Murder Mystery : Who Killed Alice ? (Final part)

What are you doing in my sitting room? He fumed.

Detective Paul told him about his arrest warrant. Mr. Theo argued vehemently, and even pushed the other policemen away. But he was overpowered and cuffed. While leaving he turned to look at the other inhabitants of the mansion with range.
He was pushed into the car and taken for custody.  All efforts to make him confessed proved abortive as he was still angry.
He was bailed by his friends and swore to take the matter to court.

D. Paul wasn't still satisfied with the whole drama, so he employed the help of a more experienced detective by name Sigma. He had serve in the Crime and Investigation Department for over 25 years and had a lot of experiences in such cases.
The newly employed detective requested they go back to the mansion for sight seeing and confirmation.  Paul never obliged and the zoomed off to the mansion.  Mr. Theo was away, so they requested the maid takes them to Alice's bedroom.
Since the room was still under investigation, the key was with detective Paul. 
He opened the door and the both walked in. The new detective looked at the small table by the corner of the room. He moved closer and examine the items on the table without touching any of them, they he saw Mr. Ben's signet, sunglass all had his company's logo on it. 
He murmured something is missing on this table, He turned and looked at Paul.
How long have you been with the key to the mansion, he asked.
Since the day of the crime, detective Paul answered with uncertainty.
Then the item missing was moved after the crime was committed, he added.
They left the scene of the crime to return for further interrogations since it was only the maid at home.

A weekend later, when everyone was present, they came back for further interrogations.  Entering into the mansion, they was Mr. Theo and The maid all loved up. When he saw them, the pain of his arrest came to mind and he yelled.
What are you doing in mansion, have you all come to harass me again ?
Both detectives smiled and told him, they came to ask everyone in the house few questions, so they could close the case.
He obliged but his new mistress, requested they went in.
Mr. Theo informed them of the absence of the gardener and the cook, as they were sent to the grocery store.

The duo accepted to wait for them. About an hour later, they returned and everyone was assembled in the sitting room. Hearts thumping, face sqeezing, eyeballs failed to look at one another. All this while the curious detector was observing them keenly.
He pointed at Theo, you killed your wife by your actions but someone helped you kill her.
He was scared and his legs were visibly shaking. He turned to the maid, you had always wanted her dead, so you could enjoy the mansion and her business with Mr. Theo. I hope you are now happy.
The maid broke down crying pleading innocent and sorry for her mischievous act.
He turned to the cook, you had sort an opportunity to poison every member of the hlusehold, but wasn't able because your mistress was always present in the kitchen with you. The night she died, you had connived with the security guard to distract her, while you poison the meal. But your plan failed because the security guard was sent on an errand.

He turned and stare at the gardener, he recognized the logo on the watch he was wearing.
Detective Sigma : How did you get that wrist watch ?
Gardener : I...............eeeeemmmm...bought it!
He stammered.
The brilliant detective sighed and went on interrogating him .
Sigma : How long have you stayed with your mistress?
All this while he was trying to hide the Mr. Ben logo which was visible in the wrist watch he was wearing.

Detective sigma turned to his colleague, Eureka! We have found the murderer. He went further to analyze what happened as if he was present when it did.
Mr. Gardener you had stayed for a longer period in this mansion. Since Mr. Ben never had a child, you had every thought of owning it after he was dead. But there was a barrier, Mrs. Alice your mistress, you had to eliminate her, first before every other person in the mansion.
Your plans were carefully executed but they was a mistake.
Everyone stood surprised listening to how he carefully analyzed everything that happened  .
You took a customized wristwatch belonging to Mr. Ben from the table beside her bed. And that is the wristwatch you are wearing right now.
He knew he had been caught, he tried to run but the cops pounced on him.
He was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Everyone was ordered to vacate the mansion and it was seized by the Governement.
They all left  empty and frustrated.
