Cinderella and the lost shoe

Lead Image from unsplash Dancing on the floor with her long time crush, Ella forgets the time. When the bell rang, she remember what the fairy-god mother had said. "Go home before twelve midnight for everything will be returned". She rush to the stairs and forget to bid the prince a goodbye. As she came down the stairs she left her shoes but she has no time to return. So, she chose to leave the shoes rather than returning her old self infront of the prince. On the other hand before the dance started the two step sister and her stepmother was there looking intently to the prince presenting her daughter. But when the dance had started the prince found a beautiful girl who came late and chose to dance with her instead. The stepmother look at the girl and it's so familiar. She couldn't confirmed if it's really her because she forget her eye glasses. There is only one way to confirmed and that's when she got home. While her two daughters were busy eating the food in the table, she grab them and drag them outside to go home. The house was silent and no one is home. She checks all the work she assigned to Ella before they leave and it's all done. She went to the maids quarter to Cinderella's room but she's not there. "Where is that little brat?" She mumbled to herself. And she starts looking for her in the mansion. Since the house was so big, it took her hours to checked all the rooms and area in the house. She's almost done and it's midnight there is only one place she did not visit and that's at the back yard in the garbage area. She got suspicious if Ella wasn't there then it's confirmed it's her who wandered around the palace and dance with the prince. When she came into the backyard she saw Ella humming like a bird and dancing happily along the garbage. "There you are, you little brat!" "Oh, mother! What are you doing here? I thought you were in the palace attending the ceremony?" Confused if she would believe it or not. She wasn't able to reply immediately. "Mother? Is there anything you would ask for me to be done? "No. I wanted to ask if you where here the whole time?" "Yes, off course mother. I finished all the task you have given." "Good." "Get inside and go to your room now." "Yes, mother" Wew it was a close call. If isn't with the help of the fairy-godmother Ella would have get caught by her stepmother. She went to her bedroom and sleep happily. When the morning came and the prince had announcement of visiting every maiden who came to her party to fit the lost shoe. And who ever would fit the shoe will be the one to marry the prince. Ella's stepmother get too excited and hurriedly woke up her daughters. But not Cinderella. She lock her up in her bedroom instead. When the prince assistants arrive in the house, the horn was blown to announce their arrival. Hearing the horn Ella wanted to know what is happening but when she tried to open the door, she couldn't. It was lock. She called her fairy-godmother to asked for help. She immediately dialled her phone and asked her if she could come and freed her. The fairy-godmother agreed to help her. Since it was morning she couldn't use her magic to fly to got to Ella's place. So, she decided to walk and plan to enter through the back door so that the stepmother would not notice her. The assistants announce what the prince has to say. It was Anastasia's turn to fit the shoe but her feet is too small. It's Drizella's turn but her feet is too big. The frustrated mother help her daughters to fit the shoe but it won't. She commanded the assistants to help her daughters fit the shoe but it won't. The assistants retreated and asked if there is another maiden in the house who could try to fit the shoe. But the stepmother answered hurriedly that the is none other than them. The assistants were suspicious because the house is big and there is no one other than them. "You have any helpers madam?" "No, we have no helpers here." Continued looking the assistant saw a maiden just pass by. Hurriedly the assistant called the maiden who sneaks into the maids quarter. "Hi, there! can you come here and try to fit this shoe?" She couldn't disagree because she seen how shocked and puzzled Ella's stepmother upon seeing her. "Of course." Seeing the shoes she's shocked. She put it on and the assistants was joyful of seeing the shoe perfectly fitted on her. The search is over. The assistants hurriedly assisted her into the carriage and send her to the palace. And the fairy-godmother married the prince and they live happily ever after. "Did you like the story?" the fairy asks her daughters. Fairywan: yes. Fairytoe: no, mother. Fairytree: I have so many questions mother. "Yes. What is it? F*tree? F*tree: why is fairy was called a maiden if she's already a god-mother? "Because, last time I check fairy doesn't get old, F*tree." F*tree: oh! I see. F*toe: how about the shoe mother? Why does it fit to the god-mother when it was Ella who used it in the party? "Because Ella just borrowed it from the god-mother". F*toe: Was it? Oh, I didn't know that. "Yes it is, F*toe" F*wan: Mother I have question too. "Yes, go on F*wan?" F*wan: why did the stepmom got shock when she seen the god-mother. "Off course, she is. Because they know each other." 3 daughters in unison " how come?" "Because they are both mothers. Make sense?" 3 daughters: ohhhhh ! yes mother. " Okay, now get some sleep. Bed time story is over.
