Mistakes Makes Us Wiser

Many of the world's breakthrough invention were made off mistakes,not the original idea, but it paid off at last. Its all an ideology, your perception to how you want to view it, so many mistakes we have made, and many more we would make sooner or later, this is a concluded fact bound to happen, we knowing this is not a yardstick to quit and not keep trying. Mistakes doesn't announce its arrival before it happens neither does success, it just happens along life's walks, our actions are in our powers to control but to the results and reactions, we have little or nothing to influence it with. Nevertheless we keep trying our best whatever comes is an added knowledge making us wiser.

Do you know Christopher Columbus made a navigation error which led to the discovery of the great America we know today, this mistake could have easily been discarded but when we are ready to see possibilities in our tries and error, we'll be astonished as to how much we can gain. Your mistake is only a mistake when you accept it so, some things gotten via mistakes are what is trending now. Only the doer knows it was a mistake but the world took it up and celebrates it.

Over the mistakes made which were not the initial intention have proven to be a breakthrough, something beneficial to the world. I feel as though its God redirecting our paths to seeing a different area or getting a different substance that would be beneficial to mankind. He has implanted a lot into earth which we don't yet know of. Because we don't know of it, we can't plan towards it to get it, most of the times we see them when we make a different course, a honest mistake leading to a great discovery. No wonder we now have explorers as a full job, people who go to the nook and crannys of the world to find new things, they make all the moves they can make, see possibilities in making mistakes just hoping that one of this would pull in to favour their efforts. You never know what your mistake can bring in.

Like in my previous article where I discussed on how Thomas Edison tried 999 times before he could discover an electric bulb, 999 times already tells us he must have exhausted all possible formula he planned on trying, and was more probably coming up with fresh ideas even as he kept trying, this new formulations were all tries , not knowing if its surely going to work or not, that last try that finally worked was probably a mistake, he would have been shocked and happy all at once, maybe he hadn't jotted down the steps he took, just had to quickly get his book to put it down. Trying for 999 times and trying to write down each processes must have been cumbersome, at a point he must have pushed the book aside and just kept trying. Make the mistakes pick out the needed lesson and try again.

Its popularly said that when milk gets bad then it becomes yoghurt, yoghurt are more valuable to milk but it was only fermented milk. It doesn't end there, when this yoghurt gets bad too, it turns to cheese, and you love cheese more than you love yoghurt and milk, probably a mistake again, a mistake to let the milk get bad and a mistake to let's the yoghurt get bad too, but all this while these said mistake were only birthing forth something more outselling, its a mistake you call it, its a breakthrough another calls it. That mistake you're scared to make is probably the needed speaker to announce you to the world. Get trying today.

Practice makes perfection they say, but what is in this practices that makes us perfect, its the wisdom we get over time from the practices, what best to teach a man than experience, experience is the best teacher, those mistakes are added to your collection of experience, they only make you wiser, should someone else be trying to do what you did and failed, you can easily call out their attention and help with some useful tip. Don't be afraid to try, we all want things to work perfectly as planned, but it won't be so every time, other times we make mistakes, we don't stop, the worst that can happen is another mistake, and who knows what such mistake might lead to.

Alexander Flemming who invented Penicillin which is actively used all over the world today did so out of a mistake, yes that penicillin was a error what brought out another possibility. Many singers on life stages makes mistake that got their audience screaming. Some great story lines where from the writer quest to keep flowing even after he has made an error.

Don't stop, don't quit, don't be scared of mistakes, mistakes are needed, they add to making us perfect.
