Rest in Peace!

Philippians 1:21: For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

It simply implies that living with Christ is the best thing that we can ever experience while we are still living and when we die, it doesn't mean we are a loser of how we live life instead it is a victory because you know in you that you are with Christ. And knowing that living in Christ is more than like winning a lottery. It means that your soul is safe because we are with the Son of God. The Redeemer and our Savior. So, if we die, it's not a problem at all. It is a victory. 😇

Hello, read cash family. How are you? How's your day? I do hope that you are all okay. Regarding the Bible verse above, my topic for today is related to death. I know that some of you already know regarding the health condition of my mother-in-law. Right? Since I already shared here about it. I will not also hesitate to share with you the latest update of my mother-in-law.

It was just yesterday when we know the news. It was evening already. My husband came home from work around past 6 pm. When he arrived, I let him take care of our baby because I need to cook our dish that evening. While I'm cooking, my baby and my husband had their quality time together playing and laughing. His phone was on the silent mode the reason why he didn't answer the phone calls of her sister. My sister-in-law was also calling on my phone but I didn't hear any call because I was busy cooking in the kitchen. I was not with my phone.

After cooking, I called my husband to eat. When we were at the table starting to eat, my phone suddenly rang because of a phone call. And it was his sister calling. My husband went outside our house and start talking. His sister told him that their mother was already passed away at 5 pm. My husband as he back inside our house and join us to eat, saw in his eyes that he cried even I didn't see it in my eyes that he did but it is obvious that he cried. So, I told him to just be calm. I comforted him saying "it's okay, we are here for you". And he nodded.

After done eating, we dress up and went to my mother-in-law's house together with our baby. It was 8 pm when we arrived there. The place is still dark because it doesn't have yet electricity. The electricians are still fixing it. When we arrived there, his sisters are already there. They didn't cry maybe they are done crying because I saw in their eyes already swollen. I was about to cry when I saw Nanay lying and still covered with cloth but I suppressed myself to do not. Just a shed of tear. I calm myself and just inhale deeply. I pray to God lifting everything to Him.

The whole family was mourning because one member has already been taken away from us by God. At the same time, we feel happy because Nanay will no longer suffer from her illness. We know that she went so much. She already suffered and was tired. At least now that she is now in the hands of God, she is now free from her illness. No more pain. No more struggle. No more stress. No more problem. We know that Nanay is already happy now and we are happy too.

We know that missing someone is not easy, it is very painful. But what we can do? We don't hold her life. It is not our life indeed. It just borrows from God. So, only He has the authority to when He will take it.

May her soul rest. Yes, she may be gone in our sight, but she will always be in our hearts forever. Her memories will remain treasured in our hearts. We will surely miss her. Her kindness and generosity will be forever engraved in each of us. We are so thankful for everything she did for her family. Her children and grandchildren, especially.

WE LOVE HER SO MUCH.
