Ruthless Ruler 2:In the middle of the darkness

The son of the King have grown up a strong man his name is Marcus, who have become a great wild hunter in the island that he lived with his mother. The days passed by, and they have encounter a lot of wild animals in the forest, and his mother was too old already, that's why she built a tree house beside the island to keep his mom safe against any evaders like wild animals and predators.

It was a cold night and there is a sand storm that hit the place and the house was covered with dust. Marcus go somewhere to find food for his mother. He never knew that there will be dozen of villain troops who lived on the other part of the island which they don't encounter yet.

They destroy the house of Marcus and they take away his mother, they carry her with their horses riding. When the young man came back he saw that their house was already tear down and he called his mother, but he can't find it inside the house. But he saw a piece of cloth that was torn in the floor.

Marcus was thinking that his mom has been taken away by the goons, then he saw the footprints of the horses and he never waste time and he followed it right away. He wear his father's armor for battle and the King's sword which he kept for a long time inside the secret place where his mom have hide it.

He traveled against the coldness of the night, without clear destination and direction, only the horses foot that inspires him to continue walking along the way.

After a long walk, he saw a fire burning a few meters away from him, he ran towards the place, and he silently crawl on the ground so that nobody could see him coming. He saw a lot of men gathered around the fire and they are laughing and yelling so loud, it seems that they are having a victory party.

After a few minutes of waiting, he saw the men was carrying something it seems that they will make an offering to worship their gods. And he saw a lot of woman that has been tied on their hands and feet. Marcus have made a plan to rescue the women and also his mother who it captive by them. He uses his bow to kill the guards all over the place.

Suddenly, a loud voice of a lady was heard,, aaaaaaaahhhh, help.... .

She cried out for help, Marcus saw her who is placed on a big pot, after the water was already boiled in fire. The men that surrounds her was about to eat her alive. He realized that they are in the middle of darkness where the man-eating villain have lived.

He immediately go near the place and he burn down the small cube hut, and it creates a big fire, he blown the horn for battle which gives alarmed to everyone. He appeared on the roof of the place where the bad men have gathered. All of them was about to smashed him with their axes, sword, knife and even eat him alive with their sharp teeth, they have a fierce eyes and gnashing teeth.

But Marcus have close his eyes and he silently prayed which his mother have taught him when he was young. While he was using his father's technique in fighting. He extend his arms with a sword and he uses his senses to kill them all, he is like an eagle that flies and soar high in the lines of the enemy, nobody touches him even to scratch on his skin but they all died and their bodies have piled up on the ground. He land on the ground and his enemy were all defeated, Marcus was a victorious man who inherited his father's skills as a greatest fighter in the Kingdom.

All the ladies were happy to be free, and everybody was giving him praise and thank Him for what he did, "Thanks to you, My King'.

" I'm not a King but I am your faithful servant. "I'm glad to help you<Marcus said.

His mother came out from the ladies and hug his son so tight. But, Marcus find out that his mother was hurt and she was bleeding, she was hit by one of the men that took her.

Marcus cried so much, that she is about to lose his mother on that day. His mother touches his face, and said, "Promise me son that you will lived righteously, and help the people who needs you, just like what you did today".

Marcus couldn't even said anything, his mom is about to closed her eyes and he said, "I will Mom'.

He carried his mother and go back to the place where he buried his father, he dig, and buried her.

After Marcus have grieve for his mother, he start to travel, cross every dessert, mountains and forest until he came on the highest mountain and he saw the Kingdom where they came from.

Authors Notes:

In our life of existence, during the hardest times of our life, that seems everything is hopeless. One thing is for sure, there's someone who rescue us within the middle of the desert, someone who lift us up and take our hand to let us stand again and back to life.

For me, I was rescued by my king and give me life again, for being hopeless, and thinking that my life was wasted and nonsense.

He came to my life that inspires me and, take me to the greener pastures of life which I always long for. 👆🙏

He is my strong tower and refuge when I fall down, his arms have accept me and let me live again with meaning.

I'm glad that the King have rescued me.

"You are not hopeless!" "You are not forgotten". Your not defenseless. Your not meaningless. He is your armor and shield. He will rescue you.
