Just what I was missing!
Date: Monday, April 25th 2022.
That topic is, in itself, a really weird and out-of-the-box kind of topic. I tend to want to overboard with my writings most of the time, but somehow, I cringe at the knowledge of me being called a cheeky writer. Forgive me, I only do that cos' 1. I don't know what Title to give this Article. 2. I'm totally excited now that I'm probably giving off a strange vibe with the way I'm writing, but I guess some writers go through this phase, no? And, 3. I, sort of, had a swell day.
Today went exactly as I thought it would the moment I opened my eyes to the "break of dawn". (I wonder if that's a phrase I can use?). I spent all of the previous night thinking of doing a thing or two, and boy was I so glad that I somehow managed to fulfil them. Like when I read no less than 10 Articles - I understand that it's not much but, it's something., then reading a novel titled "Looking for Alaska". I could say that it was pretty much in the offing, that I'd be reading books in that regard.
Thoughts on the book - "Looking for Alaska".
I must say that the very moment I started reading I held a certain kind of expectation. "Would it be an extremely boring, and unrelatable one?", Or "Would it satisfy the long-starved hunger I had for something exciting?". In the same manner as the initial line of thought I was still rather fascinated about the "author of the book - John Greene", than the book itself. So far, I've been floored by it's engrossing and literary simplicity.
Each turn of the page held an air of anticipation. I never wanted to take my eyes off it, (...not until I realised I needed to do the needful for today's post). I just want to finish up and go back to reading. As far as the storyline goes, I'll say it's pretty much top notch.
The last time I felt this way was when I read Summer lovin' by Carly Phillips.
What's even more brilliant is the fact that it's been adopted into a mini-series. Right now, I'm utterly and totally torn up about either completing the novel BEFORE the seeing the series or, vice versa. However, I wouldn't want a mix up in the story if I were to download and watch, while simultaneously reading the novel, right?
Bestie also had a pretty good idea of the movie, and we talked about it for awhile. However, I reminded her not to give off the important details that might kill all the fun out of it. I don't like spoilers. It was strictly a no-spoilers convo.
I just thought I'd give an update to the latest happenings from my side. I hope you all had as much fun today, too.
Thank you for sticking with me.
Until we read again.
:)
I honestly did'nt have a hobby to read books ,and when I am joining here I learned that reading is fun and I learned a lot from it🤗
