A Big Blow To Twitter

To be fair and honest when I wrote about the 'Twitter Deal' a few months ago. After a week this thought came into my mind. What if Elon is trolling them and will manipulate the deal in the future and it's true it happened. You would be aware of the information that Elon has rejected and backed off to complete the $44 billion deal with Twitter for the reason that Twitter isn't providing any data about the bot or spam accounts.

Elon has always been the smart kind of guy who has a way to implement what he wants and so he is doing with Twitter. Can you see the impact of his decisions? When he announced the deal the Twitter stocks skyrocketed and when backed from the deal it dumped like crazy. Anyone will be angry at this behavior, haha.

What's Happening?

For now, Twitter has filed a case against Elon for backing off after accepting the deal. And this isn't the first time someone back off from such a huge deal. There were many deals in history like this, I can't remember about them but I'm sure there were. Don't want to take any data from other sources so do a bit of research if interested, sorry. And when they take this type of matter to court. Most of the time the deal seals off by decreasing the amount. There haven't been many cases which charge the faulty one. And so I think the same came will be for Elon. He will evade the fine and close the deal at a cheaper rate. That's my belief who knows if Twitter can beat him in his manipulative court game.

But that's another matter. And Twitter really needs a revamp and a lot of improvement compared to other social media platforms. It looks the same as in its year of launch which was in 2006.

The social media platforms mainly earn from the sponsored advertisements they do on their platforms like ads that you see on Facebook and Instagram. And Twitter holds only 1% of the digital market advertisement while Instagram and Facebook contain around 20-25% of the digital advertisement market. The largest share is of YouTube.

Some reasons showing Twitter holds no competition in the digital advertisement market:-

• The reason is due to no actual development in the platform. Both insta and FB are updating a lot in terms of advertisements and so people and businesses-related sectors see it as a good source to invest. There is no change in UI and due to this, you won't use Twitter for a long time compared to other social media.

• Less user base compared to other platforms like Fb has Billions of users while Twitter has millions of which 20-30% are bots and spam accounts.

• You can't post big tweets and replies. Even the noise has bigger limits than it.

Final Thoughts

I don't know who will win the court battle but I do know Twitter needs a lot of improvement in its platform to attract genuine people and to increase their share in the digital advertisement market. If you aren't into Twitter it's good because it's a very toxic place to me where big people tweet the dumbest and most propgandical tweets. Noisecash is a far better platform compared to Twitter.
