The city trip

Good Evening, everyone!
Today, I am here with my personal experience of a city trip, the 2013 trip was not actually a trip it used to be a tradition in our school that all the freshers who joined the school since coming from different backgrounds, some belong to the remote village, some from cities and some from other small town or district headquarters. And since our school was the one located in the state's capital (Lucknow), according to the tradition we were to roam the entire city and visit the locations especially meant for Kid's entertainment but no one could have thought or had any idea what we are actually going to visit.
A bus was booked for a whole day by the school authority for an entire day and we were given instructions that on a decided ( I do not remember the exact date) Sunday we have to be in our 'MUFTI' and have to finish the early breakfast by 0700 hours so all of us gathered on the desired place in the school premise for counting and after that, we all occupied a seat for ourselves.
The bus proceeded and we cheered up with all our energy to the name of school ( it was also a tradition of us that whenever we used to go out of the premise of the school campus together we used to shout in the name of school) and after an hour or little more we reached a place called as 'SCIENCE CITY'. Everyone, literally everyone gave a face to ourselves because we thought that we would be taken to some exciting thrilling place or places like heritage sites of the city ( there's a lot in our city you can search them).
But anyway it was already our first destination we deboarded the bus and we went inside the science city and we were given time that we need to be reported to a particular place (which was decided by the teacher) after exploring in an hour and when we entered the science city we saw and read many instruments of physics, chemistry, and biology and also like environment, this building was around 5 storeyed as I can remember and we were roaming the same floor twice or thrice because we were not interested in those science things.
You would have definitely been a bit more excited if I had tagged the photos but none of us used to have phones back then
So, after anyhow completing our exploration in the science city experiment's building we reported to our teacher and they took us to a 'BIG CIRCULAR PLANETORIUM' called as "INDIRA GANDHI PLANETARIUM" (you can google it) we occupied a seat and this was something which excited everyone because this was like a circular theater and the chairs can tilt almost 180 degrees to allow you to watch the entire planetarium screen in which there was another knowledgable content being played on but anyway, we as kids take the fun out of chair hahaah.
We proceeded to a 3D theater which was there in the science city, occupied a seat, and were provided with 3D glasses (first and last time experience of many of us in 3D) a movie was played which I do not remember what was that but there were big snakes in that like Anaconda and it felt like they are roaming just below your chairs and they are surrounding you from all around and they are just going to eat you. Amidst the movie I actually removed my 3D glass to see if there is really snakes in the room haha (anyway it was my first experience and I came from a remote village).
Our movie finished and then we reported back where the bus was parked and after giving count we occupied seat.
We then were a little optimistic that they will lead us to some exciting place and we even conveyed it to our teachers and they said yes this will be interesting but again to our disappointment they lead us to a huge park named "DR BHIM RAO AMBEDKAR MEMORIAL PARK" any way we deboarded, get our entry tickets, and were instructed to explore the park for about an hour, and we were like Damn! why we need to explore this park where what we actually were getting to see was young couples, boyfriends-girlfriends, and we were the only ones in the whole big park who were walking here and there just with our batchmates (all boys) haha to be exact 55 boys.
Everyone who we walk past used to give a look and I was like 'What the hell, they brought us into the park I mean literally parks are the places where normally we see married couples, or unmarried couples young boyfriends and girlfriends. While walking the park I along with a few others reached a greenhouse in the park and we saw a little inside it.
After some time it started to rain and I get wet because I forget the returning path (it is one of my negative points that I do not remember the paths) But running here and there I finally found the path which I FOLLOWED to return back to the entrance and then we again gave our counts and we boarded the bus and reached back to school.
After reaching school we immediately went to our blocks and dormitories and changed ourselves and started cursing the teachers and school for this boring trip and ruining our only holiday of the week which is Sunday.
In the comment section tell me how was your first 3D experience in a theater.
Also, tell me what is the sister city of your city. The lucknow's sister city is Brisbane and Canberra.
Thank you all. I hope you liked the content.
I can see how beautiful those memories are , because you seem quite happy recalling those trips. Sainik school has indeed moulded you in a gentlemen cadet.
