Why are ladies the victims of evil on our campuses?

I just can't fathom this anymore. Why are there so much evil on our campuses in particular and ladies are always victims. This world is a mystery. Like I wrote in one of my articles https://read.cash/@Tife./fragility-c8fda4d4 . I wrote that women are fragile but I can't understand why.

Sophie got admission into a federal university. She was from a humble background. She worked in private schools for two years while seeking admission. She got her admission letter and went with few things she could gather. Her parents were Farmers and were struggling to put body and soul together. After the first year results were released, she was the best student in her department. Her brilliance attracted many people to her, both friends and foes. One of them was Roland. He had a particular interest in her and he made several advances to be noticed by her. Sophie was not ready for that kind of relationship and she told him in clear words but Roland was not ready to quit. He sent several messages professing his love to her and even sent some of her friends to her. She eventually agreed after much persuasion to befriend him.

The relationship started on a good note. There was no morning or evening that they don't spend at least an hour on video call so she didn't have time for studies again. The love that she had for Roland consumed her thinking and was taking away her interest from her studies. She travelled home on a weekend to see her parents. Her mum had gone to sell some things at a far away market and wouldn't be back till the following week. Her two siblings were around too. They ate dinner and everyone retired to bed.

She was alone in her room. She called Roland to speak to him as usual. She was so much engrossed in the conversation that she didn't know when her dad entered her room. He heard all the conversation and he warned Sophie to beware of that boy and be contented with what her parents could give her. He also warned the boy over the phone to stay away from his daughter.

Sophie would not listen. She complained to Roland later that her GP had dropped but he didn't mind. After sometimes, Roland told Sophie that he was sick of love and couldn't hide his feelings any longer. Sophie was surprised. She told him she couldn't do it. Roland tried touching her but he rebuffed his advances. They were alone in the lecture room for night class. Roland decided to take advantage of the lonely environment to lure her. Sophie fought back. She slapped and pushed him back. He fell on the next table. They were both quiet for some minutes after which she began to beg him.

Roland could not believe a lady slapped him. Sophie tried touching his hand but Roland slapped her back and told her that he never loved her and that his friendship with her was only a game he was playing with his friends. The game was that if Roland would successfully sleep with Sophie, then a large amount was stated to be given to him because Sophie was regarded as a very strong lady.

DEAR LADIES,

We don't know why we are always at the receiving end. But, let's be mindful of the way we live our lives. Let's accept that we can't change our fate and stay safe.
