I was thinking of another topic to be posted here today and now I came upon thinking about my different encounters with my teachers and what do they do.

Teachers are living heroes of today, they teach us diligently and with patience. When I was a kid I wanted to be like them but now, I didn't want to, hehe because it's so tiring.

Okay let's proceed, here they are;

  • THE GIVER

When I was in grade one most of the time, I didn't have enough money to go to school, the highest amount would is 3 pesos or 1.50, haha what can you buy with that money today, maybe a piece of candy and ice water. But luckily I have a class adviser that is so generous to me, every recess time, she will call me and let me buy,"suman na balanghoy" and ice candy outside the school, that was the year 1997 or 1998, the price of the suman is very affordable, we can buy it for 1 peso, and ice water also for 1 peso. When I came back she will give me a piece of suman and ice candy. Until today, she's still teaching in our school and she's my uncle's wife.

  • THE WHITE HAIR

Have you experienced that your teacher called you and let you remove her white hair? Yes, I have a teacher like that, she's already old and she has a lot of white hair. She's not my adviser but once as pass in her room every lunch break, she called us and say, "ill give you something, but please help me to pull out my white hair", and she will give her puller and we did it. It was not a nice idea with what she did, because the students always talk about her and never pass her room every afternoon. She already retired now and was very old today, but she is a good teacher, she teaches us well.

  • THE FEARFUL

This is not our teacher that I will talk about, but she is our principal, she's often angry to us if we are not listening to her. One day, she called me to her office and let me washed her dishes, and I go after her inside the office, my hand was shaking in fear and counting my movements so that I can't break her glasses and plates. When she's mad she can do things undesirable to us like hitting our head on the board and sometimes throw chalk or eraser at us, she sometimes squeezes my side because I am not listening. The parents have reacted to the way she disciplined her students, that's why she was removed from the school, the parents have signed a petition order for her. Although she has undesirable character she managed the surroundings very well.

  • THE QUIET

This teacher is beautiful, and when she enter into our classroom she didn't talk a lot, she just let us noticed that she's already in while the students are very busy talking each other. She will write on the board her topic and sit on the table, she will rit e above the board" COPY", but when the students won't stop making noise she will stand with a loud voice and get out.She likes the class will participate the recitation, and the debate.

  • THE COOL beautiful LADY

This lady is very cool, why?Because she is very friendly and kind to everyone, she close to us , by letting us to go in her boarding house and chit-chat, cooked and eat there.Shes also very funny and talk about crushes, she very open to us with her personal life, crushes, and her experiences .Shes very thin and sexy, and always wear a short skirt and high heels, she very fashionable everyday with red lipstick and beautiful eyebrows. But what I like about her because she's very intelligent and she's good with English subject , she teaches us short poems and stories.Until today, she's a friend to all of us her students and she's still fashionable even if she's a little bit aged.

  • THE RELIGIOUS BUT ANGRY

Why did I describe her like this?It is because she is very nice to us, and care about us especially with related to our character and behavior as a student. She teaches verses in the Bible everyday before we start our class, especially the book of Psalms.I can't forget the lesson she teach us is about the twelve vowel sound, the dotted I, central bowel, open I, close o, and many more, she's really excellent of pronouncing them correctly, like but, cut, luck, sit, mat, pet and many more. But, beware if you will not listening to her and talk at the back and you'll receive a flying eraser or a chalk from the air.She gonna throw up her chalk box and books from the table, and even hit the board many times.Shes just a short tempered person , she gets angry easily, and even classmates didn't listen to her,we are all get low score as a punishment.Shes very lovable to students who will follow her instructions and she often smile and treat well. Today, she's already old and stays with her house and continue her passion for reading books.

  • THE RETIRED

I have a teacher who retired last month and she's teaching her in our place when she was still single, but now they are already 60 and have one daughter. Shes our grade six advisers who's very good to us. We spoke last month, and she said that her heart is still in school, it's so hard to remove with her system what she usually does every day. She said she's was always willing to help even if she did not teach here.

Teachers refer to us as our second parents, because we spend a lot of time with them in school. Their service is remarkable and will always be remembered as long as we are alive.

Who can become a president, lawyer, doctor, nurse, and many more if there will be no teacher who teaches us?

I have a teacher friend who already passes the board exam, and now he's teaching in a public school, but he didn't have already a good salary, he doesn't have a spot yet for an item. He just received a 5,000 pesos monthly allowance but His work is still the same. He has been denied twice when he applies for an item. So sad reality that, some teachers didn't have equal opportunity.

The teachers that I've mentioned, although they are all different I love them all and until now and forever I'm always grateful for what they have contributed to my life and to the next generations that they will teach.

For you, thanks for patiently reading this article of mine, I hope it will not waste your time. How about you what kind of teachers do you have?
