"Show off" Good morning/night to my fellow readcash pips from @Xzeon to you. Today i'm going to tell another story. Its my second one and i hope you will read it until the end. For my first story, here's the link and check this out. Well, i asked because i'm inspired to write a story about these stingy little potted plants. In the corner of a rich mans' house, collections of flowers and potted plants are having a discussion about who's the best of them all. Every one is trying to show off and thinking highly on themselves.. except cactus. They keep throwing funny jokes on her and make fun of her stings. Cactus on the other hand just gave them a smile. Not minding their criticisms at all. She never held grudges and felt ill to them even how cruel they are in words. One day the owner of the house went away for vacation and travelled out of the country for how many days. At first, the indoor plants thought that their owner will be back for a short time but it after many days of waiting they all began to wither as their roots dried out for a long days of no watering from their owner. The situation continued for a month and another days. The plants are nearly dying of thirst and they are perplexed why cactus stays healthy while they are suffering from dehydration. They asked her for help. Cactus felt pity on her ill-mannered friends so she gave them water one by one. After feeling satiated, all of the plants asked her how did she managed to survive and even gave them water after so many days of absence of water from their owner. Cactus said that she can live longer without water because her body carries water all over her body. The plants then realized their mistake and apologized sincerely to cactus. The ugly One Hello guys! This is @Xzeon at your service again🤣🤣🤣. Have a good day/night to all! Today i will be a story teller for a while😁. ...pls read till the end and correct me if am wrong. Here it goes... Once upon a time,In a flower garden of a wealthy man, lovely flowers at different colors and fragrance are having fun admiring their beauties and comparing it to one another. "Look at my petals, they are so delicate and smooth as silk." Ms. Gumamela boasted to her fellow flowers. "My flowers are sweet. Our masters daughters loves to sip the sweet juice of my flowers."Ms. Santan bragged also. "Oh! Oh! Look at me! The lady of the house can't take her eyes out of me. I can see her admiration when she waters us everyday." said Ms. Rose who blatantly don't want to be out of the topic and she never did. "My flowers are colorful too though they are fine but i bloom with different colors." Ms. Lantana tried to come along with the conversations. "Hush! Ms. Rose suddenly interupt the discussions. You are colorful but is that what you only got?! You even don't smell fragrant, unlike me! This scenario always happen everyday. Ms. Rose always stand out in the discussions and always wanted to be the center of attention.But everytime and every day also they tease the one separated from them, Ms. Orchid which is mounted on a tree near the group of flowers. "Why is she always hanging up there? Maybe our master didn't like her much thats why she separates her from us." Ms. Gumamela said with a puzzled look. "Oh well, you're right Ms. Gumamela, and look at her, she doesn't even have flower. What's beautiful in her? She's all leaves. Ms. Rose snickered and everyone followed. Ms. Orchid on the other hand just kept quite and made herself her contented clinging to her host tree. Never insulted on her insensitive companions in the garden. Days passed and the braggings and gigglings, annoyings and criticizing of the garden flowers continue. They teased Ms. Orchid even more. One day, The master of the house' dog escaped from his cage and ran into the garden and began to trample the flowers. "Ouch!" , cried Ms. Rose. What a bad dog! He's ruining my beautiful petals, " " Me too, he's breaking my branches". He's ruining everything!". Answered Ms Gumamela. Every flower in the garden just wailed in distress. Ms. Orchid just watched in horror but she can't do anything to help them. She just sob for the misfortune her companions. Few days after.,one early morning the gardener came and started to cut the trampled flowers to replant again. Everyone are sad for the plight they are in. Suddenly they smell something fragrant. It came from something they are not familiar with. They keep sniffing each other thinking its their own aromatic smell but realizing that they don't have flowers they just look at each other with bewilderment. Meanwhile, the masters wife visited the garden and checking her flowers with great despair... Then with a quick glance, she turned her head and began to make a short gasp and excitedly squealed. She then stand up and ran to a tree nearby. All the flowers followed their eyes to where their master would go. And suddenly all of them opened their mouth with great awe.! Alas! Who is that newly hanged flower with unique petals and glitters in the rays of the sun..! Ms. Orchid.. Just opened her eyes from a beautiful sleep and disturbed by the scream of someone nearby. But upon opening her eyes she was astounded to find her master infront of her. "Dianna! Dianna!" The masters wife called her daughter excitedly. " Come down here, and check this out! ." "Wow! Mom, its the most beautiful flower i have ever seen.!" exclaimed the child looking above her with great admiration. "Yes it is my dear, good thing she's in that tree and was saved from being trampled by Prince." the masters wife touched the speckled petals of Ms. Orchid gently..(Prince is the dog) The flowers just bowed their head in regret for giving Ms. Orchid negative and cruel comments and thought ugly of her. **What is the lesson you learn in my story.? Yellow #5 "Tartrazine" are you by any chance familiar with the word? I have shared to you in this article about the additives added on meat on one of my article https://read.cash/@Xzeon/be-health-conscious-c3e8d565 give time to read pls. And share also. This time i'm going to get you familiarize with a certain additive that we are mostly unaware of or maybe you are already aware of it but you just took it so lightly 😊. So here it is.. ***Tartrazine*** is a yellow food coloring and is also called . FD&C Yellow#5, . E # E102, . Acid Yellow 23, . Food Yellow 4, . and trisodium 1--4--5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylate. This artificial coloring is known to be widely used in some foods and even in some pharmaceuticals for a long time. But in countries like Norway and Austria, the use of tartrazine has been banned while other countries also are following. It is said to have a great effect on children and gives negative effect to the consumers. FDA Is still gathering some evidence from countries who appeal for the dropping of the said coloring on the products in which it is added. A human consumption of tartrazine must be 7.5/mg/kg of body weight. So for example I am 50 kg in body weight, i am only recommended to consume 375 mg of tartrazine in a day. The calculation for the children is also the same depending on their bodyweight. So if you know that your kid is fond of eating foods with tartrazine content. Its your responsibility as a parent to control their intake. Here are the some most familiar foods that contains yellow #5 👉ice cream, seasonings of intant noodles, popsicles, hard candy, gummies, milk, soft drinks, juices( powdered and liquid packs) candies, cakes, baked products, and cereals. 👉Tartrazine also is found in cosmetics like moisturizers, lotions, bar soaps, liquid bar soaps, and green hand sanitizers shampoos, 👉It is also present in some of the cough syrups, vitamins, antacids, lotions, gels, capsules and pills. Here are the disadvantages of tartrazine: 👉. May contribute to migraines, eczema, clouded vision, nervousness, asthma attacks,other skin rashes and thyroid cancer 👉. Tartrazine may cause hyperactivity and hypersensitivity in children, asthma, and allergies. 👉. Its my give negative effects on children. Not just to their health but to their behaviour as well. Some studies showed that children who are extremely exposed to tartrazine are likely to have hyperactivity disorder. Though this reported bad reactions from tartrazine is still very controvercial, the numbers of records collected gives the high possibility that the reports are true. So before we picked those goodies and placing them in your cart, try to have some time in checking its content. A Dish for Your Tummy Hello guys! This is @Xzeon and i hope you are all well by the grace of our Almighty... Since it was cold and rainy in here i decided to share to you a recipe we call "arroz caldo". Many Filipinoes knows this food because its one of our favorite staple food. This is a soupy dish especially served during rainy days. Here it is... Ingredients: 1 kilo dressed chicken 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil 1 bulb onion - large(diced) 1 medium sized ginger (sliced thinly) 4 cloves crushed garlic Green onion chopped 3 cups water 2 cups chicken broth 1 tsp. Fish sauce Salt and pepper for seasoning. **Procedures**: Heat the oil into a large pot over a low fire. Then drop the onion, ginger and garlic for atleast 5 mins. Be careful not to burn it😁 . Add the chicken and stir for a lil bit. If you have fish sauce available on your cupboard you can add some atleast 1 tsp. . It adds taste to the soup. Cover the pot for 3 min. after a lil bit of mixing. Now pour the water and the broth into the pot, add the rice and bring to a boil. Stir it occassionaly to prevent from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Serve hot. Add boiled eggs if desired and the seasonings salt and pepper and garnish it with green onions and add some lemon. You'll surely love it. In the picture above i took it when i went to grab a snack in a fast food chain in our town. They used fried chicken on their serving. "Be Health Conscious" Hello guys! This is @Xzeon again and i'm sharing to you an article which gives awareness to us about the food we usually love and we used to eat especially when they are easy to prepareand we just grab it at the grocery stores and mini stores in the alley. I learned this when i attended a seminar about 1 year back about food preservation. I will make it short and simple. Who among you here loves bacon.,ham, hotdogs, cured meats, corned beef, and canned meat? And sometimes salted and smoked fish.. Do you know the preservatives in which the manufacturers added into it in order to extend the shelf life of the said product? Do you know what they added to make it presentable in color? Well, im going to introduce to you the two chemicals that is responsible why such product last long even for months. *Nitrite* and *nitrate*. This two additives has an important role and used to preserve meat. It is usually added to cured meat and frozen meat products to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. It also improves the appearance of the meat giving it a bright red and pink color. ***Nitrate*** and ***nitrite*** can be harmful and hazardous to our body due to its potential production of carcinogenic ***nitrosamines***. Processed meat products and cured meat can contain high levels of these additives. This nitrosamines may cause gastric and colon cancer, and other internal cancers and also causes other tumors. Though we can avoid this, sometimes we just crave for the foods that contains these kind of additives. Try to take a little intake of processed meat products and maximize your intake of antioxidants like berries, beans, spinach, eggplant, mangoes and tea. Buhay Magsasaka Sa araw araw ay nagpapasalamat tayo dahil may nakahaing kanin sa ating hapag-kainan.Na kahit papano kahit mahirap ang buhay at walang ulam basta may kanin okey na. .. Pero sana naman, ipanalangin natin na ang may kagagawan kung bakit may nakahain sa ating hapag ay sana nasa mabuting kalagayan at laging may magandang kalusugan. Sapagkat sila ay di magawang magpahinga sa tuwing nagsisimula ang pagsasaka, simula sa paghahanda ng punla hangang sa pag aararo ng palayan. Mula pagtatanim hanggang sa lumago ang palay. At ang pinaka mahalaga sa lahat ay ang pag-aani . Minsan laking panlulumo sa parte ng magsasaka kung ang kanyang pananim ay nasalanta ng bagyo' o di kaya ay sinira ng peste ng pananim. Isa itong dagok sa kanya dahil nakasalalay ang buhay ng kanyang pamilya kung wala siyang maaani dahil wala silang makain sa darating na mga araw. At wala din tayong makain. Oo, pati tayo, dahil kasama tayo sa kanilang pagsisikap at hirap. Sa tingin mo ba, natatagpuan ang palay sa gilid ng daan o sa gitna ng ilog ng basta basta na lang? O basta basta na lang nahuhulog ang bigas at napunta sa inyong lagayan. Hindi po, kaya sana isipin natin ang mga tao na sa tingin natin ay nagsisikap di man direkta na para sa atin ngunit responsable sa ating pang araw-araw na ikinabubuhay.

My treasure Hello read cash pips... This is @Xzeon This is the first time i share my drawing. I would like to share to you my drawing i use to keep. I drew it 3 years ago for a school project about world history for my daughter. I kept it because i just love the colors. And it took me hours to finnish it perfectly and copy the exact detail of the curves and lines. Maybe i can present new drawing of mine one of this days. "I was a Simple Grain Once" Hello guys.. This is @Xzeon. Wishing everybody a great day... Im going to express my gratitude to this little golden grains for my survival amidst this pandemic😊.This is also my entry to @Ruffa in her photography contest wish you like it guys... Hope this will be approved I was once a single grain, Together with my siblings i was scattered on a wet plain. I wanted to play with the wind as i used to be, But why am i in this place so muddy. How long do i have to be here, Will it take forever? Why this place began to dry Did the water run away? I longed to be out in the sun again, And bathe with the drops of the rain. Oh wait! Whats this i see? A little light glittering at me! Slowly! Slowly i see it wow! The sun is above me now! I could feel my old friend windy, Softly caressing me. How good it is to be out again, And watch what surrounds me till dawn. And heres comes the water from that creek, It feels good now i can finally drink. Why am i plucked? ! Ouch! Don't grab my hair! I like it already here.! Ahh! Now i'm put into a new natural world again, Where i could flourish and present gift to men.. From here again i'm cut and dried under the sun, Spread on the dry ground and trampled by men I now began to raise high and stand tall Swaying with the breeze but holding to my baby seeds so they won't fall From here again i'm cut and dried under the sun, Spread on the dry ground and trampled by men Though i suffered so many times and died Atleast i served my purpose to everyones delight After few days you'll find us on your table, And serve you til the last drop of our grain.

An orphan Hi guys,! This is @Xzeon once again wishing everybody a good day and good health. Am in a good mood today.. I mean my net is in a good mood so i publish this entry of mine to @Dolores When you are feeling cold, you have a mother whom you can crouch and holds you tight, while i only have cardboards and rags to cover me up during chilly nights. When you stumble down you have a father who comforts you and lifts you up while i use my weak hands to get up. You have a sister that cheers you when you are lonesome and bored, while i have the unpleasant sound of vehicles and unmindful civilians passing back and forth. When you are bullied by someone, you have a brother whom you can run to when your'e hurt, but i have no one who shares my pain even i was crying and wants someone to ease my suffering. You have people around you whom you called Family who gives you completeness when i have flies, rats and cockroaches who witnessed my loneliness. Your have meals on your table that makes you feel satiated while i feed myself impetuously from garbages. You have assorted kinds of clothes in your wardrobe to wear, while everyday i fit in a tattered pair. Boy, I see you live a life fortunately, unlike me who lives mine dreadfully. But why do you squander your life away and perpetrate into vices and life destroying activity? Why make a disgraceful act and become a hooligan and taint your family's reputation? Why seek gangsters companion When you have all of your parents love and affection? Oh brother! hear my plea Get out of this predicament you are in, i ask you earnestly! I am an orphan as you can see? Who longed to have what you possess immensely. I desire to have the attention you have dreamily. But what can i say? I was born this way.
