Everything We Have Is Just Luck, Life Is Never Fair.
A lot is happening in our world today and it has thrown a lot of people into confusion. The big question in everyone's mind is, why am I so unlucky while my friend who doesn't work this hard is earning more than me? Why is life so cruel to me?
No matter how satisfied we are, this thought or question has gone through our minds. How do you think life should have treated you? Nobody deserves the ill treatment or better treatment they got. Could it be it was so irrational sharing or was it just programmed to be so. I could not place my mind why I am fair skinned and she is dark skinned. Why am I short and she is taller? It seems things were not distributed the right way and that gives us a more reason to think life was never fair.
How do you explain to a woman whose husband was shot dead in the battlefield, when yours came back alive?
Sitting down at the park I saw a group of families playing and my mind flashed back to those without a father or a mother or some who lost both. I could see the pains hidden behind the smile of a lady whom the doctor said she had just 3 more months to live. Though she is smiling, her smile is just fake. She could hide her pains from all her friends but the only person she can't hide it from is herself.
A preacher once said, if you want the best of life, don't expect anything from it. I know this sounds silly but it is so true. Those who get the best of life are the ones who never wished for anything. All they ever wanted was just to live life and be happy and it worked out for them. Then there is another who only wants the flashy things and expensive kind of lifestyle but never gets it. To the person life is unfair but to life itself, it is just doing it's best.
Another proverb I am still yet to understand is, "you reap what you sow" Does this statement hold true? If it does, which set of people does it relate to because right now, a lot of people are at the verge of losing their sanity all in the name of planting Corn only to reap grapes. You are in for something good but it turns out to be the worst you will get.
Life has become a tale of survival of the fittest, an evolutionary theory postulated by Charles Darwin. You don't get what you want but what you are able to struggle for. No wonder Grandma once told me, "Every man is in charge of his own happiness." All you need to do is to find out what makes you happy and continue to do them. Like Darwin said, the brave ones will always survive while the weak ones will always die out. That is how life was programmed to be, no one can and no one will. All we could do is just to protest in our heart, "Can life be ever fair?" We are tired of celebrating others' victories and yet we have none to boast of. Even when we know we deserve the best and we try our best. At least life should be slightly fair so we could get the reward we truly deserve.
This is coming from a concerned heart. To everyone going through a phase in life that is painful, sorrowful and intimidating I plead with you to go through it knowing one day, it will pass away. Do have a beautiful time out there! Stay safe and be positive always.

Things are really hard for many people that all they want is to end their lives because they already lost hope but the truth is that, if we could just push a little bit, God will definitely make it worthwhile for us if only we believe. Things are hard but it will surely pass away. Thanks for this message 💕
