Indeed A Good Name Is Better Than Riches

We live in a world where it seems apart from wealth, nothing else matters anymore. Already we aware that money answers to everything, so why shouldn't the acquisition of money be the best quest that any man should embark on. However growing up we are being told a good name is better than riches of Gold, it sounds sweet to chant it up, but we never truly see it for what it is. What is a good name, what makes a good name, how do we measure up to the standards. A good name is better than silver and gold, others says a good name is better than sacrifice. Indeed a good name is something we must care about then.

What makes this good name? Do I know any who has a good name, or should I say everyone who lives life free of troubles and hate has a good name, moreover they are living a peaceful life, they are not hurting anyone and also no one is hurting them for an exchange. Does it go beyond helping someone, being of great help to another person, I guess if they wanted to describe you afterwards, they would say "that lady or that guy is a good person " isn't it? So could this also be the good name we should be aiming to achieve.

If I would say, I'll say that all these aforementioned are all inclusive, a good name doesn't keep trouble around , a good name isn't one to deliberately hurt his or her neighbors, a good name is one ready to help anyone they can. A good name is one who is faithful to the law, all this and more categorizes a good name, it's a trait not everyone can get. Now they say it's better than money, they taught us that this good name is better than riches and wealth, and there is where the controversy starts. Everyone of us are use to the chant, but as we grow we see more reasons to disclaim that chant.

So I wanted to confirm by comparing the difference between getting a good name and the pursuit for wealth, which should we focus on, especially judging from some main angles of concerns. Angles like background, age, opportunities expose to and so on. So we look into a good name, what it has to offer in comparison with what the other factors like money, wealth, popularity and other quest on the human race. What does a good name offer to us generally that makes it stand out? I'll share a little. Follow through.

Trust

You can get all the money and wealth of the world and still not be trusted, trust doesn't come off from bribery or wealth status, trust comes off from actions done and watched overtime. The more sincere a person is would ensure how trusted he or she gets. Everyone can comes to the kings court to make merry and enjoy themselves. Even they go as far as telling the king he's the most trustworthy king ever, but all that are just for favoritism. They still would trust that normal man who has truly deserve the more trusted slot. The only difference here is that one used money to fool himself thinking he is truly trusted. Whereas the other has shown and proven he's trusted without a penny.

This also is very applicable to life. So many feel they don't have any issues and all would be alright once they get money, like money automatically makes one the best human. Truly everyone needs help from a rich person, but not everyone would want to stay a rich man who has a bad attitude, especially those who cannot be trusted. We want them to help, we want money, but do we kill ourselves because of that? There is a limit to how a person is and everyone would say "you know what, keep your money, I don't need it" but with that good man trying to be a good man, you feel more comfortable and relax to follow, which of course would benefit the man too.

Legacy

A good name is a great legacy laid down, good people have rewards, it's a sure benefits of being good, as surely as the law of seed time and harvest continues, the law of how you lay your bed continues, similarly we staying and being good has a loads of benefits ready for us to enjoy and surely we would enjoy it. So being good is a great laid down lifestyle for others to follow. Money can be given, money can be earned, wealth can be transferred even without we deserving it, but a good name is a choice, for whatever reason we choose to stay good and it stays that way. Surely the benefits would surface and be evident, so others can learn and emulate.

A good name is bette than sacrifice, so many great men and women have done remarkable things here on earth even without having a dime or having very little, however some soon got riches as a benefit of a job well done. That not withstanding choose to stay good. Moreover we have a good father, Jesus came and got a good name, our mothers, fathers, teachers, are all teaching us on how to live a good life and keep a good name. I need you to stay good, today, stay good tomorrow, start this walk, staying good is good.
