At the beginning I used to hear many of my clients report that when life gets in the way, when this happens or that happens then they get stressed.
I didn't address their stress and anxieties first.
When we get stressed of course, we usually get stuck, overwhelmed and busy causing disruption on our positive habits.
This is neurobiology and the stress effects our decision making and disrupts our endeavours to achieve goals.
When positive behaviours are interfered with then even the best pep talks are ineffective in getting us back on track.
So what I did was to address the clients stress levels first.
Helping them out of their current anxiety so that they feel ready again, more able and willing to continue those positive behaviour that achieves their goal.
When we're under stress we can't focus on and take action on the things we need to do right now.
We prefer to sweep our goals under the rug and put off by them until we're relieved of overwhelm and stress.
Resolving stress clears a way for the body, mind and spirit to have a chance to get grounded.
After I can help my client clear the stress away I often have a clearer path to facilitating progress and results.
This allows clients to experience prolong periods of progress and results right from the start.
