The Precious Gift From My Best Friend
Good morning friends all over the world, it's been a long time I haven't been here. I had some pressing needs to attend to, sorry I should have informed everyone. Have been busy preparing for my grandma's burial alongside my other relatives. I was grandma's little girl and so I missed her so much . Am happy the whole burial arrangement has been brought to an end, so am back to be active.
I stayed with my grandma while my other relatives stayed far off, so after the burial I have been feeling lonely and so I decided to get a pet. Have been a lover of cat, my friend Lisa gave me one of her kitten which is so lovely.
Staying in the house alone was boring and lonely, Lisa had to gift me her kitten, I call her Bella, she is such a lovely kitten. The first day she arrived at home, she was so shy of coming out of the box,she was brought in. I offered her a lot milk, she was shy of taking it. I was so confused because she was such a lovely kitten, I offered her food, she still refused to come out. I wasn't mad at her because it was her first day at home but all I did was to exercise some patience.
After much waiting for Bella to be out, she refused, I had to go relax in my room. An hour later I came out to check on her, she was no where to be found. I was so scared I felt like crying. While searching for him, I discovered she was hiding behind the door. I had to give her sometime to adapt to her new home. I left her and went to the sitting room to watch my favorite Tv series 'Money Heist' , while in the parlor I heard her sound, I smiled for I knew she had began exploring her new home. I had mirror by my reading table, and Bella kept looking at herself in the mirror, while I giggling loud. Oh my! Such an adorable cat, maybe I should just register her for beauty pageantry, haha! Just kidding.
I offered her food again and she ate, I was so happy and I knew it was the start of a long lasting relationship. It was already late, had to put her in her little bed but she kept crying all night. The next morning, I woke up to see Bella curled under my arms, I just smiled and parted her back. Later that day, we started playing together and it has been fun all through since Bella came.
Am so glad Lisa gifted me, this bundle of joy as it had helped me ease of the thought of losing a grandma. While typing this article Bella is sitting on my laps, after a long day of playing together.

The Redeemers and the Redemption
*Writing as a senior prefect......*
It's right and customary that at the end of every work well done, there's always a big thank you. It also seems that there is no other word or words apart from 'Thank you' which could be used to express how grateful a man is to his fellow man. If there is, such is the kind I would use to show how grateful I am to our new school administrator and his lieutenants for a job well done.
No student in this compound had believed that any other block apart from the chapel, administrative office and the library block will be lit. But behold the saviour and salvation, the redeemer and redemption. Just as Christians look on Jesus Christ as their redeemer, the students of Heartland High Schools, I suggest, should take Mr Paul Ham and his supporters as theirs.
It was observed that immediately after Mr Carter's departure, the school started to decline. Despite the efforts made by the administrators who came after him, to restore that standard, the school was still declining. Finally there came a period of six month in which the school was existing on its past glories. Who would believe that Heartland High Schools would go back to its former standard, a standard where discipline prevails, a standard where students response to bells is recommended both by those who view from outside and by the students themselves, a standard where enough and well constructed paths are available for the students, a standard where the teachers don't release their efforts in executing their duties, a standard where you have to take only one gate in and out of the compound (in cases where you are permitted to do so). An if not you stay intact in the campus a standard where the students enjoy their readings with the aid of Electric lamps and a standard where discipline prevails at all levels.

Moreover the students are once again compelled to appear neatly and always in their uniforms, which in the past two years was regarded as things of the past. For the first time in history, of the school, we have formal opening and closing of official working days. Aren't all these things credits to our earthly redeemers? It is rather a pity to see that many people, not only the students, don't like discipline. While some people are praising our earthly redeemers for job well done, others are looking at them as being harsh. Yes call them stern men or whatever you like but remember they are doing justice. Note also that disciplinarians will never be good to those who hate discipline.
It is true that cooks are complaining that they are not allowed a moment rest. This may be because of they are not allowed to continue using their old system of coming to work every other day and there by turning up for only 15 days per month. At the other end, the labourers are talking of being used every minute. Not bearing in mind that our men are just trying to let them maintain their efficiency and loyalty to government they are serving.
And to extract that spirit and belief of earning without serving from them. It's only a blind man that should not be blamed for not seeing the changes which has consequently brought development to this campus. I believe the students will change their minds and join me in saying 'Thanks to the redeemers'.
My experience as a senior prefect has taught me a lot of lessons. Students in particular are difficult to control. And like all lawless citizens, students always believe they are hated when they are punished for one reason or the other. But note that punishments are ment for correction.
For my successors, I will leave a few words since my problem may one day become theirs. For instance making the two ends of academic and duty meet is always tideous since I am always expected to be everywhere. I am now looking for a day these things will become things of memory and I think I will be happy having done my best.
More to my successors I say be calm, straight forward, honest, just, an fair. Have determination and confidence in yourself and handle situations as they come. Do not allow the students to read you instead try to read them. Don't let them dictate for, nor control you. Don't say because you're small, let your bigger classmates have their ways, respect them dully and note that togetherness is much required of your prefects. Be vigilance and always try to speak to and convince the students on difficult issues.
Finally I am appealing to all the students to be calm and law abiding. And since it is nearly the end of my reign I have to express my gratitude to you for your cooperation. It is only natural that I have to quit but I will still remember you.

Principles of the world paganism on the mirror
The strokes of force of nature is so painful that it forces the door of my massage laboratory in my mind to open. Hence, pouring out these message of paganism found in the mirror of the world.
"It were better to have no option of God at all than such options as is unworthy of Him." So wrote Bacon. In the bustle of modern life in the world today, many abandoned their pagan practices but for those in the rural, backward and uncivilized tribal communities paganism still has a strong grip. Their pagan practices are mainly based on superstitions.
Superstition is the acceptance of belief or practices groundless in themselves and inconsistent with the community to which they belong. Animism, fetishism matcotism, voodooism, and Juju are superstitious practices. Animism is a belief that some objects like trees, rivers and wind have souls, while fetishism is there worshiping of such objects. Matcotism is a believe that some objects should bring good fortune such as the belief in "stars" which much emphasis will be laid on later. Voodooism is the belief in sorcery and witchcraft, while juju is the belief in amulets and charms.
By looking at the lives of pagans we find evil practices are very numerous. Human beings are sometimes sacrificed to gods but this is not uncommon. Juju causes much threat in the community. Witchcraft is the constant fear to them. Their lives are lived by terror. They believe any evil committed is punishable and offered sacrifices to please the divine spirits offended. It is this fact that may explain partly the good morals of the pagans. Apart from fear resulting from ignorance, the pagans are generally of good morals. They are simple and they believe very readily. With anxiety, the spread of Islam, Christianity and Civilization, paganism will soon lapse. But "if the sun is not afraid of the mass, let it shine at night." Not far from the fact, i wish to emphasize on mascotism which i gave an example as "stars".
The stars, one of the marvelous wonders of nature, have played a very important role in human destiny in the course of history. What a beautiful sight to see the many bright stars in the skies on a moonlit night. But alas, some people attach many beliefs to the stars. Often have i heard people saying such things as "I follow my stars, OR, Thank your stars." Many people will pursue their selfish aims even at the cost of human lives, and if carefully interrogated will tell you that they are stars have told them at one time or the other that they will be something in future; a rich man, or an important citizen. Thus they do all in their power to realise these prophecies. What usually sets me thinking hard is that a lot of these people claim to be Christians and it is to this group of people and to all interested ones that are now direct my speech.The first contacts that our Lord Jesus may with astrologers was when he was visited by the Magi or astrologers from the East and this quickly led to a murderous attempt upon his life.

It should be noted that God had never spoken to any of these prophet through the stars, rather he had often conveyed messages them through dreams and by his spirit, since astrologers of star gazers had something to do with demonism, to His people the Jews, he gave the following commands: "If a person turns to mediums and wizards, playing the harlot after them, I will set my face against that person and we will cut from among this is people - Lev. 20:6. Rebuking the abominable city of Babylon the prophet Isaiah, under God's inspiration wrote; "You are wearied with your many counsels; let them stand forth and save you; those who divide the heavens who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons predicted what shall be for you" Isaiah 47:13. Hence these star gazers cannot do you any good. God did not and would not notify them that His son had been born on earth. He notified the Jews who worshipped him, and that he did through his Holy Spirit and his angels.
Satan and his demons have the power to cause luminous orbs to appear to the vision of those subjects to their influence. God identified the son in the temple to aged Simeon and those in the temple, but there is no record that anybody else saw the 'star' which these astrologers claimed to have seen. Furthermore this 'star' did not lead them in Jerusalem to wander to Herod's place. On knowing the mission of the 'wise men' he asked the Jewish scribes and pharisees who quoted from Micah 5:2, then Herod sent the astrologers to Bethlehem with the ostensible reason of knowing the birth place, so that he too might go and worship the child. But what happened?. We are made to understand that the almighty God stepped in and Herod's plans were thwarted. By the devine warning in a dream they took another route home and after their leave and angel directed Joseph to take the child out of Bethlehem until Herod was dead.
You see that this 'star' let murderous Herod into the matter of Jesus birth. What did Herod do then? He arranged a dragnet of destruction to catch the baby Jesus by killing all baby boys according to the age limit he had calculated from the astrologers. All this proves that the 'star' was part of a plot of the devil to destroy our Lord and that God had Not sent the wise men either to Herod or to the child Jesus. He had no dealings with the astrologers or the star gazers. He strictly warns His people that astrologers cannot help anybody, rather it does the reverse.
Those who interest themselves in the "Your star" column in the news-papers must take note that they are enslaving themselves to demonism. Consulting the star is false.Before I draw the net of conclusion to my message i need to emphasize on the effect of voodooism from the rural pagans practices on our younger generations nowadays. Most parents who believe in paganism had by nature transfer this to their children that even their life of most people now is in a fix particularly the finalists, who are greatly intervened by these people act at night. These people people who called themselves "FEDRAK" which from the dictionary of my mind Means Federal Republic of Anti-Christ Kingdom, always make their work effective at night going - from one person to another pressing them. Then if i may ask, is this one of the directives of your stars?
Are you sure that you are not marring the temple of God which is your body by admitting this old Adam into your body? Or should it be admitted that you have forgotten the adage. If a man is deceived once the shame is on the deceiver but if twice the shame is on the person deceived. Why not flee from the devil, as the Bible says and let the same be on him. Though it is easy to roast and ant but very difficult to bring it out, yet it is wise thinking to me that if you pray all the time and accept Christ with full hope of salvation and faith in Him, He will never fail to avert the doom of your being menace to the people at night for you most what it may. Is non-profitable and tomorrow might be too late if you don't repent. Therefore look into your life again whether this act is not hood-winking you from good to bad.
Then to you non-Fedraks, it will be wise you could control yourself. Stand firm with the lord for in a crowd of thieves one cannot afford to be a saint. If you are advise them and they turn against you don't be discouraged but lit on for a child who does not cry when his father beats him will surely cry when they Society beat him as this is the end of my message.
