Grow like a tree

How did the tree grow? It's going upward, right? And as it grows bigger it also becomes stronger and firm, and a lot of birds will come into the tree and build its nest, and the people will like to be there and enjoy the shade of a big tree.

Grow maturely

Why am I talking about this topic? It means to me of becoming a mature person, who can just share love respect and sympathy with other people. Same as the tree grows bigger through times, I wanna grow like it too, to become stronger as the year's pass. The more years that a tree was exiting the toughest it is.

Speaking of being mature, I don't say that I'm already into it, I think I'm still in the process. A mature person knows how to handle emotions, and financial matters are responsible for every aspect of life, family, and work, and knows how to handle things properly, which I'm still learning to be like it.

Grow deeper, just like a root of a tree instead of being "sulky" - matampuhin

I don't like the so-called attitude "sulky", or matampuhin which I have even in small things, I easily get disappointed and discouraged. I want to become strong from the inside in which to learn to process my emotions without resulting in negative results.

To grow deeper means to me, getting into detail, and not giving an instant summary without considering the main cause of everything. Not to give judgment as easy as a snap, or giving a conclusion and making a decision without enough time of pondering. Slow to speak, consider the hearer, and gives sound advice.

Grow and give some shade to everybody

Have you known a person who is like friend material, the people would like to be with him or her because she or he is a person who is nice to be with.

I know someone who is like a friend to all, because of his personality who is mature, he speaks with a good tone of his voice, with authority, and he is also fun to be with. You know the feeling that you're just being safe and that he won't judge your weakness.

Just like a tree that shares its shade during a sunny day, where we can have fresh air outside under its branches that is full of leaves.

Be a tree that has a birds nest

What I mean is, that people feel safe, and welcoming when they comes with you and me, where they can find a good place to rest, someone to listen, and share. Be a good tree, where there's no harm but a comfortable place to be.

Be a shade of comfort

Trees can give us comfort when we feel the heat, it makes us feel fresh. And you and I can be a source of comfort too for someone who is having a hard time, a source of encouragement and positive enlightenment for somebody who feels confused and bothered.

Be a tree that bears good fruit

Every tree has its fruits, and flowers, as it grows bigger the more fruits it produces. But, have you seen some fruits that bear unhealthy fruits decayed, rotten fruits, it will happen when the tree itself is not healthy and has a problem. And a healthy good tree will bear healthy fruits too, which people love to pick up.

What fruits can we bear as humans?

Fruit of love, respect, gentleness, peace love joy, and a lot of good things that come inside us.

If we have a fruit like this that I've mentioned, it means that we are growing, and becoming mature people. The more fruit we can bear the more we are turning into a matured personality.

Did you know that as we grow bigger we also undergo the process of cutting? Just like a tree, there are some pieces of branches that are being cut and fall as they become mature, and the unwanted branches that are taken away, to grow bigger and capable of fruit-bearing. Same as through with us.

What kind of cutting can we experience?

Shaping our attitude through trials and testings

In every problem and circumstance that we passed, there's always a bright side to it, if we just try to examine it. There's a purpose for why things are happening to us, it may teach us to be humble and learn to obey. It also may process us to give love and respect to other people, and be patient which is a hard one. Along the process of cutting our negative parts of life, it may painful, but it's for good, and we will become a good-bearing fruit tree in the process.

As a parent, I want my kids to grow an as mature person so that they I'll be able to handle difficult things in the future. More than physical growth, maturity is very vital for us human, in facing trials in life in different ways is not easy.

The world as the years unfold have become worst, just like what happened recently, there are some cases that happened which makes me afraid for them, as they grow they can also encounter different situations in life, that will test their capability.

I want them to grow, bigger like a tree and deeper as well, our basic foundation in life, must be well established, so that they can be able to face the different waves of life that may come in their way.

My end notes

I am not really a perfectly grown mature person but I desire for it, because it's hard to live life on earth when we are just like a wave that goes wherever the wind blows us through.Becoming mature and have growth will help us survive and have courage to faced whatever ahead us by the grace of God.
