After recovering from Covid-19, Neymar was not happy to return to the field against Marseille. He also saw a red card in the team's 1-0 defeat against Marseille.
Towards the end of the match, a foul by Leandro Daniel Pardes centered the match between the two sides. At one point in the scuffle, Neymar was seen hitting Gonzalez with his hand behind his head.
Neymar, Levin Kurzawa and Pardes of PSG and Jordan Amavi and Dario Benedetto of Marseille were expelled in that incident. As he left the field, he looked at the camera and heard Neymar say something.
Neymar later took to Twitter to express his anger. He made allegations of racist behavior against Gonsal.
"My only regret is not being able to hit the bad guy."
In another post, Neymar also demanded that Gonzalez's behavior be exposed.
“I have been punished. The VAR has caught on to my behavior and I'm challenging Alvaro's racist remarks. "
Gonzalez, however, denied the allegations. "There is no place for racism," he wrote on social media.
Neymar made the allegation out of frustration with Marseille coach Andre Vios-Boas.
“I don’t think it has been (racist behavior). Because, Alvaro is an experienced player. There is no place for racism in football. ”
"Neymar was a bit upset because of the situation towards the end of the match. I hope the allegations do not divert attention from this victory. ”
I saw the game, there were 5 red and 17 yellow cards in total, there was everything except football
