Tomorrow We Become Strangers
Love fixed our hearts and our broken wings First time we faltered, the next flight bears the sting Souls tied and untangled but the mind plucks the string What agony it is to cover the ears in notes we can't sing Filling gaps with lies, it's never easy but we tried All the promises failed us, our valentine flowers has dried We demanded distance to make it all subside The blame was not over and the accountabilities are denied What makes the heart grow a little wiser? Is it the aftermath when the day gets a bit brighter? Or the peace of the night that sets us sleep and forget about the anger? We made ourselves fond of the night, so tomorrow we become strangers.

The heart is indeed treacherous. It learns from experience though. There's so much to think about in your poem. Muchas gracias.
De nada and thank you too for noticing my poem. Gotta express the heartache haha and poem is a great way to do it .
Hmmm it seems you are an insider in this poem , I felt your pain.
Sadness. Pain. I felt that emotion in this poem.
"We made ourselves fond of the night, so tomorrow we become strangers." — a summary of the pain . Funny how we used to talk to a certain person almost everyday, and then one day, you become strangers.
It's true. I dont even know how people are able to pretend not to know you after all the conversations
The song we don't talk anymore is a good song to similar to this😢
I can feel the pain to this poem, i think the writer undergo such pain.
Our existence is very fickle in other's minds. And mostly they will remember when they need you and then afterwards it goes back the way it was, like you never even existed.
Honest. Can make the heart a little wiser. And anybody can last to lust.
I can feel pain in your poem. This is too heartbreaking especially the last line.
Time really heals everything but sadly, it still left scars.
Yes. It does.
