Have all you here are fully vaccinated? Got boosters? Had quarantined? COVID? And have you all finished writing all about your experiences in this pandemic?

The answers are all up in our minds, do you find my article similar? But let me share with you all my worst and good experience in this pandemic. Way back 2020, two years ago before our city went quiet, no worries and happy. When we heard the first ever victim here in our country, year 2020 30th of January CoV-2 viral RNA was reported to be detected by PCR on the initial swabs she was identified as the first confirmed COVID-19 case in the Philippines.

We was then alerted, my husband's work is in Manila so he is much exposed on viruses. I was afraid he might be infected so I asked him to stay and file a leave because it's more worst if he'll be sick. But he didn't listen, he continued his duty and after few months our President Rodrigo Duterte declared a state of public health emergency. He suspended all the classes, malls, transportation, and other working facilities the only one left is essential stuff which is highly needed such as medicine and food. As I heard the news uncontinued work of our fellow man will still feed us in a few months time.

So pilipinos went on panic buying, malls are often full before it was totally close face masks and alcohol are running out of stock. And I only have is panic but dont have a lot of stuff to buy.. I was dizzy after having a long length queue, I needed to withdraw in the ATM machine and it went hours just to get the money and it wasn't finished yet I needed to stock milk for our baby. All of sudden I need to fall in line again at its more longer rather in the ATM machine. But I skipped, I'll find another drugstore and luckily I bought 2 jars of milk hope it will suit my daughter's need for a while.

Advantage..

The advantage of the pandemic is I was the only one left earning, how? I was selling eggs everyday. And it went well I need to sell about 250 eggs or more it was packed by 10s and I was riding in our mio and we put it on a pale hang in front of the Motorcycle. And I was living here by decades people are buying at me. Those eggs that I selled out are going to buy food for the ducks, my brother in law can't afford to abandon them because its take a lot of investment in having those ducks. And selling it will probably risky so we leave no choice but to feed them. Before the pandemic we have regular customers who picked up those eggs so if they will lay eggs everyday the income will turned around, no worries and hassle but the company also went close and the ducks will not stop laying eggs. We have about 400 girls which cost about 200 peasos each or 4$. I was early in the road before 7am I need to be my in-laws house I only have boiled egg and coffee for that morning and after selling the first batch I will have my breakfast then afterwards I will sell the second batch. It takes about more than 3 hrs to finish it. I will go back straight home and I'll just get 200 to 250 pesos that day or 4$. Luckily I have my daughter and husband doing the chores that was meant for me, like cooking, bathing cleaning. But I often do the laundry and take a rest day..

I Sold more fresh eggs rather than salted, salted are very hard to make but our customers loved it

My husband also got a chance to take a rest because their company ordered them stop if they want but the one could stay will have more salary buy there's no way out. Months before you will have a day off. My husband choose to stop in order to rest and be with us. He has nothing to worry because he can fetch fish for us to survive. Luckily the salary is continued even if it's not like before but it will help us buy our needs. And we also got the chance to be together and I enjoy the rest of his vacation.. but after 2 months he needs to go back to work. And after 3 months I also stop selling eggs because the lock down were turned into MECQ or Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Disadvantage..

Well, I got tired and thirsty the pail is also heavy there small streets so I need to walk. But because we are to used to hardships we leave our selves do it the way it should be. "The chances are take or leave it " but I was afraid that I might brought the virus in our house so after I got home I disinfect my self before going closer to them.. and we never get a chance to go to malls and my kids misses those days and I also told to pray so the virus will washed away and never came back.

Conclusion..

I didn't expect that I will earn this time of crisis I know it's not that much but I got the Chance, again to help my family. And before going home I brought them snacks and we eat, rest and bond together. But sometimes I miss those days every day i see different smiles of people looking at me and I got the chance to talk to them even a bit of time and that's how the virus never set as apart..
