In every filipino party, karaoke machine is always present in the venue. It's part of how filipino celebrate and have fun to every occasions such as birthdays, fiesta, holidays and more. Filipinos are known for being good at singing, not literally everyone but most of them. That's why, hearing someone singing on a mic from your neighborhood is really common here in the Philippines. It's part of pinoy's life.

Singing serves as one of the best way for every filipinos to get bond with each other during a special day or celebration. And as a filipino, I've already attended so many karaoke parties. One thing I've noticed is that, the choices of songs of filipino to play in karaoke. For today's topic, I will share here the songs that I think are part of filipino favorites to sing on a karaoke. So here are them.

Ang Huling El Bimbo

You will mostly hear this in a party or celebration being sung by a man with his friends beside him while drinking alcoholic beverages. Aside from that, it is mostly sung by a student in a certain karaoke room together with his/her classmates after their class. This song is not too high to sing that's why everyone could play and sing this to a karaoke. Ang Huling El Bimbo is a song by Eraserheads and was released on 1995, after that it became one of the most picked song to sing at every filipino celebrations. The popularity of this song never fades from the day it was first released up until now.

Back To December

As a girl, I've witnessed how this song is so used in every birthdays I've attended. This song is mostly sung by teenage girls like me, and I won't excempt myself from them. I love singing this song too before since I'm a fan of Taylor Swift together with Avril Lavigne's Complicated LOL.

Halik | Basang Basa sa Ulan

This is mostly sung by those who can reach high notes. Since filipinos are known for being a good singer then this song is just a common song to sing here. Halik and Basang Basa sa Ulan is both a song of Aegis. Also, these songs is mostly sung by those who are already drunk so they can reach the high parts of the song 😂.

Halaga

A song by Parokya ni Edgar, just like the song 'Huling El Bimbo', I would rank this song as similar to that song when in terms of how it is being picked at every filipino occasions. Until now, it is still part of filipino's favorites.

It's All Coming Back To Me Now

Here in our place is a proof already of how this song became part of my choices to include here. Both my mother and sisters love to sing this song in karaoke as well as our neighbors here. This song is by Céline Dion.

Narda

A song by Kamikazee, this song was made to paid tribute through a song to the most well known filipina superhero here in the Philippines named Darna.

The Day You Said Goodnight

"To beee mukha kang tutubi", this famous line came from this song LOL. But we all know how this song became so used at every karaoke parties we've attended. This is mostly reffered as nostalgic song and is still being sung by everyone until now. This song is so beautiful, it was written by Roll Martinez Jr. from the band Hale.

Migraine

Mostly sung by those who are being ignored by their crush haha. I bet most of the pinoys who are reading this now knows how popular this song is in every karaoke parties or celebrations. This is a song by the rock band called Moonstar88.

Di Ko Na Mapipigilan

When there's a party, there must be a song that has a good beat that will make every people dance and this is the perfect song for that. This a song by Sexbomb Dancers. Lately, this song became popular because of the trend on Tiktok. It even became part of the dance challenge in the same platform where the challengers were only boys.

There you have it! These are the songs I find being used and sung most of the time in a filipino karaoke. There's a lot more but since they are too many, I can't include all of them here hehe.
