"A happy life is closer than we think"
What kind of life did we ever wanted? Most probably, we want to live a happy life, especially when we experienced trouble, and chaotic kind of life, we really wish to be happy. We crave for happiness, and we always desire for it, that's why we want to satisfy our lives by doing what we want, buying lots of things, go on adventure and many more.
Based on the title, why do I say like "a happy life is closer than we think?
Here are some simple things that can makes us happy or happiest:
1.Freedom
Imagine yourself inside the four corners on a cell which you live alone and imprisoned for many years. How hard is that kind of life, right?Freedom may sound so simple yet, it's a great privilege that we have enjoyed each day of our lives.
Freedom means a great happiness, sometimes we can't appreciate it, but if we come to realized how blessed we are because we are free, there are some people that their freedom have been taken away even if they don't want to.
So, if you want to find a reason to smile today, this is one thing that you and I can point out to be grateful with the Almighty, that we are free. And also, we should also pray, for those who are not free in the outside world, that despite of their situation they can have the fighting spirit to be resilient inside the place wherever they are today.
2.Companionship
Today, I was with my parents and my siblings and having our time to eat together here in our bukid, my father used to cooked chicken for our viand. I realized that I should always be grateful today and everyday, as long as I am with my family and be able to see them face to face.
Companionship happens only while we're alive, those moments deserved to be cherished and enjoy e every single moment of it. Maybe sometimes we are annoyed with our siblings or other family members. But mind you, one day, when life is gone, our heart felt so empty.
So for today, enjoy your time having your family and love them always.
Right now, I'm cooking this law-uy, gulay, favorite food in bisaya version. I'm glad to cooked in my parents house, after many years of getting married I am able to help my mother again in household chores.
Speaking of companionship, that is one thing that my grandmother's regret when she is about to die. She often asked her children to come over and visit her but they are all busy in their business that's why she died with a sad heart. So, I've learned from it.
Happiness is at hand, we just don't noticed it sometimes, because we keep on chasing on greater things that we ever wanted. What I mean to say is that, rich or poor or whatever life status we may have in the present doesn't define with what we called happiness.
Life maybe unfair like what others say, when they are having a down time moments in their life. But, life is absolutely fair indeed when it comes to being happy.
Happy are the people who recognize the simplest things in life which are not need to be bought anywhere.
Today, which is Sunday, we visited one of the oldest women in the church she's turning 71 years old next. Recently, she is bedridden and can't be able to speak fluently because of stroke. As we can see her, she's still full of hope and able to smile when she see us. Here comes to the point the importance of our:
3."Presence"
Our presence is priceless, it's more than what cost we can mentioned when someone needs us,either a sick parents, grandmother or someone who waited for us.
We can make people happy, believe that you alone can make other smile or fill someone's empty heart.
May happiness will spread to all of us! Good day.
