, I can no longer embrace.*

"Good Life" What is it to me
My old version of a Good life means having a life with NO worries and NO struggles and suffering. Having a lot of money, a big house, flashy cars, numerous wardrobes and shoes that you can change every hour.
As you go along this article you can find out how my perception in the word "GOOD LIFE" meant to me.
As I wrote this article, I was still a bit perplexed about how I was going to elaborate on this article and how can I deliver it because I was trying to forget this memory. But after I typed the first part of the article, my fingers just freely played in my keyboard and seems like it has mind of its own.
I was a kid who grew away from my brothers and sister and was adopted by my uncle and her wife and has no silver spoon in my mouth when I was born, so I can say I lived a hard life. During my childhood days, I dreamed of becoming rich and imagined having rich parents or I am a lost daughter or granddaughter of a wealthy individual. I love to watch the anime story of Princess Sarah if you are familiar with it. Such imaginations drove me to that point because the life I existed is a calvary to me. At an early age, I already wished to have a good life.
A glimpse of my past can be of help to understand my desire to have a good life. I tried being awake at 3 o'clock early in the morning where everybody is still in bed for preparation to join my aunt is going to work which takes a few kilometres away to the banana chips factory. I helped her in peeling unripe bananas and only be paid 13 pesos a basket in which she can only Finnish 6 baskets a day and with my help plus 5 more which makes 11 baskets for a total of less than $3. This made me ask myself why do I need to do this? I hate it. This is the part of my days I hated most. I'm thinking that I am still a child for Christ sake! I want to sleep longer and enjoy life and enjoy being a child.
I was a child who does not have enough time to play or I am afraid to play. Why? Because I feared to soil my clothes because I will be punished later by my aunt. Yes, I am not as free as other kids who enjoyed their childhood days.
During weekends I had to accompany my aunt to find firewoods since we do not use a gas range or modern cooking equipment and she wanted me to carry it with my head but I was embarrassed because we are in the city and I feel like lots of pairs of eyes were watching and I was starting to feel conscious of myself.
Whenever we were running out of rice, we were like scavengers who collects rejected bananas from a banana plantation who disposed it along the highways. We took it home and boiled it as a substitution for rice.
We accepted loads of laundry and received more and I helped washed it using my tender hands and suffer the stingy feeling of the swelling and wounds due to overexposure to detergent. I tried to wash bottles and garbage hunting for scraps to be sold to junkshops for survival.
Those moments of struggles we're so difficult for a child like me and I felt humiliated when someone from my school finds me in the garbage area like a beggar and might tell it to my schoolmates and I will become a laughing stock.
I always envy those kids during my grade school who comes to school wearing new pairs of shoes, nice bags and clothes plus snacks during break time. Other kids can afford to buy those goodies in the stalls in the canteen. I was contented and the only experience having a new pair of black school shoes during the school closing program and church service and a new rubber shoes (Robertson's) during school opening and if the condition of the shoes seems still in good condition, expect it to wear the next year and have your toes curl to hide it from sticking out.
The library was my haven. Books were my secret friends. It's located beside the canteen and the buzzer was there also so after the librarian pressed it for class resume after break time, that's the indication I go out from my sanctuary to my classroom again.
The moment I felt good was when uncle I called dad comes home after a long time of absence(work purposes). The cupboards and rice dispenser will be filled. I can now experience to taste milk and chocolate again. And I can have a playmate too. He was my best playmate and a great mentor. I learned my first ABC's and 123's from him. I remembered the moment I learned how to spell words and he gave me a board game called Scrabble. I still have it in my possession until now. I realized the reason that I was able to survive the early hardship of my life because of my dad. He was the one who taught me that in order to succeed in life you need a lot of sacrifices and patience. I didn't understand what he meant by that. I only knew he was a good father and a good friend to me. I promised that I would repay him when I grow up and have a job and would give him a good life.
Unfortunately, before that promise of mine wasn't fulfilled, he sent me back to our hometown after a tragedy. In this place, I met my husband. I experience having my own family. It's difficult at first and I experience that famous saying "history repeats itself". I have struggled again and more complicated. We were always short in cash. My firstborn was so sickly that she needs to go to the hospital numerous times. My husband is an industrious man but he lacks eligibility for some specific work. He sometimes joins his uncle doing simple carpentry but it is not his forte. So he joined local loggers in our community. Same scenario every day and no savings and more spending. This time I wished again to have a good life.
However, through fervent prayer life is much better now, though not as good as what I wished during my younger years to become wealthy, I am wealthy in my own way of thinking. My children are my wealth. They are more than valuable treasures to me. If I have to answer a question " **What for me is a GOOD LIFE**?" I will tell you this, to be with my family is a good life. To watch my children grow is a good life. To have good health is a good life and to stay together with my love ones no matter how many hurricanes try to pull us apart, we stay strong in the bind of our Heavenly Father is a good life. I don't wish for material wealth over my family though it's part of survival, I am grateful if it will be poured upon us and will take it as a bonus.
Now, I wish to live a bit longer to watch my angels grow. I would love to tell them my stories and to my grandchildren when I am old. Hope God grants me my wish.

My Greatest Gift
For a starter, I never experienced celebrating my birthday since childhood and I carried it up to now. I always envy kids in our neighbourhood who celebrates their birthday whenever we are invited and I have to witness how they blow their candles. In school, parents brought free foods and treats during their sons/daughters birthdays that made me wished that time to experience it even just once. It never happened. However, I received a gift during Christmas party in school and I feel happy but there's still an emptiness inside.
Those were simple memories of my childhood. When I got older, I became used to it. I never felt what a real gift looks like or what it feels like to have a gift during my birthday. But as I become a matured person, I came to realize I was wrong all along. I had those gifts given to me aside from material things. The love and sacrifices my dad is giving me is one precious gift I had overlooked and I looked **forward** to repaying him when I grow up, that was my greatest challenge to myself.
Everything went wrong when I got pregnant at an early age, due to rebellion against my guardian in the absence of my adoptive parents. I assumed I lost it all. I expected more misfortunes will follow and acknowledge life we're all misery. I never thought of getting married at an unexpected time but what can I do. I lost my path, there's no way out, no turning back and there was no one to cling to. I was tempted to do something cruel about the baby but I was glad my conscience didn't allow me. I just cried thinking about my mistake but realizing there's nothing would change, I fought my tears.
I wondered why I felt something deep within me when I think of the tiny living creature inside my womb. When my bumps became visible, I was feeling unusual. There was a sudden excitement in my heart. The last semester became more exciting. I can't count how many times I fold and unfold the little fabrics in my hands. I became interested in chatting with my fellow mom about giving birth and other baby matters.
Then came the most laborious day. It's so painful that I can't prevent the tear that slipped from my eyes. It took me eight long sleepless hours before the pain began to shorten its intervals. Local medical attendants we're summoned to assist me in my labour. No electricity in the house at that moment so the attendants need to hold the lamp near me. Unfortunately, as the babe that was about to come out was checked, it's head wasn't the first to show out but instead toes we're visible! Everyone panicked and so am I. In my innocence, I asked what's wrong?
My husband arrived with my brother and his companions. I was quickly fastened in a large blanket and was carried up to the main highway where a private vehicle was parked. No stretchers were available at that time. I felt an excruciating pain in my back and belly and seems the baby wanted to come out that very moment anytime and I wanted to give birth to this baby safely no matter what.
I was starting to lose a lot of blood and became weak but the hospital is 10 kilometres away. I told myself to hold on and after collecting my breath and holding to my husband's hands, I joined the extreme pain and released my breath inwardly. Then a slushy warm thing was released below. At last, the damp small bloody babe came out. I can't figure out what they are doing in my tummy after birth that it still hurts but I was overjoyed. I was more worried, is my baby ok?
Everybody was saying my name when I became pale and closed my eyes due to losing a lot of blood but it seems I was in a deep dark tunnel. I can hear them but seems they are far away. I wanted to rest. In my thought, I wanted to hug my little angel and imagined whispering to her ears. I will start a new life with this greatest gift I ever had with his father. Before I lost my consciousness I heard her sharp cry. I smiled with contentment in my heart.
The gift didn't end that day. 5 more gifts followed the following years and I am very grateful I didn't let myself lost the battle between conscience and crime a few years back.
This is my answer to @Eirolfeam2 's $1 question about WHAT'S THE BEST GIFT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. You can click the link below if you are interested.

For a Change
Cabloy packed his lunch in his woven backpack (passiking), preparing to go to the farm. He stepped out of the house and keenly listening for something unusual noise. (beliefs about sneezing in his village is a bad omen, one must step back again and drink water and sit for a while before starting to step out of the door again*) After being satisfied, he continued his steps. When he reached the elevated part of the pathway going to the farm, he peered down from where he came from and rested a bit. His beloved village. He breathed in the delicate breeze of the morning wind and before his perspiration evaporated off he stood and began his excursion once more.
In the middle of his way to his destination, he met his cousin Emilio and chatted about his visit to the field while they made a short rest and at the same time chewing their tobacco. "Appears that lumawig has cast his rage upon us. Pests are so ruinous this time again. There's nothing left in my ricefield, so with my neighbouring fields, I think we should do our ritual and make appease with our bathala next planting season. Let's see what our elders will say about this." Cabloy nodded in approval. But in his mind, he has something in his thoughts. His cousin is right, field mouse caused a lot of damage to their crops. The previous years were a total crisis. They were to plough a sky wide ricefields and expected to carry home how many gimatas of their crops during harvest however lamentably they only brought home few bundles tied in a wooden stick or half of the sack only. How devastating it is for a farmer like them who only rely their living on their yields alone. How will they feed their family on these coming days?
He arrived in his ricefield and after a moment of wandering around the paddy field, a look of dismay was pasted in his wet face. There's a recently eaten stalk when he checked it out.
He started to cut the weeds and sunflowers in the embankment that encompasses the rice field. When he stared up the sky, the sun was above his head. He wiped his temples with his elbow. He then proceeds to an oak tree nearby where he hanged his passiking. After he slumped in the protruding root of the tree, he drank from the aluminium water container given by his cousin who was an army. He remembered how he persuaded him to join the army too. He has a good muscular built of a man and with brains too but unfortunately he stopped going to school when he was about to enter college when his father was paralyzed and no one to tend their fields. His brothers and sister were still young and he has plans for them.
This cousin of him was his companion in going to the field a few years back but was disappointed when the crops are getting scarce. He left the village and secured a post in the city until he was recruited to join the army. Now he decided to accept his cousin's invitation. He will discuss it to his mother later.
The water tastes heaven. He just fetched it this morning from a spring on his way to his field. He noticed Dongael drawing closer, his neighbour and friend since his cousin left. "Come, let's have our lunch, we worked excessively, it's time to feed ourselves too"."Right, who would take care and eat these crops when we die hahaha!" Dongael joined him in his seat and burst out laughing. It's their common jokes.
Feeling some growlings in his stomach he unpacked his bag and from it, he took out his lunch. Rice with salted meat and boiled beans was a delicious meal in the field. It is still enjoyable even it's only a wide-eyed salt or a lump of sugar for a viand😁. Farmers knew the feeling. Dongael also laid his meal on the ground. Boiled sweet potato and "tupig" boiled glutinous rice mixed with peanut enveloped in a woven sugarcane leaf and his viand a "gajiw" or river fishes boiled with "tapey" a rice wine. Both the men were enjoying while sharing their meals.
They had a healthy chat and after their heartful meal, Dongael bade goodbye to continue his clearing task. Cabloy stood up as well but he planned to collect firewood the whole afternoon because he remembered his grandmother was short of firewood for her fireplace that keeps her warm at night. She reminded her yesterday. Good thing it didn't rain that night. The woods are dry and usable as soon as he brings it home.
He arrived home earlier as expected. He met his mother in the doorway holding a pale full of hog feedings. His younger brother was chopping firewood while his sister is pounding rice. "Bring this firewood to grandmother Miguel, she had been expecting it before her last firewood burned up. " He motioned his brother to help him with his load. Miguel nodded and placed the axe down, approach his older brother and carried the firewood's to their grandmother's house.
Dinner was served. It's been hard for Cabloy to voice out his plan and leave his family but he has to do it for their future. His mother was reluctant at first but later realized he has a point. They can't remain in this situation wherein they only rely on what their fields could give when they have already done their part. They had a solemn dinner after that.
*** The cock crows in the neighbourhood. Cabloy was already prepared. His things were already packed by her mother last night. He was awake for hours. It's excitement or something painful inside he doesn't know the exact feeling he has right now.
He stood still for a while listening to sounds. Good omen. He saw her sister fighting her tears behind his brother. He held her shoulder so with his younger brother and left them instructions to take care of their parents and their obligations in school and tend the fields. The moment he ventured out of the door, he felt something new. This time he has a new mission. Not to the rice field but rather to the outside part of his world. Someday, perhaps, he will bring progress to this family and his village. May God guide him on his journey.
(*1) if you are cooking rice, you should put the fire out and put it back again after a few seconds.
(*2) sneezing implies bad luck. For men, they might cut themselves at work while for women, they'll get penetrated in the foot.
***This is a typical story of our life here in our village.***

What's with the Apple in a Pig's Snout?
Roasting pig is a tradition for many countries. One is from my country, my beloved Philippines. We roast pigs during New Year and Christmas and even on occasions like fiesta, weddings and other gatherings. Other part of the planet roast pigs particularly on Christmas and New Year. Some serve it during Thanksgiving day.
When I was still a child, I use to find roasted pigs with apples in their snout. I was curious why but I didn't bother to ask. I thought it's just normal.
When I got older, I heard different explanations about it. But the origin of the tradition is still unknown.
Here are the theories about why there is an apple in a roasted pig's snout. One simple explanation I learned is it's a wealthy people's style to show elegance. Aside from this, I found more interesting theories behind.
It was said that a hundred years ago, farmers tradition is putting an apple in a pigs snout is a part of the meal decoration during harvest celebration. The roasted pig was decorated with different kinds of fall fruits and vegetables to match the theme of the occasion.
Another familiar theory is to release gas from the belly of the pig as it is roasted but according to Steven Raichlen, host of Primal Grill on PBS and author of The Barbecue, it is purely aesthetic. Imagine a pig with it's internal removed where would that gases came from when it is replaced by spices.
In other countries, they fed the pigs with apples to fatten them. So they believe that the pig, dead or alive should eat apples. That's why in order not to cut the cycle, they place an apple in a pig's mouth when roasting while others put it after serving. In these modern times, a ball of aluminium foil is placed in a pigs mouth when roasted and replaced by apple afterwards before serving.
In my country, we call this roasted pig as letsong or litson derived from the word "Leche" a Spanish word which means milk and pig because the pig to roast is suckling or still nursing from its mother. But as I tried hog raising, we separate a baby from its mother after 30-45 days and I realized the suckling is so small to roast😂. After I witnessed a 3-months old pig, I think it is just the right size to prepare than a poor babe. 😁 In choosing a pig to roast, a young pig was a good choice since its tender and more easy to roast. Bigger ones take more hours to prepare and cook. History of this dish originated from Spain and introduced in the Philippines during the Hispanic era and adopted all over the world.
Lechon is **place** in a bamboo stick after stuffing the belly with lots of lemongrasses, garlic, spring onions, salt and pepper and bay leaves and stitched with cotton thread or stainless wire and placed under hot coal. Brushed with soy sauce and evaporated milk to make its outcome red and crispy. You need a lot of hand rotating and loads of charcoal to come out with a right roasted pig in the table.
So in serving the dish, it needs a wide platter or aluminium foil under it because it excretes a lot of juices and of course the apple in the snout to make the star of the dining table more presentable😉.
So to conclude it all, an apple in a roasted pigs snout beautifies the look of an ugly creature with its mouth wide open and sticking its tongue. 🤣
Happy reading! ❤️

Random thoughts
What's on earth worth living for? Because for me, I feel this earth is like hell. I only live for the sake of my family. If living in this world full of hatred, bloodbaths, sickness and war are worth living for? well, not for me.
Reality is visible around us. Brother kills his brother. A person marries his family member. People are craving for money and power. A piece of land is not enough and people are killing each other for that little chunk of land. A crumb of bread worth a gem to survive, a piece of crumb for a life. Others killing innocent people without reason. Some are getting wealthier but in a tricky and wicked way and steps on people just to be on top. People spent sleepless nights with sweat and blood remain poor and still scratching for survival. Animals are more caring than people. This unfair kind of life is not worth living for.
However, some people think and have a positive mindset and take heavy situations lightly whatever possible happening will come. They must be prepared and anticipating for the consequences may it be favourable or not, but people differ. I treat hardships and trials challenging. I thought of death as a friend, not an enemy. It takes us away from deceit and agony. But if this death was unnatural and caused by someone more eligible to die, that's another story.
I was not an active social media person. I visit my Facebook account once to thrice a month for 30 mins. I check my telegram and messenger when someone messages me but it takes no longer than 5 minutes.
So lately I was stunned by the posts on one of my favourite group pages in FB when a young boy was murdered and left hanging in a branch of a tree to display it as suicide. I know how the mother would feel about the situation.
If I was going to die, not the brutal way. I won't keep silent in my grave if cruelty killing would happen to me and my family. I know some of you think that way. I am a person that is not afraid of dying but if it's the violent way. Well, that would be another story.
Days are getting harsher. With this new normal, lots of people are having a rough moment to adjust to this new situation. But killing innocent people for no reason and seems like a game to the culprit is not a good thing and unacceptable. With this additional hard crisis we are already encountering I couldn't help myself thinking, wondering and imagining if only I could wipe all the horrible things in this planet so we could all live harmoniously. But, sadly, I can't do it. 😥 I hate seeing people desperately risk their lives just to survive even in a restricted situation while wealthy ones are getting wealthier when we the poor one made them become rich in the first place. This is the unfairness of this planet i am seeing.

Winning is not about the Price all the Time
I just want to share a simple memory a have enjoyed yesterday.
Yesterday we attended a Christmas program in our locality. After the mass, we had a short presentation of singing contest per sitio. We enjoyed the program though the actions are very limited unlike the previous years. Gift prices and foods are sponsored by our youths only which also differs from previous years.
What i enjoyed most was the game i joined unexpectedly which is the bible quiz bee for couples. I had to grab my husband somewhere to represent our sitio because the game players must be couples. I don't think we would win the game because i forget some of the details about the bible unlike when i am just a kid.
There were five couples in the game, that includes us. On the first round, two couples were eliminated. We are still holding on. 😅
On the second and last round. Luckily yours truly and my husband won the game! We had a tie though but because of the limit of the program. We had to cut the game short so there were two winners from out of the 5 contenders😅. I would love to know who will going to win if the game continued. 💪 My husband is not a kind of man that would love to join in occasions like this but i was surprised he was infected by my good vibes. 😁
A couple's Northface cap is not that much but i enjoyed the game. Sometimes it's good to have a little battle of the brain once and for all about the bible. Aside from learning new ideas, you also add some knowledge in your brain just like mingling here in read. cash. I realized, its been so long since i opened my bible😥. I think it reminded me to open my bible again. This Covid overtook much of my attention this year.
It made me realized that things that happened this year is just a normal situation. It could become worst in the following years but as long as you have a positive outlook in life even the worst situation you can conquer and would feel it as a normal one as if you are expecting it to happen. Don't dwell in bitterness. Just believe and have faith that you can do everything through Christ. ❤️
