One Thing that Scares Me the Most

We have our fears; we have things we are afraid to face, right? But it's normal because only humans have our weaknesses and strengths. But when somebody asks you now, what is the thing that scares you the most? Maybe, many things will come into your mind about what scares you the most; here, you will think about yourself and the people you love and who love you. And that's what's in my head when someone asks me this question. **Being a breadwinner, one thing that scares me the most is time**. I know time is not our enemy, but the time of how long you spend in this world is what scares me the most. Yes, I'm afraid to die, and I know I'm not ready at all, but it's not what frightened me but the idea of not being able to do all my dreams, plans, and goals for my family is what scares me. **I guess that is the heart of being a family breadwinner;** as I have mentioned in my last article, my parents pursued my studies even though challenging and despite the hardships and struggles that we were into during that time. They sacrificed a lot, and I witnessed all their efforts to make my dream come true. I saw my mother's tears and silent cries, so I promised myself that I would do everything for them to give back for what they have done and make me who and what I am now. I want to make them feel that everything they've done for me is all worth it, and they are worth it. Though they did not oblige me to give back and return for what they have invested in me, my willingness and heart say and do so because it's how much I love them. My parents are not getting younger anymore; they deserve to be happy and all the goodness in this world. *Life is so unpredictable, unavoidable, and uncertain happens unexpectedly. I've known a lot of breadwinners like me who died suddenly. It weakens my heart knowing and seeing how the family is affected and in pain, especially for families whose parents are incapable of having a job and those who are the eldest among their siblings.* So now, I am doing what's the best for my parents and family; I make sure to sustain and surpass the things they need and make them happy. Now that I'm still capable and have time, I always think of the best things they should have. I'm selfless and very family-oriented; all I want is what will make my family, especially my parents, happy. I know some of the breadwinners here will understand what I am into, but so far, that is one thing that scares me the most. How about you? What thing scares you the most? __________________________________________________
