Amidst the pandemic

All of us nowadays were in a real life struggles,especially we are facing an invisible enemy which is the covid 19 virus. It changes all aspects of our life physically, psychologically, emotionally, financially, spiritually .But amidst all that happenings globally, how did the people coping from this very difficult situation.During this time is a test of who you are as a person a test of perseverance.

This pandemic is unexpected to happened,we are unprepare for this, and we're like chasing the wind to finding a solution ,it seems so vague at all. But God is good that even in times like this, he gives us wisdom to continue in our living, to providing our family needs.Were like crossing a wide bridge hoping that one day we can reach the end.

But as I have seen the people around me, I thank God that eventhough things are not going accordingly, we always find ways to live life in a way that still moving on. This are the things that most people do:

*Mostly women are planting flowers, in the Philippines they called it 'plantita ',these are women who have a lot of flower collection, and 'plantito', for boys who also loved to plant flowers.

All around the neighborhood were fun of doing it, also they make a homemade flower pots.

And by the way, what benefits if we are planting flowers in our backyard?I ask few ladies around they say that it makes them feel relaxed, and it relieved stress. When you see the beauty of it ,it's incomparable, it has its own natural image. It gives beauty to a bahay Kubo or a small house, even if it looks so simple but the flowers give a beauty on it.

Everytime that you see them bloom, it was a pleasant in your eyes. I think in this way God is still working.

*Others are fun also with fish, and put it in a aquarium.

It's something that you looked upon too while staying at home.

Others are became more productive to discover their talents like cooking, baking, online selling, tutoring and a lot more.How about you what did you do during your stay at home?

Let me say that there are also other factors with the lock down that many of us have realized.Let me give a few, more families who are far from each other now became closer to each other ,family bonding became stonger. The father and the mother are at home so they have time for their kids, a lot of overseas workers came home to be with their family, it became an answered prayer with their children that one day my father or mother will be home soon. Often times we call our loved ones on how they are doing, a lot of kids learn with household chores. And those who are working were getting home early. This things maybe just a few.

And as for all the women learn to prioritize things, like for example spending money, which one is most valuable to spend of, which one is not really needed. There are a lot of workers who lost their jobs, because the companies are getting lose already, but everyone was trying for new better ideas to earn money, like food delivery business, online selling,delivery man,and specially online job is the one that they used to do.

I also noticed that those couples who are getting married for how many years and didn't have a baby, and now they're getting pregnant, how amazing it is. But also, there are also young ladies we're getting pregnant this time. But inspite this happens a baby is still a blessing.

This one also I observe many people were going to church during this time, to attend Sunday worship service.I think it's kinda wake up call for us to come to the Lord.

This thing can't be denied electric bill were increasing. Many also have gained weight, and hair gets longer. This also reminds us to give importance with our health, to stay healthy and have a good lifestyle.

Amidst this pandemic there are ways to still find happiness and there are good habits that can divert our attention and focus.Should I say there's always a rainbow after the rain .

Life still continuous, thank God each day for a chance to live.Against all odds, love should still shown this time, and the sense of sympathy for people who suffer the disease.As for me, we will not lose hope but we should continue to pray for it. During this time it's a test of faith, on how you will react to the situation according to your conviction. To persevere, press on, looking forward to what God can do.
