World Peace Please
Have you heard about the news concerning the invasion of Russia in Ukraine? They began the conflict and people residing in Ukraine are already fleeing their houses and starting to migrate to another place. The terrible aspect is that I am seeing now a lot of children who are weeping hearing some bomb blasts everywhere. In case you didn't know the reason why Russia attacked Ukraine, let me offer you a quick summary of their conflict.
Source: US News https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2022-02-24/explainer-why-did-russia-invade-ukraine Since I am a Filipino and I am also not aware of the wars years ago, I read different articles regarding this, and based on what I understand, Putin believes that Ukraine is still part of the area of Russia that is why he doesn't like it when Ukraine prepares to join the NATO, (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). NATO is a collection of 30 member nations that pledge to work together to maintain the security of the Northern Atlantic area. But because Ukraine is not a member of NATO, this alliance of countries who are members of this organization is not obliged to defend Ukraine.
Because the invasion already started, many are afflicted. The financial markets went bearish, oil and gas prices are up, the economy shrinks and of course, individuals in the impacted nations are losing their livelihoods and lost their properties, houses, and even their families. The whole world is really affected. We have no idea what more will happen in the next few days. The tension can become worse, or it might stay longer and what's worst is if World war 3 truly might happen. I also seen different opinions in Tiktok and Facebook. Some says that America is instigating the rift between the Russia and Ukraine. Some says that it is America's tactics for sure. The world is definitely different now. It used to be affluent and extremely calm before. We are still fighting a pandemic and it is following another battle between the two countries. What if the conflict merely escalated? What if other big countries also start invading weak countries? How about us, who lives in small and not so powerful countries?

But if a specific individual or set of organizations desire to create this dispute worse, how selfish are they? How could they allow this be happening? Why are not they considering the children that will be affected and will lose their rights to be in a peaceful place? People who will read this essay, let us all pray for global peace. We don't need to battle for power. We are all equal so no one has to suffer due to man's hatred and cruelty. Whoever started this invasion or war, let us all united for peace. Please, the world we live in today deserves to be peaceful. **Let us all make the world to be a better place for future generations.**

It's really painful langga seeing those children who struggle and I know some of them didn't aware what happened on their country. I have a teary eyed when I saw a lot of pictures. I couldn't believe that war is going to exist. We are facing pandemic but here's another one. The war of Russia and Ukraine. 😭💔

It is sad reality of international politics and power gaining policy. What USA did in Iraq , Afghanistan and Libya along with allies . Now Russian government doing that mistake exactly. It is bulls fight and ordinary people dying . This war seriously will change the shape of economy of Ukraine also the world. We will effect by inflation and high prices of fuel and gas which will spike the prices of commodities.
Yes, because of the war, everything here in this world is affected.
Not just it was part of the USSR back then, but also the nuclear plants and weapon that was left there when it separated from the USSR. Also, because of its location wherein, anyone could have the power to regulate the borders of east and west Europe if they can have Ukraine. The abundant oil and crops of Ukraine also are of big interest. That's is what NATO is after Ukraine also, just the same as Russia. A country wouldn't help another country if they don't have interests in the benefit that they can gain from them unless it is purely an act of generosity.

Sana naman matigil na ang gera. Wala naman talaga tayo magagain sa gera, kundi it is a lose for both parties. Let us hope na hindi na madagdagan ang mga bangayan. Let's pray for world peace.

World needs a peace. It’s heart wrenching to see the news of death every day. We can only hope and pray of the best for both countries.
We badly world peace right now, but the war between Russia and Ukraine is unstoppable this time unless the President will said so

Di din kasi natin talaga alam sino at ano tunay na nangyayare since ilang taon na in pala ung alitan...
We tackled this last 2nd semester sa SocSci subject namin and I can still remember a bit of it. Yes, valid reason ni Pres Putin kasi ang iniisip din nya is baka ang ending kapag naging member ng NATO si Ukraine is masulsulan ni US which is possible na mag-cause ng mas malaking conflict between two big nations. Kaya nga lang, di kasi maganda naging results ng moves ni Pres Putin. Ang laki ng consequences and ang daming naha-harm which is mas dumadami pa nga. Sana lang talaga eh ma-resolved na kaagad. Open naman both nations for a peace talks eh, sadyang di lang din siguro madali kasi nga ang laki na ng damages. Pero sana maya-maya lang eh maging okay na. 🙏
